Reviews mention

  • Distinctive botanical flavor combinations
  • Refreshing, crisp drinking experience
  • Eye-catching, artistic packaging
  • Clean, zero-calorie formulation
  • Occasionally perfumey, medicinal taste
  • Inconsistent flavor intensity execution
  • Herb-forward, unbalanced profiles
  • Subtle, faint flavor notes

Aura Bora earns polarized reviews: the brand’s inventive herbal–fruit seltzers (Cactus Rose, Lavender Cucumber, Ginger Meyer Lemon, Peppermint Watermelon, Lime Cardamom) delight many with refreshing, crisp profiles and eye-catching cans, but others find flavors perfumey, basil- or herb-forward, or too faint, and note inconsistent execution. Reviews suggest it can be a standout mixer or soda alternative if you enjoy botanical notes, yet flavor balance and intensity vary widely across SKUs.

  • I did not like this at all. The strawberry basil flavor was so light it was not enjoyable. I can enjoy plain sparkling water, however this was is not something I would drink again.

  • Super yummy - definitely more flavorful than a traditional sparkling water. Some of the flavors can be a little hit or miss, but the ones that are good are really good. The cactus rose and lavender cucumber in particular are super tasty. I don't know if these are necessarily a standout over other sparkling water options, but definitely a solid option - good flavor & cute branding.

  • I am just not crazy about these, they just were not for me at all. I thought the flavor tasted off, almost like it had gone bad. That might just be me, but I will not be purchasing again, unfortunately.

  • Overall a great soda alternative, I wish it was slightly sweeter but that is a personal preference. I find it to be good as a non-alcoholic replacement beverage for nights out!

  • these are just ok, I have only had two flavors but I did not love them and I feel like they lose the fizz quickly

  • I had pretty high hopes for this, factoring in the price and the ingredient list, but found that it wasn't as likable as I thought... The lack of any sweetness is great, but I personally only enjoyed that feature in the Ginger Lemon flavor. Everything else tasted medicinal/herbal, but not even like an herbal tea. I have seen some flavors online that may be better, but the ones I tested weren't something I would go out of my way to purchase again.

  • I was excited to try these drinks because the cans look so cute, the flavors sounded delicious, and the ingredient list doesn’t include any artificial sweeteners or preservatives. However, the strawberry basil flavor was sadly unpleasant. I gave the lemon ginger flavor a try and I have to say this one redeemed the seltzer a bit for me. I’ll have to try another flavor but in general, $10+ for a 6-pack isn’t a sustainable purchase I can be making and I will be opting for Spindrift or the like instead.

  • As much as I loved the idea of this product, I did not like the taste and could not finish it.

  • The artwork for each Aura Bora can flavor is the best!! The marketing can be a bit out there especially if you are subscribed to their newsletters/ emails. I love how they release new flavors and hype them up with smart marketing catered toward millennials. My favorite flavor that no other brand makes this perfect is lavender cucumber. And, yes, I absolutely get sucked into each marketing campaign and have tried almost every flavor except the too limited releases like green bean casserole.

  • I'm a really big fan of their flavors, particularly Cactus Rose and Basil Berry. The can is also so beautiful. The downside is that it errs pricey! I try to purchase them when they happen to go on sale at my local grocery store.

  • I really like these! Super herbal, the fruit flavors add sweetness, but the herbs are the drivers of flavor. These have finer bubbles and aren’t overly carbonated. Lemongrass coconut and peppermint watermelon were my favorites of those I tried.

  • I've tried two flavors from Aura Bora, the Cactus Rose and the Lavender Cucumber. The Lavender Cucumber was okay, it served its purpose as a sparkling water with a hint of flavor, but unremarkable. I prefer the balance of flavor and bubbles in any generic grocery store brand more. But the Cactus Rose was undrinkable for me. The packaging is cute, but the flavor is intolerable for my palette.

    The flavor!

  • I tried the Cactus Rose. Not for me. I also didn't like the plastic wrap that the tin came in, making it difficult to recycle.

  • As a sparkling water lover, I was very excited to try this brand. I appreciate the unique flavor combinations. While I have enjoyed all of them, they are quite herbal in nature. If that is not your preference, these waters may not be for you.

  • I thought the strawberry basil one was good. It's a sparkling water, so don't go in expecting juice or anything. The flavor does show through though, and I love the different types of flavor combinations this brand has.

  • I really like Aura Bora. The flavors are super unique (Strawberry Basil!). They feel like super luxurious La Croix. Sometimes I use them in a cocktail with gin or vodka. Perfect for the summer, I can't wait to try all the flavors.

  • These carbonated waters have fruit and herb extracts no added sugars which is great. I’ve tried the strawberry basil, cucumber lavender, and raspberry vanilla. My favorite was the cucumber lavender and the raspberry vanilla. My local stores only sell cases of the cucumber lavender and strawberry basil, but I’ve been able to find single cans of the flavors at my local sprouts. I find these refreshing and tasty sometimes add stevia if I want something sweeter. I find this brand innovative I haven’t seen brands have herbal extract flavor combinations.

  • Sorry not a fan of any of these. Taste is not for me, but my friends love them.
