doublesoul wins praise in reviews for ultra-comfortable, breathable socks with cushioned footbeds, seamless toes, and vibrant, well-edited colors, but the brand divides shoppers on durability and performance. Many report pilling, thinning, and calf-tight crews, plus mixed feedback on athletic use and inconsistent sizing, while others say pairs hold up after many washes and stay put with helpful heel tabs; repeated complaints cite delayed or incomplete orders and poor communication.

Great colors and the perfect choice for training.

Fun colors! They pill pretty quickly and are not as thick as bombas, my preferred sock. I don’t think I would purchase again just because I love bombas so much.

I like these socks, the exta thickness in the heel and toes is nice, and I liked the color combos.

The logos kind of large on the sock

I really like these socks! I have very small women's size 6 feet and was surprised at how well the size I fit. They stay fitted to my feet and don't slide around and there is a bit of cushion that makes them very comfortable. I have worn the low socks during HITT workouts and can confirm they are breathable and I didn't find them to get super sweaty.

I have found that after just the first wash these socks will pill. I get the sense that they probably won't last too long.

At first touch you can already tell the quality of these socks, they are so soft and cushiony, I was excited to wear them. They are very comfortable and I loved the muted colors. It definitely is an upgrade from other socks and I feel like they belong in the same level as Bombas socks.

I will say, that the only thing that I noticed was that after the first wash, you could see the elastic tearing. I noticed this, especially on the inside of the sock. It's not something that's bothering me or has taken away from the quality of these socks at the moment but I do think that the socks won't last as long as I originally thought.

I am loving these socks!! I had originally gotten the Thingdrop, but something went wrong with Fedex and I didn't receive them, and their customer service was so great and immediately gave me a code to replace... so I got the added bonus of picking my colors! I got a 6 pack in black white and grey and they are my new favorite socks. They're super cozy, almost feel slipper soft, and the logo makes them look kinda trendy which is always a bonus. They also have sort of this light slightly open weave around the arch of the foot that makes them not too warm in my winter boots. I personally wouldn't go for all the bright colors, but the classics are just elevated enough and just soft enough for me to be willing to pay a little extra! As a person who loves to receive socks as a gift, I think these would be exciting to receive!

The only thing I would change is the price point... socks these days are getting increasingly expensive, so they're not entirely out of Bombas style luxury sock range, but at $61 for a 6 pack, I'll be hanging on to these until I wear them into the ground. For me that cost would make them my special treat socks and not my, "stock up my drawer" socks, so I feel lucky to have scored some at the ThingDrop rate!

These are nice! They’re soft and I like the cushioning and the breathable top. I usually wear Smartwool socks or random socks from Target 😆 and these are a nice change. I agree with a couple of things others have said: size up (mostly for the crew length socks) and the price (without the Thingtesting discount) is slightly high. That being said, they’re comfy and I’d definitely buy some more especially if they were able to lower the price of the multi packs a bit more.

The only reason I am not giving a 5/5 is the price. I think at around $11 per pair of high sock, $9 per ankle sock, the value is good not great. Compared to Darn Tough socks for example, the Doublesoul are a bit lacking in substance and well, toughness in my opinion. The top of the foot is a bit thinner compared to the rest of the sock and while I think this is nice for breathability and different from any other sock I've had, I do worry about durability in general. Hopefully I'm wrong and they'll last through many laundry cycles! Other notes: the colors are fun! I don't like the branding being so large. And they are a really good fit; they don't slip, even the ankle socks. The sustainability message is great, but I haven't looked into the credibility of that and I didn't really see any specifics.

Tone down the branding - the logo is obnoxious imo.
I really liked the colors and the thickness of the socks. I sized up, but still fell the socks were tight. That could be a personal preference issue though.
I love these socks! I like the simple design and solid colors. They are definitely more of an athletic style and remind me of Nike/Under Armour socks. They are thicker on the bottom and were pretty warm. I wouldn't say they are super soft compared to other socks I have but they're great quality.

They are fairly pricey but I understand that for the quality and production, that's a typical price. However, it might be nice to see lower prices in the future. I also had some issues with shipping which was probably a combination of holiday shopping and carrier miscommunication. It took 20+ days for my socks to arrive and my tracking number never worked so I thought the package was lost for at least a week. I also received an email saying the package arrived one day but it actually hadn't so that was confusing. But it all worked out in the end!
It's great that these are made from recycled materials and ethical production, and they are indeed comfortable. However, I would definitely not have gotten them without the heavy Thingdrop discount, since these are quite pricey and just not worth so much for what are still just socks. Also, after a few washes, the colors aren't as vibrant. The logo also makes them look a bit more on the sporty side, if that's the look you don't mind with your outfits.
Love the colors and thickness of the sole part of the socks. They’re made with cotton so not ideal for exercising but they’re nice for just lounging around the house or running errands.

My only feedback is that the white elastic showed through on the colored (green) version of the high rise socks, which made them look not very nice.

Very satisfied with these socks! I really like the thickness and have been reaching for them ever since they arrived. I also like the colors - fun but still neutral enough for every day.
I got these during a Thingdrop and have really loved them! They are for sure my new favorite and go-to sock. They for sure provide way more support and cushion, without feeling too thick or bulky. I am between and 8 and 8.5, and sized up, and they fit great on me!! I can tell a difference, and it's my go-to sock I grab. Love the fun color scheme as well!!

It is pricy. However, it seems price comparable to Bombas - and I can see why people would pay more for a much more durable and high-quality sock. You can tell it is higher end, and if socks are an important purchase for you- it seems like these will stand the test of time, and seem cheaper in price than Bombas.

I have really enjoyed these socks so far. The sizing is accurate for me and the materials are high quality, soft, and the extra padding for the bottom of the foot is great. The colors are clean and what was sent was a nice variety. I received these during the ThingTesting drop, but will definitely be ordering more down the road.
These socks are super high quality and comfortable but not too thick. The colors are great too and it fits just right!

I like the feel of the material of these socks a lot. The stretchiness factor is just right! I also appreciate the brand's commitment to sustainable materials and ethical production. Sizing did not work great for me, though.
Feedback
These seem to run very small. I got the size that they recommend for my shoe size and the ankle were too tight and the heel feels too short. I also have narrow feet so I imagine it would be even more of an issue for someone with wider ones.

I bought these on a whim and thought, how good could these socks be? They are so great! I normally feel the ground and absorb blows in my cross-fit shoes, but with these socks, it is much more comfortable to work out. I also like how the packaging is minimal and doesn't have annoying tags.
I love these socks! I'm a big Bombas fan and these are a really close second. They are simple, soft, and seem to hold up really well.
