I’ve really been enjoying Le Chouchou Lip Softening Balm — it’s more than just a regular balm. It feels super hydrating and nourishing on my lips thanks to rich butters like açaí and mongongo, and the gentle exfoliating enzymes help smooth away dry patches so other lip products go on much better. The finish gives a natural glossy sheen with a nice hint of tint that looks effortless for everyday wear. It’s lightweight, comfortable, and doesn’t feel sticky. While it doesn’t last all day on its own, it keeps my lips soft and smooth throughout the afternoon. Overall, a great everyday lip treatment with color and care in one.
I. Love. This. Lip balm. I’ve rotated lip balms around every 6 months for the last few years, and I think besides the Ami Cole one, this will be one of the only ones I’m keeping in the rotation.
It has gorgeous pigment, great long wear (last at least 4 hours for me after applying), and does leave my lips feeling softer after wear. I also love the feel of the cooling metal applicator on my lips!
Take it from someone who is hyper-critical of most lip balms- this stuff really does what it says. Not only is the marketing great but turns out the balm’s exfoliating properties were what I needed this whole time to tame my perpetually cracking lips. I don’t think any product has effectively softened like this one has. Not to mention, the thick consistency is ideal for anyone who finds that most balms disappear after a while.
I knew nothing about this brand but liked the sound of the products so took the plunge. First off the packaging is really lovely. I got the new limited edition croissant au beurre lip balm. The metal tip is lovely and cooling on the lips and the formula feels nice but croissant scent it is not. I get zero smell which was disappointing.
I also got the cleansing balm gel. It has a refreshing citrus scent and takes off light makeup nicely and washes off easily, however I think I have just come to the conclusion that gel balm cleansers are just not for me. I prefer an oil as it’s easier to use and doesn’t tug at my skin or eyes at all.
Overall a nice experience from this brand but not a must have in my routine.
Pleasantly surprised! This lip balm is decadent! It feels so thick and smooth, with a large metal tip applicator, it’s very plush on the lips! I love the smell and flavor, as well as the variety of shades offered. I was equally as pleased to get a free chisel with my purchase, which is heavy duty and high quality! You won’t regret trying Le ChouChou!
This brand has been one that I have wanted to try for a while so I was very excited to see a Thingdrop for them! The packaging was great - no plastic waste and packaged very secure. I got the set of their main 5 Le Chouchou Lip Softening Balms. The colors are fantastic - exactly as pictured and the scents are really unique (which I like!). I've had chapped lips for about a week now and after like 2 uses of this balm they were back to normal! I will definitely be purchasing again in the future!! The applicator is also cool to touch on the lips which is very nice
Clean and Glam: Le Chouchou Lip Softening Balm
Goodbye parched lips and welcome a new daily dose of luxury.
From the very first unboxing, Eadem Le Chouchou is unique. The name itself is playful, fun to say, but this is far more than a gloss and certainly more than a balm. I chose Croissant au Beurre, a clear shade laced with subtle gold shimmer. It is understated yet luminous, the kind of finish that catches the light in the most flattering way.
The golden metal applicator adds to the experience, gliding across the lips with a cooling touch that feels indulgent. The balm settles almost instantly into a silky smoothness that makes lips feel soft and cared for. It is the kind of sleek, elegant product you want to keep on hand not just for the look of the tube, but for the way your lips seem to grow softer with every application.
Le Chouchou is beauty multitasking at its finest. The formula gently exfoliates like the softest peel, restores moisture like an overnight mask, and finishes with the reflective sheen of a high-shine gloss. The balm cushions lips in lasting hydration and washes them in a touch of color, comfortable, wearable, and endlessly chic. I am already planning to try more, if not all.

I love that the packaging is recyclable. The scent is divine but never overpowering. Le Chouchou is proof that everyday essentials can and should feel extraordinary.
Bought the set of balms which have been a consistently well reviewed product. I kept the Bissap Glaze shade for myself but plan to gift the rest to friends. The packaging is beautiful, subtle and well crafted - perfect for all!
This is such a good loo balm because it’s hydrating without feeling sticky or too thick. It has a slightly glossy finish but it doesn’t feel annoying at all. It gives off a slightly glossy finish tint but you can add more layers if you want bolder color
My first purchase from this company happened to be a limited release and i had no idea, I'd be hooked from the start. I got both croissant au beurre and pain au chocolat because I could not decide. The scent of these balms are so delicious and addictive. The applicator is by far my favorite of any balms i've tried, it glides over my lips smoothly, spreading the product evenly and seamless. No mess, no overuse of product and zero sticky mess.
My lips feel hydrated, no caked up white sticky mess after wearing it for a while and the sparkles make my lips POP! Shipping was a little behind because they sold so quickly but the customer service was very helpful and informative with reassurance that my package was still in route. I have my eye on a few other products but as of now I'm loving the balms and look forward to exploring the rest of their products.
I am so incredibly impressed by EADEM and the Le Chouchou Exfoliating + Softening Peptide Lip Balm in Croissant Au Beurre. It lives up to all of the hype that you have heard. Everything from the applicator tip to the amount of product dispensed. The subsequent softness and moisture provided was strong enough to help these flaky lips. I highly recommend this product! I have already purchased it in a second shade!
From my wife: I’m guilty of overpurchasing lip products… I have so much hope for them, and 90% of the time, I’m disappointed. I am a pretty low maintenance gal and I don’t like having to constantly reapply or fuss with whatever products I have on. You can find so many good reviews on various lip products, but I have to say that I was truly blown away by the Le Chouchou Lip Softening Balm. It not only makes your lips glossy and colored, but it actually hydrates and softens your lips, and makes them look amazing… it actually does what it promises to do. And it takes hours before another reapplication is required. I’ve read a number of complaints regarding the applicator for this product breaking, but this hasn’t happened to me yet. Buy this. It’s the best lip products I’ve ever tried, and if I could only use one, this would be. (Let’s hope Eadem can come out with an SPF version too!)
I ordered three shades: boba bounce, bissap glaze, and the limited edition pain au chocolat for some new fall lippie shades. I’ve been using these for about a week now and they’re so pretty on! I love that they make my lips look “blurred” and the formula doesn’t settle into the lines on my lips and instead almost glazes over my lips to make them look smooth and shiny. They also have really good color pay off and aren’t just a “tint.” They do have exfoliating properties so I wouldn’t wear this daily or a lot during the day. But my lips already do feel smoother after wearing these!
My new favorite lip product! I ordered the Pain Au Chocolate lip softening balm and it smells heavenly! It smells like chocolate. The applicator is so nice and it makes it feel like a very high end product. A little goes a long way. I definitely recommend this product.
The products, the packaging, and the branding definitely give ~luxury~ products (for not a super high price point). I tried their Lip Softening balm, which seems to have a LOT of hype, but it wasn't what I was expecting...the product is great, but I prefer the formulas from Summer Fridays or Laneige (if you want a glossy product). The balm collected on my lips in an odd way after some wear...which is apparently normal? I do think it softens my lips, but I prefer a glossier finish.
I got the lip balm in the butter mochi (unscented/unflavored) and boba bounce. The product packaging is substantial and feels luxurious. The product itself has a smooth application and leaves lips feeling glossy but not excessively sticky. I noticed that over time my lips do feel softer with use. One note is that the pigmentation of the colored balms is much less sheer than I expected. The boba bounce looks more like lipstick with my complexion. Still beautiful but not what I expected!
Eadem is one of those beauty brands that feels different right away. They focus on science and inclusivity, and everything in their line has this sense of thoughtfulness behind it. It’s like science meets luxe.
I tried their viral Le Chouchou Lip Balm. What makes the Le Choucou Lip Balm stand out from others in this space is that it’s more than just a balm. It softens lips and makes em pretty and glossy (duh), but it also gently exfoliates with enzymes and AHA, so it’s treating dryness while giving you color and shine (bear with me, a two in one that actually works!).
The packaging DESERVES attention!! At this price point, most lip balms feel pretty basic (plastic tube, maybe you get a soft silicone applicator maybe not), but Eadem went luxe(!!). The tube comes in silver (with some limited editions in gold) and each one has a heavy metal applicator tip. It feels cool, weighted, and instantly more elevated than anything else in my lip drawer. Love how the applicator feels on my lips.
I tried two shades: Butter Mochi and Guava Fresca.
Butter Mochi is clear and unscented, the kind of shade you can always reach for without thinking.
Guava Fresca is where things get really fun. It’s a hazy petal pink that manages to be both dusty and fruity, and the color payoff is impressive. You can wear it sheer with one swipe or layer it for a stronger look. The scent is tropical guava, which makes me think of a smoothie on vacation, nice and sweet and refreshing and juicy.
The formula for the lip softening balms is thick and comforting. It doesn’t slide around or feel greasy like petroleum, but it also doesn’t disappear right away. It has weight to it in a way that feels protective, while still leaving a glossy finish that looks polished.
Overall, I genuinely think Le Chouchou is a standout. It combines pigment, treatment, and luxury packaging all in one, which is rare for a $24 lip balm. I’m already hoping they expand the shade range, and I definitely want to try more from Eadem’s lineup after this. They’ve really impressed me with this one.
Genuinely one of the best lip balms I have tried! The applicator is also really nice and cooling. I keep one in my purse always. The clear is nice and juicy and I recently picked up the color Guava Fresca and it’s perfect for summer!
