Alo earns mixed reviews: the brand delivers chic, flattering athleisure that often feels luxuriously soft, durable, and wash‑resistant, but quality and fit prove inconsistent—especially with leggings—compared to Lululemon. Reviews praise standout tops, sweats, Airlift/Airbrush sets, and yoga mats for comfort and longevity, while recurring complaints cite pilling, stretching, limited compression, sizing discrepancies, and frequent frustration with customer service and exchanges.

  • Alo is a 10/10! The brand is very fashion forward, with the styles they offer & different color varieties. Putting on my Alo workout gear makes me feel comfortable, chic, & ready to kill my workout. As much as it is althletic wear, it’s so stylish & comfy I desire to wear it all day.

  • A day almost never goes by where I don't wear at least one Alo piece. Most days I wear Alo on top and bottom. The Triumph Crew Neck Tee is my favorite shirt (I have 5 of them) and I wear it almost every day. The fabric is fantastic, and it fits me perfectly around the shoulder and arms. I'm 5′11″ and ~190lbs, and a M fits quite nice (though it fit me a little better when I was 10-15 pounds lighter, lol). The Co-Op 7/8 Pant is the most comfortable pair of sweats I've ever had. I just went skiing (Spring skiing) and wore them as my bottom layer and they even did a pretty good job of keeping me dry. They look great. I recommend Alo to every guy I know looking to stray away from the typical Lululemon look.

  • As someone who's really picky about workout apparel, I must express my love for their tennis skirts, especially the GRAND SLAM TENNIS SKIRT – a must-have for any summer wardrobe. The thick waistband cinches in like no other, and the small intricate pleats not only add movement but also contribute to its unique charm. The built-in shorts also make it super comfortable to walk around. While the $88 price tag may seem steep, I've struggled to find another skirt that even comes close. I strongly recommend everyone to try it on if you can. I felt incredibly confident, so much so that I couldn't resist getting it in yellow during Alo's sale. A word of caution: due to the intricate pleats, it's advisable to hand wash it to avoid ruining the pleat lines if thrown in the dryer.

  • The brand generously sent my client some new clothes from their recent Alo drop for product testing purposes. I had the pleasure of working closely with several members of their team and can attest to their professionalism and effectiveness. Each product arrived meticulously packaged and perfectly folded. The quality is exceptional—true to size, sturdy, and durable, outshining competitors with their consistent innovation. They offer a wide range of products and colors, a rarity in the athleisure space. The only drawback is the pricing, which tends to be slightly higher than others on the market. While my clients believe the products justify the cost, others may find some items less accessible. Nevertheless, these pieces are destined to remain wardrobe staples for some time, and I eagerly anticipate future collaborations with this team.

  • Title: Extremely Disappointed with Alo Yoga's Poor Quality and Unresponsive Customer Service I recently purchased a top from Alo Yoga, and I am utterly disappointed with the quality and the brand's inability to address a simple issue. Despite following the care instructions diligently, the sweat stains under the arms refuse to budge, leaving me embarrassed and frustrated. First and foremost, the fact that a supposedly high-end brand like Alo Yoga produces clothing that cannot withstand basic wear and tear is unacceptable. As a customer, I expect the products I purchase to be of superior quality, especially when paying a premium price. However, this top has proven to be nothing more than a disappointment. It is disheartening to see a brand that claims to prioritize customer satisfaction fail to address a legitimate concern. The lack of response only adds insult to injury and shows a complete disregard for their customers' experiences. I find it incredibly frustrating that Alo Yoga seems to be more focused on marketing and promoting their products rather than ensuring their customers' satisfaction. It is evident that they prioritize profit over quality and customer care. In conclusion, my experience with Alo Yoga has been nothing short of a disappointment. The poor quality of their clothing, coupled with their unresponsive customer service, has left me feeling frustrated and let down. I would strongly advise against purchasing from this brand, as they do not live up to their claims of providing high-quality activewear.

  • I received a long sleeve shirt as a gift. After a year, it starting ripping along the seam. Company not only has poor customer service, but they only warrantee product for 30 days. I think because they charge so much, people think they’re great quality. I won’t use the product again.

  • I purchased a pair of sweatpants for my teenage daughter. I loved the look of them and I knew she had friends that wore them. Unfortunately, she has had them less than a month and they are pilling between the legs. They are definitely not too small, they are the wide leg version. When I contacted the company, they told me I couldn't return or exchange them. I was under the 30 day return policy as and when I pointed that out, they did not respond. I received what appear to be "auto response" emails so I am not sure anyone even reads them. I was very disappointed since the sweatpants were $118 and the company doesn't seem stand by the quality of the product. I would caution people on ordering the sweatpants. I even sent photos upon request that clearly show the pilling and they said they wouldn't do anything.

  • I have only used this legging a few times, but look at how it turned out, it has no material quality at all

  • Comfy go to, got it in Grey and I use it all the time

  • I have shopped with Alo over the past 5+ years. The colors and designs are nice, however the quality just is not there. I think they charge way too much for what the quality of the material and construction actually is. Would love to see them try to level up their quality to match the aesthetic. I won't be buying any new Alo products.

  • Love ALO, the material is so soft and is not see through. It can be very expensive but find that there products last forever. I really appreciate their sweatsuits and hope that they get new colors soon!

  • I’m sorry for a company that seems to have been around for some years; once they received the money it should not take 5 weeks to get your order when it located in the United States. This will be the last time because this was to be a Christmas gift for granddaughter knowing that she will be very disappointed .

  • WORST customer service ever encountered. They never replied to my email or called me when they said they would. I liked their clothes but I will not support them any loner due to the lack of common decency.

  • They don’t publish bad reviews and delete them. They no longer honor their own shipping policies and never ship items that you purchased. The customer service is arrogant and ignorant. This company is a scam

  • okay maybe its just me but I can't wear their bras or leggings and I really want to the only item that alo makes that actually fits me properly are the tennis skirts. I have a low set chest and none of the bras are adjustable. adjustable bra please!!1

  • I love Alo! There's a ton of athleisure brands out there now, but Alo is definitely making waves. I prefer it over Lululemon now. Their skincare is also great with an amazing star ingredient, everything in the clothing range is so functional and comfortable, and it's great for everyday wear too!

  • I wanted to love this, I mean it’s the cutest ever. However, their items pilled so quickly and the quality just isn’t there. It’s a no from me on Alo

  • I bought Alo leggings in my usual size and I don't think they stay in place as well as Lululemon. They are much thicker, which is nice for winter workouts, but I'd buy lululemon everytime over Alo again.

  • Incredibly high quality athleticwear brand. I've purchased both online and in various retail spots. Apparel lasts forever without falling apart and handles wash/wear very well. Sizing is more on the smaller side, particularly things like leggings, so I typically size up a bit. Highly recommend the brand though - I've had 0 bad experiences!

  • I love all of my Alo tops. They’re incredibly high quality & the silhouettes are very flattering. I own a few cropped tanks that have built in sports bras- great for yoga and Pilates. And a few cropped long and short sleeve tops. They’ve withstood the washing machine on delicate and I always hang dry! They just opened a store in Miami which has great customer support & help although so far all of my purchases have been made online.

I don’t particularly like their leggings. I find they don’t provide much compression and aren’t flattering. I stick to Lululemon when it comes to bottoms still
