I love this brand. They make outstanding fragrances in perfume, candle, and care air fresheners. I love their notorious oud perfume and plan on buying a full sized bottle. El cosmico, cowboy grass, and debaser are really good too. The Big sur after rain and parquet leather candles make my day any day I light them. The limited edition pacific mythic was pretty fun too. I save the glass jars and use them for various purposes after I finish the candle.   The car fresheners are pretty incredible too. I love the 85 diesel, big sur after rain, and portable fireplace are standouts. 
The soap and hand cream were a little lacking given the price point. I feel like I made a very expensive mistake. 
The website design is super cool and I love how much the principals love music. 

Excellent smells and excellent customer service. I particularly like Durga, Cowboy Grass, and Rose Atlantic. They also make air fresheners and car smells, which is quite creative.

Try the "I don't Know What" scent and get back to me. I am a firm believer that everyone needs to smell this divine fragrance (and as a bonus: it smells different on everyone).

In a love/hate relationship with this brand. I fell in love with their beautiful branding and photography but been very let down by most of their actual scents. The scents I do love are

I Don't Know What: perfect "your skin but better" scent and their body wash and lotion are very heavily scented and stick to my skin after bathing which is ideal for me for perfumed bodycare.

Jasmín Yucatan: Kind of biased since I love everything jasmine, I could wear just jasmine essential oil and be a happy girl. This is a very watery, light, candy-like jasmine. Totally immersive scent.

Pistachio: I have no idea how anyone could say isn't a gourmand scent, it smells like straight up pistachio gelato to me 🤷🏾‍♀️. Love it.

I absolutely adore the DS&Durga products. Their sample packs are a great deal and they have a wide range of scents. I personally like Debaser and the roll on of I Don’t Know What

I was out walking and stopped someone up ahead of me to ask what they were wearing and they told me it was I Don't Know What. I immediately bought it and it's my go-to perfume now. Strong enough to wear on its own and I love layering it with other perfumes as well.

This brand one of the hottest niche perfume houses and I’m a new stan. The only reason I’m not giving a full 5 stars is because the projection and longevity are not what I’d hope for at the price point. Projection is subjective and some people don’t want everyone on the street to smell them (I do). However I feel like most people would agree longevity is more important. 

Regardless, everything this brand is doing is IT for me and good enough to make me look past what I don’t like and just overspray the hell out of myself. I own Steamed Rainbow and Debaser and put I Don’t Know What on my Christmas list 🎄 The bottles are GORGEOUS and sleek and look great in my growing collection. 

Steamed Rainbow couldn’t be more aptly named. It smells humid, wet, and colorful. I love that the notes are in ROYGBIV order. I do have to squish the holographic sticker label back down a lot as it likes to lift up do to its holo nature. 

As for Debaser, don’t let the coconut note turn you away if you are not a coconut girly, which is not a note I go for ever. It’s not a synthetic coconut and honestly my nose doesn’t detect anything of the nature. She’s floral, green, and bright. Love her and def going to be reaching for her all summer. 

I went to the Nolita location and the store staff were so lovely and very knowledgeable about each scent. I told them what I liked in a scent, and the first one they picked for me I immediately fell in love with! Then they gave me some similar options which were also wonderful. I tried (and loved) Coriander which lasted surprisingly well and smelled AMAZING throughout the day. Will definitely be going back! 

When I first discovered this brand I was won over by their cool website and marketing - as a copywriter, I love their play on words and humourous approach.

Branding aside, unless I'm able to smell the scents at a physical store first, I'm hesistant to order a perfume directly online and sadly, not so many places where I live have physical bottles. I did however end up ordering the 'Holy Ficus' candle. The smell is super nice and cosy for my home but the burning time really doesn't last as long as I would have liked. I have candles from H&M home that have lasted longer.
