Hoka earns strong reviews for comfort and performance, with models like Clifton, Bondi, Arahi, Mach, and Speedgoat praised for cloud‑soft cushioning, lightweight feel, and pain relief over long hours; however, durability concerns (outsoles peeling, fast wear), inconsistent sizing/fit, bulky aesthetics, and poor customer service repeatedly surface. Reviews indicate Hoka works exceptionally for walking, road running, standing all day, and recovery, but trail durability and narrow/wide fit needs can be mismatched for some buyers.

  • Hoka makes extremely comfortable shoes that wear out SO FAST! I say this as someone who owns two pairs, partner wears a pair regularly, multiple family members own multiple pairs. They are unmatched when it comes to cushioning - my feet aren't terribly achy after standing on my feet all day, or doing long runs/walks/hikes. But it's ridiculous how easily they fall apart. The heel on all of my pairs has completely ripped to shreds within about 4-5 months (don't treat them differently than any of my others sneakers or shoes). Other friends and family have noted the soles coming off and various areas tearing or fraying quickly. 5/5 for comfort and support, 1/5 for longevity.

  • These are top-tier shoes for active people. Whether you run, train, walk, or some combination of any of those, these provide great support to your feet while you do it I just wish I could afford to get another pair!

  • I have small feet - typically a womens US 6. I purchased a size up, and a wide. That said the Clifton 9s are THE BEST SNEAKER I HAVE EVER WORN. I can't stop telling people to buy them. I am not sure if I will ever put a different sneaker on my foot. Once you find the appropriate size, I am convinced you will not be disappointed.

  • I love my hokas! They are such comfortable shoes to walk or run in. I recommend them to everyone and I would buy another pair.

  • Hokas are truly elite—I have the Clifton 9s, and they are so comfortable and supportive. As someone who has had chronic knee pain for almost 20 years, what a relief it was to find a brand that helps keep my knees feeling happy.

  • I recently bought an under the desk treadmill and needed *inside shoes* for it. So I ended up getting the Hoka Clifton 8 sneakers and love them. They're sturdy without feeling restrictive and the cushion is really helpful during my longer stretches of walking. I have no arches and feel the arches in the shoes are giving me support to prevent my ankles from pronating inwards. I might grab another pair for outside shoes!

  • I bought my Hokas as the only shoes to bring on a 3 month backpacking trip through Europe and it was the best choice ever! They are cute and comfortable and so light.

  • I love my Hoka!! I have high arches and wide feet and my Hoka’s fit perfectly and my feet no longer hurt.

  • I got inspired to buy Hokas after I got back from Disney World. As a flat footed overpronated person, I needed support bad. My joints and my back were in bad shape from wearing basically shoes with no support and walking all day.

  • I love Hokas, the cushion and support are great. Love the beautiful color ways and cute designs. It’s a quality product and worth the price, in my opinion. Would definitely recommend if you’re on your feet a lot.

  • HOKA shoes are literally the lightest thing I’ve ever worn on my feet. I do track after school and during practices and I use these shoes whenever I’m practicing. For a runner looking for a light fit this is for you

  • May not be the most fashionable shoes but these are super comfortable and the sneaker of choice for travel! I did have some sizing issues between models but the Cliftons have been pretty solid. They do end up being a bit pricey so I tend to wait until a style goes on sale to buy.

  • Hokas are my new goto shoe for everyday. They are great, comfortable and really support my joint health. Their trail runners are my personal favorite.

  • I was a loyal Nike customer forever. Recently needed to get a new pair of running shoes and decided to go into a running specialty store to see what specific shoes they would recommend based on my gait analysis. Among their recommendations were the Hoka Cliftons, which instantly felt amazing on the feet. Also love the wide range of colors. I’m running a marathon in these shoes in a couple of weeks, and will not be going back to Nikes for running shoes.

  • Hoka shoes have truly transformed my running experience. The cushioning is exceptional, providing a soft landing that feels gentle on my joints, yet they still offer great stability. I've found that they’re perfect for long-distance runs as well as everyday wear. The lightweight design makes them feel almost weightless, while the impressive grip ensures I feel secure on various terrains. Whether you’re a seasoned runner or someone just getting into fitness, Hoka can provide the comfort and support needed to take your performance to the next level. Highly recommend!

  • I switched from ON, to HOKA a few years ago, and will never go back. I wear my HOKA sneakers to the gym, and for exercise walks almost every day, and love how they fit, how much support they offer, and the cloudlike sole makes it feel like I'mm bouncing around the gym. I wish they'd offer a few more colors, but they do seem to change the selection each season.

  • Pretty good shoes overall. I have difficulty with their sizing however and only one style fits me. I’m either an 8 or 8.5 but in all but one style the 8.5 is way too big and the 8 is too small. So I don’t see a long term use of this brand.

  • Love their hiking shoes. No need to adjust, they’re just comfy and ready to go!
