These cookies were pretty awful. I brought them to my office as I didn't think I'd eat them at home, with better options available in my pantry. They're supposedly healthy, but weren't even worth eating to me- they had a weird off-taste.
My pup Izzy loves these cheese treats! When I saw they were literally just cheese and it said made with human-grade ingredients, I admit I sampled one for myself. They taste great, just like those cheese whisps or cheese snacks at the store- so I made myself save the rest for Izzy! They're not greasy, somehow, so I can put a few in my pocket when we go on walks or to the park, and they're a really high value treat for her. Love these!
I've recently started taking creatine, as I'm trying to become stronger and spending more time at the gym. As a vegetarian, I feel like taking creatine fills a gap in my nutrition and helps my gym goals. I like this unflavored creatine, as stevia isn't my favorite aftertaste- I've dissolved a scoop of this in water, which is fine and unflavored, and I've also mixed it with a scoop of the splish splash hydration for double the benefit and less sweetener overall- both ways are great! The container is small and easy to transport if you want to keep it at the office, etc.
Tasty, but didn't love the nitro. The coffee is decent and tastes good with the oat milk. Probably wouldn't buy this one again unless it was on sale/BOGO.
I got the haircare travel duo from the thingtester promo, and it was around $14 at whole foods for two small tins (shampoo and conditioner). I've been using them at the gym after swimming, and the containers are super convenient to use for that purpose. I think I've used them 5 times so far, and I probably only have one (maybe two) more use left, based on how much product I found I needed to use to get my hair clean and conditioned. The smell of the shampoo was fine, nothing remarkable but I usually prefer less to no scent. The conditioner smelled amazing though- still subtle, but reminded me of the botanical smells of Aveda products. Overall, this travel set seems like a pretty poor value- I have some mini shampoo and conditioner bars from another brand that I may use these tins to store going forward, and see how long those last me compared to these concentrates.
I've tried the lions mane mushrooms and oyster mushrooms (blue and yellow), and was really happy with both of them! I've never seen lions mane for purchase outside of niche mushroom foragers at farmers markets, but these seemed pretty affordable (for what are usually only foraged mushrooms) and were really tasty, as were the oyster mushrooms. They were also super clean since they were cultivated, so no dirt!
I tried the oat milk latte, and really enjoyed it. I poured it over ice and it had a nice smooth texture and mildly sweet coffee taste. I'd buy this again, but I didn't actually notice any productivity improvement from the adaptogens.
These are my favorite protein bars! I've only ever seen them at Costco (a while ago, unfortunately), and I bought a couple boxes of the glazed donut/cookie dough combo. The texture is soft and easy to chew (even when it's almost frozen from being in my pack on the ski slopes), and the taste is great- no weird aftertaste. Wish I could find these more reliably, as I really like them (and would love to try the other flavors too).
