  • Versatile, everyday condiment
  • Distinctive sichuan pepper tingle
  • Eye-catching, stylish packaging
  • Very oily, messy jars
  • Inconsistent crunch texture

Fly by Jing earns strong reviews for delivering flavorful, versatile Sichuan-inspired condiments—standouts include the OG Sichuan Chili Crisp and Zhong Sauce—that reliably elevate eggs, noodles, dumplings, and more. Reviews also flag notable drawbacks: many find the products very oily with inconsistent crunch, sometimes too mild (or occasionally too hot), and multiple mentions of leaky, messy jars and chili-to-oil imbalance.

  • I really enjoyed the ease of use of this sauce. I prepared my dumplings ahead of time and simply poured out the jarred sauce into a dipping vessel. The flavor was really great and made my dumplings that much more enjoyable!

  • Tried the chili crisp and liked it. Their products are used by other companies too.

  • I love that these products have so much flavor. The sauces add so much to my meal dishes and I like the fresh ingredients and great taste.

  • I love this brand and I love their FishWife collab but they aren't my top choice for chili crisp...they fit nicely though into my options.

  • absolutely delicious! spicy but flavorful and great to add in to soups or really any dish!

  • Fly by jing is incredible! So many delicious options that are each so unique. I love gifting this as it can be used so many ways.

  • The best flavors but the chile crisp is on constant rotation in my kitchen. Elevates every meal by giving it the perfect kick.

  • Love these as an easy addition into recipes to make them tastier and a simpler way to achieve overall balanced taste

  • The OG Sichuan Chili Crisp is perfect. Tons of flavor and texture which I like to add to my noodles and soups for a bit of kick (not too much, can get spicy fast). Also like to add a bit to chili for extra heat and depth of flavor. Is a bit on the pricier side but if you don't go through a lot, since a little packs a lot of flavor it's worth it.

  • Fly by Jing is a must-try for anyone who loves bold, flavorful Sichuan cuisine! Their spices and sauces are the perfect pairing for dumplings, adding a delicious depth of flavor with just the right amount of heat. I love that the ingredients are fresh and natural, making each bite feel like an authentic taste of China. The combination of convenience (hello, frozen dumplings) and premium flavor makes it an easy win for anyone craving something spicy and satisfying. Highly recommend for spice lovers and food adventurers! 🌶️🥟

  • I love chili crunch on EVERYTHING. The Fly by Jing version has that tingle from sichuan peppers. Sometimes I make my own to save money, but I can't replace those sichuans. I've also tried the frozen lunches by Daring with vegan "chicken" and Fly by Jing chili crunch. There are other products in the line, but I haven't tried them yet. One star off for the price point being higher than competitors on the grocery shelf.

  • Don't do it. There are so many better options that are cleaner, simpler, cheaper, and better. I was influenced to try the Fly by Jing Chili Crisp and it was just....expensive chili crisp. Please do yourself a favor and stick to any jar imported from Asia, or just make your own. This was way too mid for the cost/size. The 2 stars is due to the jar lasting a while, but I wish I didn't buy it in the first place.

  • Was not a fan. Didn’t hate it. Was expecting something exceptional.

  • This chili crisps is up there with Trader Joe's! I enjoyed it on some ramen noodles, and it added the perfect amount of heat and flavor. I could see this also tasting yummy in a stir fry. The packaging is eye-catching and i think the jar is a decent size.
