Grove Collaborative is valued for its eco-friendly products, array of offerings, and convenient delivery. Customers appreciate their competitive pricing, great scents, and the ability to shop multiple brands. However, criticisms include a complicated subscription model, perceived overpricing, and excessive use of plastic in packaging.

I found the brand's model and inventory to be overwhelming and with the push to subscription, I decided to opt out after placing two orders over the course of a couple of months. While I respect and desire using safer products, I felt like it was more work to search and select the brands and items online.  I also found some of the items (sponges and reusable/washable paper towel) to be low quality. 

I learned that I seek out a smaller inventory of core products vs lots of choices and a growing assortment. I gifted my Mom a Grove kit and she absolutely loves the brand and searching out items with each order, but for me it didn't work out.

I've had a Grove Collaborative account for years, and I'm consistently happy with the products they offer. They have a very easy-to-navigate subscription model, where you can skip, modify, and cancel all together seamlessly without jumping through too many hoops. 

Love the sustainable packaging, ability to adjust subscription frequency, and seasonal products/scents they have! I also find the reviews on their products are very honest. 

I use Grove regularly and really appreciate their versatility (also their store brand).  Their prices are competitive, though not always significantly discounted. Yet, it is a signifiant boon to be able to shop multiple brands simultaneously without switching sites, which is difficult with sustainable/green/eco/cruelty-free brands.

My household can shop with Grove for the majority of our household items (and some body care items). I was super surprised, and pleased, to see them offer brands I actually use (or know someone I trust who uses it):

I also love several of their store brand products. We now use their cleaning concentrates (for refill bottles),  Swedish dishcloths, laundry bags, walnut sponges, etc. 

A big surprise was that our cats' new favorite treats come from Grove -- the Catnip N' Chill crunchy treats. All three of my cats go wild for them. 

Grove collective laundry sheets are my favorite thing ever well not really but they are great. Makes doing laundry even easier, the sent is so strong and my clothes always feel nice and clean. Would recommend. 

I purchased a bunch of items from Grove as a special promotion a bit ago and these three products stand out in my mind: 1) the glass spray bottles with colorful bottoms are terrific for refilling liquids -- especially when using the 1 oz concentrates. And so much prettier to look at! 
2) the multi-surface counter sprays -- obsessed with these! 
3) Dish soap refill -- also obsessed.  Favorite scents are the peppermint one and then Lavender. 
I was not reimbursed nor did I receive a discount from my purchases. 

Love the mission, but the products still need some development. Of course, all 'clean' products have to contend with the efficiency of commercialized chemical-based products - there is always a compromise, but I need more powerful results when it comes to cleaning my home. I really wih they could crack it.

I have tried a few of the cleaning products on sale, and I think they work pretty well. However, my favourite product is a dish towel they sold a few years back, just because it is my favourite colour, fits well in my home, and is excellent quality!

Subscribed to them for a while.  Loved their products. 

Love that there's no plastic waste with these products & the soap refills are extremely easy to use, with resealable aluminum caps. The scents are great & they don't irritate my skin like so many non-natural soaps.

Bought from their website last year, and now our dish soap, cleaning spray and hand soap is the only brand we use in the kitchen. So glad they are now at target as shipping can take a bit. Also love that the have seasonal scents!

I have been using the dish soap, all purpose cleaner,  and laundry detergent for several years and love the products. Their customer service is also spot on. Once, the shipment arrived and the dish soap had leaked. They immediately replaced the shipment without being asked. I highly recommend the walnut sponges as well. The only gripe I have is with their spray bottles. I have had issues with them failing-which is disappointing because the ethos of the company is to eliminate plastic waste.

Awesome great products. Used for a while until subscription went out. A little pricey especially when you can get similar products cheaper. Still, one of my faves. 

The glass bottles last forever. I had mind for YEARS before I stupidly broke it- the rubber protective cover works very well typically! I think Grove is a great initiative of clean products, but I think they’re overpriced, especially their subscription!

My experiences with Grove Collaborative has been a mixed bag. On one hand, it's great that they offer a somewhat curated selection of "cleaner" home products. However, since this is such a trendy market/marketing opportunity, more and more brands are also using this approach. Physical and online stores have been adding "eco-friendly", "clean", etc. products to their lineups, often coming in cheaper and more readily available formats. The subscription model is never my favorite, and after I joined, I did eventually want to cancel, which was less straightforward than I wanted it to be. Their sales are repetitive and don't feel like fantastic deals to be had. Overall, it is fine, but at this point in time, you can buy nearly identical products elsewhere without the subscription model. 

My favorite thing about this brand is the lack of single-use plastic. I also really like that they are available in big retailers like Target, making them more accessible to people. However, it is at a slightly higher price point and sometimes feels like it isn't cleaning like other brands.

I love my Grove products and the fact that I feel like I’m doing good for our environment when I use them - they’re very reasonably priced and the smells are amazing. 

I got the multi-purpose cleaner with concentrate and soap dispenser with hand soap. Living in a large house with a lot of roommates, we naturally go through a lot of cleaning products and the grove was a great sustainable and inexpensive option! The cleaner cut the grease on our countertop and smells amazing. Also with purchasing both items our order came with a lot of free gifts such as sponges, reusable zip lock bags, and extra soap refill bottles. 

The hand written notes on the boxes are the best!

Love grove the seedling bamboo toilet paper is our favorite! 

I bought from Grove Co. online back before the pandemic trying to find products that were better for me and the environment . When the pandemic came along, no one could find cleaning products anywhere - except at Grove. I still have my original hand soap dispenser in the kitchen (5 years old?) that came as a gift with purchase. Since then, I found my favorite product at Target! I use the Orange-Rosemary scent multi-purpose cleaner. It is great to coffee clean stains off my light-colored cabinets to dog pee on the rug. It comes in a paper box and tiny glass bottles. You pour just a bit of the concentrate in a squirt bottle and add water. 

I have used Grove on and off for over 3 years now.  I love all the perks of having a membership but at the same time it is kind of over priced for the perks.  Also Grove charges more and you can get the same things at Target . However if you are someone who don't have a Target near you or don't like to go out shopping Grove is the best place to go to get good non harsh cleaning supplies.   Also Grove does price match!!! The reusable bottles are my favorite and last also durable !
