I am a fan of a unique scented candle and fell in love with the Dream Lychee scent when I smelled it at the store. Luckily, a few months later I was able to snag it at a great discount through their online sample sale. The candle smells great, packaging is cute, and it frequently gets complimented when people come to my home!

DS and Durga fragrances are very interesting. I have tried a few and have "Pistachio" and "I don't know what". Their fragrances are particularly unique and unexpected. They have long wear time and noticeable projection and sillage.

I purchased the customized sample set from D.S. & Durga which included sample sizes of 4 scents: Cognac Reign, I Don’t Know What, Bowmakers, and Sweet Do Nothing. I loved that the site offered a personalized test and recommended specific scents based on my results. All four scents are lovely and hearty, but in particular I LOVE the Cognac Reign and Bowmakers. Both scents are very robust and autumnal. Neither had the longest wear time for me, but that may just be that I’m working with sample sizes and being stingy with my sprays. Overall, I’m very impressed with the brand thus far

I smelled Crush Balls scent in-store and was instantly obsessed—had to have it right away! It’s fresh, sporty, and just the right mix of clean and bold. There’s something addictive about it—like a crisp citrusy vibe with a cool twist that really stands out. Perfect for everyday wear but still unique enough to turn heads. If you're into energetic, modern scents, this one is a must-try.

I love the fresh, clean smell that sidewalks have after it rains, so I was really excited to experience D.S. & Durga's Concrete After Lightning. It doesn't disappoint! I'm looking forward to giving the car air fresheners as stocking stuffers. I'm also so glad I got the sample set - the scents are unique and hard to pin down, so being able to try them for less than the price of a full candle or perfume bottle is appreciated.

I had been looking for a quality scent for myself for a long time and couldn’t settle on anything for long. Scents are so challenging because they are incredibly personal and change according to each person’s skin. When I discovered DS DURGA I was hooked. I’ve been buying their fragrances for years now; for myself and as gifts for friends and family. I like to layer their scents and they give great recommendations online. They also just have an incredible aesthetic and even have music playlists to go with each fragrance to give you a sense of the *vibes*. Enjoy!

I went to the Nolita location and the store staff were so lovely and very knowledgeable about each scent. I told them what I liked in a scent, and the first one they picked for me I immediately fell in love with! Then they gave me some similar options which were also wonderful. I tried (and loved) Coriander which lasted surprisingly well and smelled AMAZING throughout the day. Will definitely be going back!

I love this brand. They make outstanding fragrances in perfume, candle, and care air fresheners. I love their notorious oud perfume and plan on buying a full sized bottle. El cosmico, cowboy grass, and debaser are really good too. The Big sur after rain and parquet leather candles make my day any day I light them. The limited edition pacific mythic was pretty fun too. I save the glass jars and use them for various purposes after I finish the candle. The car fresheners are pretty incredible too. I love the 85 diesel, big sur after rain, and portable fireplace are standouts. The soap and hand cream were a little lacking given the price point. I feel like I made a very expensive mistake. The website design is super cool and I love how much the principals love music.

Went to the soho (nyc) location. Omg so beautiful. The smells transport you. My only issue is that the smell fades away pretty quickly.

I 've used "I Don't Know What" EdP for over a year now and still love it. I am also so impressed by a lot of other DS & Durga products; the auto fragrances maybe the most positive surprise of them all! They last for 4+ months minimum each. The absolute best thing about them is the very unexpected branding. Pasta water, pistachio, and all the new fragrances coming out look amazing.

Every scent is incredible. This quirky brand has bizarre fragrance names and descriptions (each fragrance also has its own playlist!) but somehow every scent truly does tell the exact story that the brand has written for it. The cologne I buy for my husband is called Burning Barbershop and the description is: “A fire broke out in the Curling Bros. barbershop in Westlake, N.Y. in 1891. All the shaving tonics with their spearmint, lime, vanilla and lavender burned. A charred bottle was found half-full. It smelled like this.” As bizarre as the description sounds when you spray the cologne it really feels like you have been transported to that barbershop and picked the bottle out of the ashes yourself.

I had been eyeing the I Don't Know What scent for months and months before I finally broke down and bought it. I had worn Le Labo's Santal 33 for years and when my last bottle ran out I was so over it and wanted to try D.S. & Durga but as a creature of habit, it took me a bit to finally bite the bullet. So glad I did. I Don't Know What is a much more lowkey scent than Santal in that people always compliment it but it isn't trendy in the same way. The scent lasts all day and I love having the bottle on my counter– it just has this je ne sais quoi, ya know? ;)

EVERYTHING about D.S. & Durga is on point. Original, creative and playful branding? Check. Unique scents that people will stop you to ask about? Check. Long lasting perfume that plays well with body chemistry? Check. Seriously, my personal scent hasn't got this much attention since Santal 33 first dropped. Packaging also thought-out exceptionally well. Really gives you a satisfying feeling when cracking open a new scent, like an Apple product. Also it's all recyclable and shipping materials are biodegradable. Just yes. If I have to pick, "I don't know what" would my go-to D.S. scent but I also picked up a package of the car air fresheners/ fragrances. At first they are a overwhelming. Super strong. But man oh man do they last. Two months later and my car still smells like "concrete after lightning"

Fragrances are hit or miss. I love “I don’t know what” because it is a woodsy clean scent that layers well with a lot in my collection. I recently got Rose Atlantic but I don’t love it. I would definitely recommend sampling!

I’m obsessed with this perfume! It is the perfect spicy sensual scent! It feels more mature than most of the other scents in my collection and I love that I haven’t smelled it everywhere I go like many other scents around.

I was out walking and stopped someone up ahead of me to ask what they were wearing and they told me it was I Don't Know What. I immediately bought it and it's my go-to perfume now. Strong enough to wear on its own and I love layering it with other perfumes as well.

'i dont know what' is my signature scent. every time i wear it i get stopped in my tracks by at-least one person. if i had a million dollars i would spend it all on the entire d.s. & durga collection

I have purchased candles for myself and as gifts for friends. Really love this company and the unique and cool scents they have. My cousin sent me a video of his unboxing and it was a high quality wrapping. 10/10 recommend.

This brand one of the hottest niche perfume houses and I’m a new stan. The only reason I’m not giving a full 5 stars is because the projection and longevity are not what I’d hope for at the price point. Projection is subjective and some people don’t want everyone on the street to smell them (I do). However I feel like most people would agree longevity is more important. Regardless, everything this brand is doing is IT for me and good enough to make me look past what I don’t like and just overspray the hell out of myself. I own Steamed Rainbow and Debaser and put I Don’t Know What on my Christmas list 🎄 The bottles are GORGEOUS and sleek and look great in my growing collection. Steamed Rainbow couldn’t be more aptly named. It smells humid, wet, and colorful. I love that the notes are in ROYGBIV order. I do have to squish the holographic sticker label back down a lot as it likes to lift up do to its holo nature. As for Debaser, don’t let the coconut note turn you away if you are not a coconut girly, which is not a note I go for ever. It’s not a synthetic coconut and honestly my nose doesn’t detect anything of the nature. She’s floral, green, and bright. Love her and def going to be reaching for her all summer.

Artful perfumes, mostly real-world smells (but impressionistic) with a few complete fantasy/fictional fragrances. A lot of releases in the past year or so with a solid “core roster” of staples. Generally, I find their fragrances beautiful but not as…performant(?) as others in my collection. I guess nice-smelling things are worth having regardless. I like these fragrances more each time I try them. I’d suggest sampling a few times to properly evaluate. My current favourites are: • El Cosmico—dry, almost pine-like desert scent; • Bistro Waters—green, savoury, fresh; • Bowmakers—woody, spicy but not overwhelming; • Debaser—creamy fig with some wood
