  • Elegant reusable glass dispensers
  • Fresh, appealing signature scents
  • Eco‑minded concentrate system
  • Broad, curated product selection
  • Confusing, aggressive subscription model
  • Inconsistent sprayer component durability
  • Breakable glass bottle vulnerability
  • Occasionally underpowered cleaning efficacy

Grove Collaborative earns largely positive reviews for effective, fresh‑smelling, eco‑minded cleaning and home essentials, but frustration around an aggressive, confusing subscription model and occasional product quality issues tempers the praise. Reviews credit the brand’s reusable glass dispensers, concentrates, scents like Lemon Eucalyptus and Orange Rosemary, and broad curated selection (from Dirty Labs to OSEA), while calling out weak sprayers, breakable glass bottles, hit‑or‑miss house‑brand tools, and packaging waste; buyers who dislike subscriptions or want maximum cleaning power may be disappointed.

  • Grove Collaborative is a fantastic subscription service for eco-friendly and sustainable household products. I love that they offer a wide range of items, from cleaning supplies to personal care products, all thoughtfully sourced and environmentally friendly. The convenience of having these essentials delivered right to my door is a huge plus. Their packaging is minimal and recyclable, which makes me feel good about my purchases. Customer service is prompt and helpful, which is always a bonus. Overall, Grove Collaborative is a great choice for anyone looking to make more conscious shopping decisions while maintaining quality in their everyday products.

  • My experiences with Grove Collaborative has been a mixed bag. On one hand, it's great that they offer a somewhat curated selection of "cleaner" home products. However, since this is such a trendy market/marketing opportunity, more and more brands are also using this approach. Physical and online stores have been adding "eco-friendly", "clean", etc. products to their lineups, often coming in cheaper and more readily available formats. The subscription model is never my favorite, and after I joined, I did eventually want to cancel, which was less straightforward than I wanted it to be. Their sales are repetitive and don't feel like fantastic deals to be had. Overall, it is fine, but at this point in time, you can buy nearly identical products elsewhere without the subscription model.

  • The glass bottles last forever. I had mind for YEARS before I stupidly broke it- the rubber protective cover works very well typically! I think Grove is a great initiative of clean products, but I think they’re overpriced, especially their subscription!

  • Love that there's no plastic waste with these products & the soap refills are extremely easy to use, with resealable aluminum caps. The scents are great & they don't irritate my skin like so many non-natural soaps.

  • I love the glass bottles, paper boxes, and lack of plastic. The reusable cleaning bottles with the name of the cleaner on the base is fantastic. Replacing all of my cleaners with Grove.

  • Back in 2017/2018, before CleanTok, there was “clean with me” YouTube videos. And Grove sponsored allll of these videos, so I’ve been using the site for a while. Of course, one of the best benefits is the lovely welcome gift you are given when you sign up. I think Grove was worth it a few years ago when products like Caldrea, Method, and Mrs Meyers were less freely-available. But now with most of these products being offered at every major retailer & subscription fatigue, I personally canceled my subscription. I do think it’s worth it 100% if you’re getting into clean cleaning/beauty products, but it has lost some exclusivity benefits. Go get your free welcome kit, though!

  • Received a few emails from them then finally decided to try out their products. Got some cleaning products and a few kitchen products a well. Really pleased when I received my orders. Seemed like I got a lot for what I actually paid for so I’m pretty sure I’ll be returning. Overall a happy customer ☺️

  • I am blown away by Grove Co. It came into my life at a time I really needed it and I can't stop recommending it to my friends. When I moved into a new apartment, I felt strongly that I wanted to minimize plastic containers and packaging so I looked for cleaning supplies, wellness goodies, kitchen stuff, etc. that was plastic free. Grove carries a lot of brands but I almost exclusively only buy Grove's label. Their glass bottles with aluminum refillables is the perfect answer to my dreams and every time I peruse their site, I see solutions to live more sustainably.

  • Awesome great products. Used for a while until subscription went out. A little pricey especially when you can get similar products cheaper. Still, one of my faves.

  • I have tried a few of the cleaning products on sale, and I think they work pretty well. However, my favourite product is a dish towel they sold a few years back, just because it is my favourite colour, fits well in my home, and is excellent quality!

  • Grove collective laundry sheets are my favorite thing ever well not really but they are great. Makes doing laundry even easier, the sent is so strong and my clothes always feel nice and clean. Would recommend.

  • I use Grove regularly and really appreciate their versatility (also their store brand). Their prices are competitive, though not always significantly discounted. Yet, it is a signifiant boon to be able to shop multiple brands simultaneously without switching sites, which is difficult with sustainable/green/eco/cruelty-free brands. My household can shop with Grove for the majority of our household items (and some body care items). I was super surprised, and pleased, to see them offer brands I actually use (or know someone I trust who uses it): Dirty Labs Molly's Suds Biobag Stasher Osea Ursa Major Marley's Monsters Kari Gran Indie Lee Shea Moisture Hi-Bar I also love several of their store brand products. We now use their cleaning concentrates (for refill bottles), Swedish dishcloths, laundry bags, walnut sponges, etc. A big surprise was that our cats' new favorite treats come from Grove -- the Catnip N' Chill crunchy treats. All three of my cats go wild for them.

  • I've had a Grove Collaborative account for years, and I'm consistently happy with the products they offer. They have a very easy-to-navigate subscription model, where you can skip, modify, and cancel all together seamlessly without jumping through too many hoops. Love the sustainable packaging, ability to adjust subscription frequency, and seasonal products/scents they have! I also find the reviews on their products are very honest.

  • I absolutely love Grove! Have been using them for paper products, skin care, cleaning products/materials and so much more environmental friendly and safe products. I can't explain how I felt being able to say "we don't have any harmful products in this household" recently. Grove has helped me get there! You can subscribe or order individually or go back and forth, easily.

  • They have a great selection of plant friendly products and a great first time sign up offer where you often get free products (so look for those before you push complete on your first offer). The only downside is that brands are a bit more expensive on this site than if you buy them individually, however the benefit is the convenience of getting them from one place.

  • It was easy to order online. They have amazing scents and refills for any cleaning products without harm chemicals. I love that you can subscribe and have your products shipped to your door without running out of anything and keeping your home clean!

  • I’ve really wanted to try out these products, but haven’t yet, because we’ve had to be really tight with our spending in this economy. I did do a lot of research though and their products seem to be some of the healthier better options out there! I really hope to try these out soon!

  • A couple years ago I really started thinking more about sustainability and the lasting effect of the products I use. Discovering Grove was a great and simple way to see better products that I could be using for common household supplies. It can be hard to know how to get started in a more eco friendly lifestyle, and Grove provides some really easy ideas of products to use to achieve that goal!

  • Grove bamboo toilet paper is our favorite go to. Their tree free paper towels are also great. Very durable and absorbent. Cleaning concentrates are all good too. Some of the scents need to be permanent asap too. The one with Drew Barrymore, the palm leaf one, smells amazing.

  • Great concept that make sense and they have great intro package deals for new customers!
