Reviews mention

  • High-protein, plant-based nutrition
  • Flavorful, umami-rich broths
  • Convenient, quick preparation
  • Versatile base for add-ins
  • Rubbery, grainy noodle texture
  • Inconsistent, bland broths
  • Very salty soup bases
  • Small, skimpy portions

immi earns polarized reviews: many praise the plant‑based ramen for satisfying, high‑protein, low‑carb comfort with flavorful broths like Black Garlic “Chicken,” Spicy “Beef,” and Tom Yum, while a substantial number say it isn’t good because the noodles taste rubbery or grainy and the soups can be bland or overly salty. Reviews indicate it works well as a healthy base with add‑ins and easy prep, but texture inconsistencies, small portions, and flavor balance hold it back.

  • I had a promotion to try this for free and I was not a big fan. The flavor was okay but isn't the point of instant ramen that it's super affordable? I was glad to try it for free but probably won't buy again.

  • I like the taste of this product. I enjoyed actually that it was a little harder but more chewy than Ramen. I like that it was chewy but in a good texture. it is expensive, however. The benefits of our impressive, especially if you enjoy Ramen, but I want something healthier. This is your brand for you.

  • This Ramen was very easy to make. Tasted extremely unique compared to all the Ramen that I’ve had. I love the bright color packaging as well as the price that it sells for. I’m looking forward to trying new flavors.

  • While the flavor of this product was good, I could not get past the noodle texture, which I found to be markedly worse than that of other plant-based brands. Though I wanted to like this product, I will not be buying it again.

  • I did not like these very much. There's something in the ramen that makes the broth feel quite heavy and salty not in a pleasant way. Maybe I'll throw away the boiled water and try their seasoning with plain boiled water from another pot.

  • These are delicious. I love the flavors, and I am crazy about the texture of the noodles. They are toothsome, chewy and substantial. I cook them for ten minutes and they are wonderful. I am especially appreciative of the high protein value. I’ve been a vegetarian for many decades, and these meet my needs for flavor, quality and nutritional value perfectly. There is no artificial aftertaste whatsoever. I enjoy adding different chopped veggies like spinach, carrots, scallions and mushrooms. Thanks for making my day a bit easier with these simple and healthy noodles.

  • While I appreciate the idea of a low-carb, high-protein ramen product, immi missed the mark on the texture/flavor of the noodles for me. It lacked the chewiness and softness of ramen that I love. The noodles were a bit gritty and just didn't have much flavor. I do think the broth tasted good, but I felt like I had to add some fresh herbs and toppings to really enjoy this ramen.

  • I get that they are trying to be healthier than normal ramen and more sustainable through not using animal products and they are but it's still refined grains, the concentrated wheat protein can be inflammatory, and it is single-serve non-recyclable, non-compostable packaging. I do like that they sell topping mix though

  • I have this stuff in my pantry from trying it out. It doesn't satisfy that ramen craving at all. The flavors are also not quite there. Not sure they can get close to the right ramen texture with their formula.

  • The gluten free concept is great but the noodle has a very hard chewy texture which is not my preference. The shrimp soup broth that comes with the packet tastes great though. I also feel the immi noodles are a little small so it’s a little expensive.

  • I know there are nutritional advantages, but I just realized from this product that I don't eat instant ramen for the health benefits. I've never thought, I'd like my instant ramen to be healthier and taste worse. So this is not a product for me. I add vegetables to contribute to nutrition, but I want the noodles themselves to feel like actual ramen. These ones are weird in both texture and flavor, and if I use the full packet of chili oil it's too spicy for me but if I don't use it at all it's too bland. I do appreciate that it's meat-free.

  • We love lower carb options, especially noodles. Very tasty option. They are a little pricey at $6 a pack. Also the only place I was able to buy them was Whole Foods or online on their website. If they were more affordable and readily accessible that would be better.

  • I enjoy ramen noodles at home every now and then and I was really excited to try this brand for the first time. I thought Spicy Red Miso sounded unique and delicious and the broth itself was, but the noodles tasted so incredibly bad. They tasted exactly like cardboard. Unfortunately, I would never buy Immi ever again.

  • I love this ramen!! Great flavor, and super high in protein especially compared to other brands. I like to cook it in bone broth for even more protein. I would recommend this brand to any friend or family member!

  • I recently gave Immi's low-carb, plant-based, high-protein instant ramen a try after snagging it on a super sale from GoPuff. Overall, it was an okay experience. The ramen had a slightly chewy texture, which felt a bit raw even after cooking it according to the instructions. Flavor-wise, it was decent but didn't quite hit the spot like traditional ramen does. As someone who's always on the lookout for healthier alternatives, I appreciated the plant-based, high-protein aspect, but it fell a bit short in taste and texture. Given the hefty full price for bagged ramen, I’m glad I got it on sale. I wouldn’t pay the regular cost, but if you’re curious and find it discounted, it might be worth a try—just don’t expect it to fully replace the classic comfort of traditional instant ramen.

  • I thought Ramen for it being relatively healthy. I did purchase it another time but I would say it will be a staple in my pantry. The noodles are a bit chewy compared to regular ramen.

  • Immi’s Black Garlic Chicken instant ramen is a game-changer! The broth is rich and savory, with a deep, smoky flavor from the black garlic that makes every bite so satisfying. I love that it’s low-carb, plant-based, and high-protein, making it a great option for a healthier, filling meal. The noodles cook quickly and have the perfect texture, and the seasoning is spot-on. If you're looking for a delicious, guilt-free ramen that doesn’t compromise on flavor, Immi is a must-try! 🌱🔥

  • Easy way to boost protein - not the tastiest ramen option

I bought these mostly to keep my protein goals on target. It's convenient and high in protein. Like others have said, there is a kind off-putting smell. The broth is not the best tasting. The noodles have a "gluten-free" texture even though they do have gluten, but I like it. I bought some new flavors to try and see if I like them better. I only tried the black garlic chicken. So far, it's not a product I crave, but an easy, portable way to get protein if I'm at the office or need something quick and convenient.
