Is Boy Smells good? Reviews indicate that Boy Smells offers luxurious and unique scents which many users find delightful, making them a worthwhile purchase. A notable strength is the brand's unique and luxurious scents, which many reviewers praise highly. However, a common weakness mentioned is the high price, which some users feel is not justified by the burn time. Overall, Boy Smells is a strong choice for those seeking distinctive and high-quality fragrances, but potential buyers should consider their budget versus the candle's longevity.

Got the LES peach blossom candle. Smell is on point, sweet and floral. The packaging is so chic and cute too. Want to try to banana pudding scent!
Boy Smells makes some of the best-smelling candles and personal fragrances out there—full stop. Their scents are rich, complex, unexpected, and genuinely memorable, which is rare in a market full of generic and simple unremarkable brands. But the rebrand feels like a massive misstep: it leans way too hard into Gen Z internet-speak, and the copywriting went from clever to cringey overnight. What used to feel bold and subversive now feels like it’s trying too hard to be in on the latest trend… 2 years after it ends. I don’t know I’m going to keep buying the product because, while still good, they lost their voice and identity.
I’m in love with Boy Smells candles—the scents are unique, rich, and fill the room without being overpowering. My favorite is “Hinoki Fantôme,” it’s cozy and luxurious. Total vibe in a jar! Highly recommended 👌

Ambrosia wasn’t my favorite scent from Boy Smells, but the brand overall is really solid and this is a great candle. The scent is super rich and sweet (which is not really my thing) but the packaging is beautiful, it burns really nicely, and it lasts a long time. It also looks great on a shelf!

The actual burn time of these candles is nothing to write home about, but the visual aesthetic and various scents are why I keep coming back. Also, I love the name. Because, let's be honest, boys do smell.
I just lit up my new Boy Smells Kush candle, and let me tell you—it's pure magic in a jar. The earthy yet slightly floral aroma instantly transforms any room into a cozy sanctuary, making it perfect for unwinding after a long day. Whether I'm soaking in the tub or curling up with a good book, this scent is my go-to for setting the ultimate mood. If you're looking to elevate your self-care routine or simply want your space to smell divine, you've got to try this out! Trust me, it's worth every inhale. 💚🕯
I recently purchased their lavender scent candle and wow, it is amazing. It smells so luxurious and elevated that we only use it on very special occasions. The packaging and branding of it is very nice as well.
Boy Smells offers bold, gender-inclusive fragrances like Violet Ends, blending unexpected notes for a memorable experience. The brand’s commitment to inclusivity is refreshing, and their new scents like Rosy Cheeks are trendy, though some long-time fans miss the original vibe. Overall, Boy Smells is perfect for those seeking unique, statement-making scents!!
I’m a fan of good scents and candles, but I usually stick to buying discounted ones. Whenever I’ve splurged on a pricier candle in the past, it never felt worth the extra cost compared to a random find from Marshalls. But then I gave Boy Smells Hinoki Fantome a try, and wow, it’s on a whole different level! The scent is amazing—it fills my open-concept living and dining room perfectly, whether I’m burning it or using a candle warmer. I usually go for soy-based candles, but this blend of coconut and soy wax really makes a difference. The fragrance travels farther and lingers more than my usual picks. The scent itself is lightly sweet, earthy, and definitely not overpowering—when I first smelled it, I wasn’t sure, but once it started burning, it became subtle and really complex. I’ll definitely be buying this one again—I'm officially hooked!
If you’re looking for luxurious, bold scents and comfortable pieces that don’t conform to traditional gender norms, Boy Smells is definitely a brand you should check out. Their inclusive approach, paired with quality and attention to detail, makes them a standout in the world of fragrance and self-care.
i love the packaging and how cute these candles look in your room. they smell really good but they don't last that long which is a little frustrating for such pricey candles. overall i did like it though
I recently got one of their lavender candles and oh my God it smells so good. It literally smells so luxurious and expensive and the burn is really nice. I like saving it for special occasions because the smell is so good.
Boy Smells candles are amazing. I love the slow burn candle. The scents always fill the room but aren’t overbearing. The candles itself is a cute design and they’re really good quality. They do burn slow and last long. Overall I’m happy with my purchase. They aren’t cheap but they are quality and also make a great gift.

I received this as a gift and am glad I tried it. Didn’t think I’d be a candle person but it looked and smelled good for sure.

It’s a kash-miracle with the smell I love all their candles but this is my absolute favorite, it reminds me of sex and the city season two, it’s the perfect description of the smell, especially being in New York

Love the concept—non girly scented products. I appreciate their innovation but in the end I didn’t love the actually scents of the products.

I love the brand and the mission of gender-less! Honestly I'm a bit sensitive to smells so I weirdly just keep the candle on my nightstand and it's fragrant enough for me without lighting it. I have been gifted a couple of their candles and then I bought the Kacey Musgraves collab and I found that one a bit too overpowering. If you like strong scents, this would be a perfect candle for you because they do have really yummy smells. Just keep that in mind that it's powerful!

The most expensive candle you can buy that is actually worth the money. When I burn a Boy Smells candle it tends to last me 2-3 months. The smells are rich and complex. They have spring-like notes but smell great and not at all like a bath and bodyworks 'sweet' smell. LES and Petal are my favorites!
