I got the body wash, lotion, and deodorant in santal, hoping it would be similar to Santal 33 from le labo. It isn’t, so if that’s something you’re looking for maybe keep looking. The smell is nice, but much more feminine and floral than musky. I still use it, it layers nicely and feels great. I use the body wash with the santal 33 body wash and it seems to absorb the scent and extend the longevity of the santal 33 body wash.

    Feedback

I really love having the same scent for everything. I would love if perfumes were added (along with a more musky scent line) and there was an option for a deodorant with a more clinical strength. The “natural” deodorants (marketing gimmick) don’t have effective ingredients so I can’t wear them on humid days.

Great alternative to thinx. Looks cute and fits well, works just fine.

I think their serum is great! It has just enough coverage for me and doesn’t make me break out. I have sensitive skin so it is important to have noncomedogenic and spf makeup, but usually spf makes me break out. This works very well. The eyeshadow liquid doesn’t work very well, though. The applicator isn’t sufficient so you’ll need to blend it out with a brush and if you have moisture or it doesn’t dry completely it comes off in clumps.

    Feedback

In my opinion, the liquid eyeshadow applicator should be usable alone and should dry like a powder so that it doesn’t “roll” off.

I bought half a dozen pairs of underwear in 3-4 styles. Some of their styles are okay, but the vast majority just don’t fit comfortably. They are very small, floss-like. I am perpetually pulling out front wedgies.

    Feedback

I don’t have this issue with other underwear so I am not sure why they do this, but maybe a wider carriage?

I love The Ordinary. I love that their products are not named something that obscures the ingredients (like "calming butter" or "brightening cream"), but helping customers understand which ingredients they need to manage very targeted issues and providing products that are affordable and customizable.

    Bigger bottles of certain creams!

I bought Suganami and Way with Woods scents. After running into some logistical issues with shipping (it took 2 weeks), I ended up returning both. The smells were okay, I liked Suganami more than a Way with Woods, but neither one would be my go-to scent.

    Feedback

Better shipping. Ability to purchase samples alone instead of with the full size bottle.

I tried their dry shampoo and immediately returned it. It has an incredibly strong floral scent. If you like gender neutral or more subtle scents this might totally put you off. In terms of formula I also think Living Proof's product is so much better.

    Feedback

The smell is so strong of rose. Even just something that isn't so floral would be better.

I think it did a great job of rescuing my skin by putting it on a routine and reducing the amount of nonessential products I used. Having one serum that I used every night and cutting out the rest really helped my acne, but after ~2 years I eventually found which ingredients I needed and switched to purchasing just those. The ingredients don't really require a dermatologist's prescription, but having them there to review pictures of my skin and suggest alternative ingredients at the beginning of my acne journey was so nice and helpful.

    Feedback

Not much. I think they're really great for people who are just starting out learning about ingredients and trying to find a really simplified but custom routine.

I use the Cicapair Tiger Grass Color Correcting cream. I just use it in red areas and it blends beautifully. Minimal coverage but it neutralizes the reds.
