  • Versatile studio-to-street designs
  • Inconsistent sizing across styles
  • Leggings with low compression
  • Occasional pilling and stretching

Alo earns mixed reviews: the brand delivers chic, flattering athleisure that often feels luxuriously soft, durable, and wash‑resistant, but quality and fit prove inconsistent—especially with leggings—compared to Lululemon. Reviews praise standout tops, sweats, Airlift/Airbrush sets, and yoga mats for comfort and longevity, while recurring complaints cite pilling, stretching, limited compression, sizing discrepancies, and frequent frustration with customer service and exchanges.

  • I have really tried to buy into the Alo hype. I have a tank that I love and that is good quality. However, everything else I have tried feels cheap, thin, and like polyester. The leggings and bras don't hold up enough for high intensity workouts.

  • My go to for athleisure, and performance wear. They go beyond the basic, and have edgier, sexier styling with high quality textiles. I also bought and LOVE the essential oil diffuser and oils, as well as the magnesium spray. Alo is a leader in the athletic, health and wellness category.

  • Really love some pieces I have from them but others just do not have as great of quality for the price point! Wish quality was more consistent.

  • Alo yoga has the best hoodies, hands-down. Their Athleisure, specifically their jackets and "dess up" shirts are remarkable. They're mid-range in price, from my perspective, and the fabrics endure a lot of washing. Alo, despite me being petite, really knows how to shape crop tops, so they're my favorite, and have led me away from my lululemon addiction.

  • Generally I love the quality of Alo's products. They wash and wear well over time, however I am careful to only ever hang-dry my Alo clothes. The airlift pants are really comfortable as well!

  • return was slow and inattentive. Products are fair but not as enduring as lululemon.

  • I love Alo for their fashionable athleisure but feel it lacks in quality for actual gear to wear when working out. My favorite pieces from Alo are their outerwear and tops. Their leggings seem to have decreased in quality over the years and don't offer as many options compared to other brands.

  • Alo is trendy, but overpriced for the quality. It's a brand I'll look at if I can find it at a decent discount, but otherwise is a pass for me. The sizing is on the smaller side, but also doesn't seem 100% consistent since they have so many cuts and styles. I haven't bothered with any of the leggings (I tried on the moto ones once upon a time and they were uncomfortable and didn't fit well). I have a couple tops and sports bras from them. They all look cute, but overall the fabric has felt either too thin or too thick. They hold up ok, even for the thinner ones, but I'm always concerned with the longevity. That being said, it tends to look great on.

  • have so many different things love the dress and skirts have multiple one piece and two piece sets perfect for high impact and low impact workouts or just comfy

  • May be an unpopular opinion, but I prefer Alo to Lululemon. Alo's airbrush leggings are soft, comfortable, breathable, and the feel to me is so much more preferable than Lulu's slippery material. Alo is my go-to for daily comfort wear. I can't review for hardcore yoga enthusiasts, but I have worn them to CorePower classes and they're still great, stay up, and don't get me overheated in hot yoga classes. Only con is the length of the leggings is long for standard. I'm average height (5'4") and still have to opt for the 7/8 leggings because the standards are about 2 inches too long.

  • Love everything Alo puts out - their workout sets are so soft and don't pill as much as other brands. I can also run these thru the dryer without worrying if the leggings and tops will pill or get loose strings. Also love their line of body wash and moisturizer - it does a really good job making me feel clean without making my skin feel dry and stiff. Wish the price point was a little lower but it is worth the splurge knowing it will last.

  • Over priced bra and leggings. Customer support is slow.

Nice products not made in the USA and not eco friendly. Price is high so not sure it’s worth the design it claims. Nike does well with lower price point.

  • I didn't want to be **that girl** who obsesses over Alo but... here I am. I love the styles, fabrics, designs and quality of Alo pieces. They're versatile and chic; I can be comfortable and look put together; ready for a work day or a workout. Sometimes the fit is a little off, depending on the style, but I overall love how almost everythign at Alo fits and feels.

  • Like the design. Some cool looking pieces- not your normal yoga outfit.

The quality is not great, comparing to some other athleisure brands. Some sizing is off-runs large too.

  • I wanted to like Alo more than I did. It's not bad, but the materials aren't as soft and comfortable as competitors like Lulu. For the price (equivalent to Lulu), I don't see the value.

  • I’ve been on a health centered focus the last year and a half. I walk 3 times a week, if not more and in Arizona I need breathable and tough options. The other big athletic wear brand just isn’t my personal style. Sure they have black options but alo offers black options with styles, e.g. mesh, nice patterns. I have the airlift leggings, a long sleeve and a hoodie. They fit in all the right places, the hoodie is cropped and snatches right at the waist. I have the airlift hightide onsie and dang, too bad it’s too cold to wear it this year but it also fits great!

  • i want to like alo but for the price their quality really isn’t good. i reach for literally any other brand in my closet. It’s cute though

  • I have the airmesh venus bralette and seamless chosen bra in almost every color. I absolutely love them. I have dried the seamless chosen bras on low and they have not shrunk, pilled, or faded. I wear for HIIT, regular gym, pilates, or cycling. I even gave some as a gift and they love it too! I air dry the airmesh. I love this bra as my everyday wear as I hate underwire. I also have the 7/8 leggings and love these too. They work for the above workouts and everyday wear.

  • The styles are nice but honestly the quality isn’t there. I like Alo if I really want to look sexy working out, otherwise — I don’t buy it.
