This hair. Caroline is amazing. I love the pink bottle set and I have tried the shampoo conditioner and leave in conditioner and the trio altogether is amazing. My hair has never felt softer after using these products.

Function of Beauty left my hair super oily and I was not satisfied at all. The only thing I liked was the cute packaging.

Well I used it long ago and this shampoo cause my hair to shed. Even year after stopping my hair still sheds. I should have known since it had the same scent as the shampoo from different brand that also caused my hair to shed. And back to company , I read a lot of reviews that had the same issues.

Mediocre at best. Smelled decent but made my hair feel extremely dry. Did not finish the bottle before moving on to something that worked better.

these are a fun gimmick and the hair products work fine but they're nothing special and cost a bit too much for what they are

Love the idea of this, but I tried a few hair products and they just didn't work for me. I liked that it was available at Target so it was easy for me to try, but unfortunately the products just didn't hit the mark.

You’ll find this stuff at target.. please just don’t. Hair brands keep claiming to be able to formulate to your hair type but every time I try a product that advertises this I get let down hard. I have naturally curly hair and this wasn’t different than a normal shampoo or conditioner.. fail.

Cute packaging but I don’t think it does anything special for my hair. Could go without it, try a high quality hair product if you want something effective!

I tried Function of Beauty before it was in the big box stores, so I got a whole bundle with the shampoo, conditioner, and leave-in conditioner. The products felt generic when I used it despite being "customized" to my hair, the scent was artificial and overpowering, the packaging felt cheap relative to the price point, and the performance was about the same as what I got from my regular, much more affordable hair products. I've literally gotten better results from using bar soap on my hair. It was one of those products where I immediately regretted wasting my money.

Your name on the bottle is the only thing special about Function of Beauty, I quickly reverted back to my usual shampoo and conditioner.

Fell for influencer marketing and tried out their shampoo and conditioner duo. Didn't do anything for my hair, and was so pricey. There's also an ongoing lawsuit about how their products cause hair damage.

I tried the shampoo and conditioner meant for both fine and curly hair. Both variants dried out my hair, with the fine shampoo leaving my hair stringy and unkempt and the curly one somehow riding my hair of any curl, despite my hair being curly at baseline.

I like how customizable this product is. I tried their shampoo and conditioner and found that there was a good amount of product included for the price. I also like how you not only help customize the product for your specific needs, but you can also choose the color and scent--it's fun!

I bought function of beauty for curly hair conditioner at Target with a few of the add-ins and HATED the way it made my hair feel. There was no slip at all and my hair felt more tangled after using it. I would skip this product at all costs. There are cheaper alternatives that work better. Don’t be fooled by the cute packaging.

After Kheils discontinued my favorite shampoo I've been on the hunt for a mid-priced haircare line that specializes in dry hair and I while I love the concept of this product, after 2 months of use I just didn't feel like I got the benefits it touts. I even used the pro line as opposed to the line they carry at Target.

I use the Target version of function of beauty, and I think that it is a perfectly good shampoo and conditioner. I like that you can customize it to your own hair goals. It is a reasonable price point too. However, I wish that they would sell bigger 'boosters' for the larger bottles of shampoo...
