Crown Affair earns largely positive reviews as a luxe, effective haircare brand with standout tools and treatments—especially The Towel, The Oil, the Leave-In Conditioner, Dry Shampoo powder, and boar-bristle brushes—while criticisms focus on strong fragrance for some, inconsistent results with certain formulas (e.g., mousse, dry shampoo for oily hair), and high prices. Reviews cite elevated packaging, thoughtful design, and long-lasting products, but note occasional issues like messy dry-shampoo packaging, brush cleaning, scent intensity, and a few durability concerns.

I bought the towel and it's fantastic - the material is high quality, it's large which should work for both short and long hair, and the band to tuck is easy to use. Would love to see it come in more colors.

Nothing so far.
I bought my boyfriend some curl cream from Sephora from Crown Affair. His hair is frizzy and I wanted to see if we would define his curls a bit more. The packaging is gorgeous and the product really did work for his hair! A bit expensive but if you want a nice curl defining cream, I would recommend. He has thick Italian hair!
Looooooooove this dry shampoo. I love the brush that comes with it, and it's easy to dab on my hair line. I love that you can refill the packaging and throw away less. The scent is nice, it's a bit floral and I prefer an Aveda via, but I don't mind the smell. It doesn't white cast in my hair. I would purchase again.
I have loved every Crown Affair product I have tried - and I have tried a lot! For someone who has fine hair that needs product but can’t be weighed down, I can use their products and layer without my hair feeling heavy. My hair loves their Oil and it doesn’t make my hair feel oily, just hydrated. Their leave in conditioner also helps keep my hair hydrated. I’ve gotten so many compliments on how soft my hair is after I use their masks, and they are the only hair masks I look forward to using in the shower. Their dry shampoo turned me off aerosols and their air dry mousse is unlike other products. I have not needed to repurchase in 6 months and I use them frequently, so I find they are worth the money. Definitely recommend if you have fine hair!
The Air Dry mousse is incredible. I use it both to air dry and when I blow dry and it helps create incredible volume. I also love the volumizing shampoo and conditioner. The scent is great and the twist top is super easy to use and not fussy.
The best smelling products that also work incredibly well! I have their leave in conditioner, dry shampoo, hair towel, hairbrush, and comb. Really love them all and will definitely be repurchasing at least the leave in conditioner.

I held out too long to try these products and dipped my feet in with just the dry shampoo at first, but relatively quickly expanded to the full product range. Love the smell and especially knowing the ingredients are clean and phthalate-free. Showering feels like such a lovely sensorial experience with this product range. The mousse is absolutely unlike any hair product I’ve ever tried - my hair loves it. Wish there were smaller, travel-friendly versions
Best microfiber towel I’ve used, it dries my hair better and faster and stays put on my head much easier with the elastic band instead of the button. I have extremely thick and heavy hair so I’m a crown affair towel girl for life.
I love this leave in conditioner from Crown. My hair is very dry and just plain old conditioner isn't enough, so I needed to add something more and this really made the difference on how my hair feels and looks. It is very soft and shiny now. It's lightweight and I only needed a small amount, and the texture is pretty amazing. I don't smell a scent.
The crown affair products make me feel rich rich – the scent is so elegant and makes me want to buy their signature scent that they recently came out with. I use their leave-in conditioner post shower and also as a refresh boost; it's super lightweight and I will definitely be re-stocking. I also have their dry shampoo which I also love, it works super well and also has a nice applicator brush for the powder, making it a really travel friendly product. I have the boar bristle brush as a well which I only use when I straighten or blow dry my hair, but it leaves it feeling so silky and tamed. The leave-in conditioner comes in a glass bottle with a pump, which I intend on re-using. The weight of the bottle and super chic design definitely adds to the lux quality. The price point is definitely higher than I would normally be comfortable spending so I try my best to purchase during sales, but it's also worth budgeting for.
I am obsessed with their Dry Shampoo Powder and am already on my second container. I love the formula and the way it helps my hair from looking greasy. The packaging is very stylish and easy to use with a brush allowing you precision as opposed to other non-aerosols that use a puff bottle. The method is a better alternative than aerosol dry shampoos. Another benefit of the powder than aerosols is the lack of smell or harsh chemical feeling. I can't wait to try more items from this company!
I recently purchased their Brunch No. 1 during Sephora’s Beauty Insider sale. I have fine, tangly, longish hair that is super fragile. This brush feels amazing and I’m seeing less hair loss.
I found the products I used (shampoo and hair mask) did what they promised to do, but I can’t get around the cult hype of the brand. The salt scrub shampoo was great for removing residue on my scalp (great weekly cleanse).

I think it’s the Glossier-style marketing that’s a turn off for me.
I love everything about what Diana Cohen is doing here. I have the brush, hair oil and towel and truly cannot live without them now.
I am excited to try the new shampoo & conditioner line from Crown Affair! I have loved every product I’ve used so far. The dry shampoo is innovative and smells delicious! The leave in conditioner leaves my hair soft without weighing it down. I have been eyeing the brush, although extremely pricey for a hairbrush!
My daughter has 2a/3b hair and loves the leave in conditioner. We like that it isn’t too heavy and the smell is lovely. Her curl definition is great. Price point is decent and we will look to try other products.
This brand has beautiful products and the scents are gorgeous. I think product performance is great throughout their original line, shampoo, conditioner and gel, but their air dry mouse doesn’t work on my thin curly hair. I also really like to formula of their dry shampoo but the packaging gets so messy it’s hard to use and travel with. I also need to use additional shampoos and conditions for a deeper clean or more intense condition with silicones

Love the hair clips. They are high quality and so far have lasted me a year with nearly everyday use. A major upgrade from the cheap alternatives that end of breaking. Worth the money.
Okay soooo I will say this product smells amazing and the packaging and presentation is very luxurious! However, I'm not really sure it does much in terms of actually being a good dry shampoo. My hair runs oily. I used this on day 2 and after about 2 applications w the brush there was virtually no difference. I also have dark hair and I feel like it made my scalp look... flaky lolol. Don't know if I would repurchase, esp at this price point!
The packaging is just perfect! Just perfect for Xmas presents around the corner and the towel helps your hair dry faster without any damage and the hair oil smell amazing!!!
