Halo Top's range of flavors and healthier nutritional content is appreciated, but reviews suggest a lack in taste and texture quality, often described as artificial and not creamy. Some flavors like Red Velvet and Peanut Butter have been praised, but consistency across all flavors seems to be an issue. The brand's concept and packaging are admired, but the ice cream is considered expensive and not always satisfying. Some people also reported issues with other products like ready-to-bake cookies.

Halo Top is a great alternative to regular ice cream. while it can be less sweet, I think it is still a decent treat. Gingerbread house and birthday cake are my favs!
In the past I have gotten these when on sale. I personally have been trying to avoid ice creams but they are flavorful!

It’s cool that you can eat a whole pint of this ice cream because it’s low Calorie. That’s an awesome selling point. I do think the flavor isn’t as great because of that but for what it is, it works!

Does not taste like ice cream, it does not freeze like ice cream. The flavor tastes very artificial with the fake sugars. Not a fan of the peanut butter cup.

I have tried other "healthier" ice creams and they almost always seem to lack something in the flavor or texture. Halo Top was a pleasant surprise! The first flavor I tried was Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough and it did not disappoint! The texture was creamy and the flavor was delicious! I have since tried several of the other flavors and they are just as great! Halo Top also has dairy free (made with coconut cream) and gluten free options.
I've tried two flavors from this brand. The chocolate chip cookie dough was pretty good, but the cookies & cream felt way too watery and tasteless. This mixed result makes me hesitant to want to try new flavors because what if I pick another dud?

I had the honor of testing Halo Top Red Velvet Ice Cream, yum, red velvet, so smooth and creamy, what a wonderful treat. I cant wait to try other flavors now, I'm sure I wont be disappointed.

I liked the way their packaging and branding is designed it's the only thing I like about this brand. The ice cream itself tasted watery and melted alot more faster than other ice creams that I've tasted. The Chocolate Caramel Brownie flavor had very small and tasteless chunks of brownie pieces. Throughout the whole pint they barely put any of the brownie pieces in there. This tasted nothing like the flavor that it was advertised to be!
The texture of this ice cream was really weird to me and I wasn't too fond of the flavors...
Not my favourite, taste and texture wise it isn't great in my opinion. If it's calories you're concerned about, you're honestly better off just eating a smaller amount of regular ice cream than a whole tub of Halo Top, because this is expensive and really doesn't live up to the hype.

I recently bought and made Halo Top's Peanut Butter and Chocolate Chip ready-to-bake cookies. I wish I didn't. I followed the instructions on the back of the package, and the cookies came out only partially done. I attempted to cook them a little longer to no effect. They eventually dried out, but remained too soft, gooey, and sweet for me to want to do anything other than eat them myself.

I actually really liked the flavor of the peanut butter ice cream. A lot of people have commented on the texture- the one I tried was definitely more whipped and therefore felt lighter, but I didn't notice any graininess or other issues. The best part was the peanut butter swirl. Based on other reviews I don't know that I would try other flavors, but I really enjoyed this one.
I like the idea of this product, but it really doesn't satisfy a craving for ice cream. While it can be palatable as a frozen dessert on occasion, it sometimes leaves a burning sensation in your throat after consuming, which makes it feel as if you are eating a highly processed product.

Halo Top has wide range of flavors to choose from. The ice cream is lower in fat, sugar and calories but higher in protein than the regular ice cream. The taste is delicious, wish the cookies bits are much bigger, ha! The texture is good - creamy and soft.

I love Halo Top ice cream! I love creamy, fluffy, good-tasting ice cream and this is really just that! Only it's low sugar and higher in protein...even better! I will definitely be buying it again.
Halo Top is a great low-carb, lower-sugar ice cream with protein. I recommend their Keto series, especially the Macadamia Nut Cookie flavor.
The birthday cake is the best flavor, but as it is a lower-calorie option it obviously won't be as good as the classics. I'd rather eat a smaller portion of regular ice cream than this.
Definitely good for anyone who want something sweet for fewer calories, but it’s not my favorite. I’ve noticed there’s an almost grainy texture to the ice cream, and some flavors have that aspartame-y aftertaste.
It just wasn’t for me. I don’t think it’s a good substitute for ice cream may be good for bodybuilders and those who are a calorie counting. I didn’t satiate my craving. I didn’t like the texture, and I can’t even give it to my kid since I am weary of the chemicals .
Halo Top tastes good for being so low calorie, but in terms of frozen desserts, I would prefer to eat a regular dessert and have less, or not have ice cream as often. Flavors are hit and miss, with some having more of that artificially flavored/fake sugar taste. I would recommend this for someone who is fine with diet-type items and doesn't struggle with their diet, although I'm not sure if someone who doesn't struggle with their diet would ever reach for this product.
