I’ve been a whoop user for 2.5 years and I have no intention of stopping. The insights on sleep and how your daily activities impact your sleep/recovery have helped me make some big changes in my life. The data is easy to consume, even though there is a lot of it. The monthly and weekly reports are clear and helpful. I love the options for wearing it off the wrist - bicep bands, bras and underwear. I wore the underwear under a formal dress to a wedding and you couldn’t see it at all and I still got my data tracked.

I love my Whoop and everything about it. I signed up for a 2 year membership because I am OBSESSED with all the data it provides. Sometimes my recovery scores are a little whacky, or my effort is way off (sometimes my foot cadence gets confused for my HR), BUT I still love Whoop. Only giving it 4 stars because of the occasional inaccuracy and the fact you are stuck wearing this on your wrist for 2 years.

It's good, but it's annoying to wear a Whoop all the time, especially if you also have a Garmin or Apple watch. Sometimes I get a little contact dermatitis and have to switch wrists.

Used for 1 year. Had a lot of trouble cancelling the subscription. Hard to buy as a gift and store was always out of the better bands. I felt the stats were better than some other apps, but to wear this and pay such a large monthly fee, I felt it could have been better.

lower price.

Whoop’s data truly is top notch and helped me keep up my fitness and level up my recovery game. Understanding sleep metrics and how to get the best recovery is so important, and Whoop provides objective metrics to support that.

Customer support wasn’t super helpful when I had an issue, but they did eventually resolve it.

I LOVE the data it has given me, I know what my body likes + what it doesn't. I love the communities part and that I'm always pushing myself to get high strain and focus more on recovery. Has truly changed the way that I live my life. However after a year of using it I've began to question whether it's still providing me value since I know what my body does and doesn't like. Also can toe the line of becoming toxic in terms of avoiding things that will impact my recovery or pushing sore muscles to achieve a higher strain.

Would love to see some way to incorporate strength training and muscle fatigue, as well as more value over time. Once you know your baseline and what impacts you, it's tough to want to continue $30/mo for the data you can predict.

I enjoyed it and can understand why it’s beneficial. I just found the subscription fee to be too much for what you get. I think there are similar devices that probably do just as good without a monthly fee.

This told me I was sick before I even knew that I was sick. It told me that I was sick and I did not even feel sick, then 5 days late I tested positive for covid. Only downside it I wish that it would also be a watch.

I used Whoop for over a year and really enjoyed my time with them. The insights are great, especially if you're trying to get in shape or are training. I loved the fact that my Whoop would automatically detect activity and learned what activities I did so that I didn't have to input activities in manually like you have to do with the Apple Watch. As with all activity trackers, you're not going to instantly hit your goals just by buying one; it's a tool to keep you motivated and get to your goals if you put in the work. The reason I didn't renew my subscription was that it seemed like the jump to 4.0 really screwed with the battery life, and the charger really didn't do a good job of holding a charge. I found myself constantly having to charge my Whoop. I also upgraded to their Pro package where I would get a free item from their shop every quarter, but they never really had anything I wanted besides more and more colors of bands. A guy can only get so many boxers lol. Overall a good product, but a bit costly when it comes to the subscription. If the 4.0 had a better battery life and charger, it might be worth the subscription.

This product is a shadow of its former self. I had the Whoop 3 for years and loved it but then they upgraded to whoop 4 and I could tell it was totally off and super inaccurate. What a huge bummer that they ruined their own product.

Super inaccurate since the last version release - very disappointing

Helpful in understanding metrics. I am not active enough competitively to justify the monthly cost for a membership. I would be game to buy it at one price point and be able to use the app free. Similar to Apple Watch.

Their software is where they shine. The band is nothing more than a heart-rate monitor. As an athlete, I love the stats and feedback that I get, but sometimes I do wish that it was more actionable. I stopped my subscription because you can get the same thing with an apple watch and the app Athlytic (https://apps.apple.com/us/app/athlytic-ai-fitness-coach/id1543571755).

I really like using my Whoop to track sleep, energy, fitness, etc. One of my favorite features is their recovery feature so you know when you can push harder during a workout or if it's more helpful to your body to take it easy at the gym. Another feature I like is that it doesn't have a watch face like an Apple watch. Minimal distractions to focus on workouts is important to me.

I wish they had more stylish bands. If I'm not in the gym, these bands don't go well with any outfits. Also, the monthly fee of $30 is a bit steep to track the data.

Fantastic device that allows many insights compared to other fitness trackers, whether for an aspiring athlete like myself, or someone focusing on their baseline fitness! Also, this code allows a couple months FREE usage of a WHOOP, so you can try these metrics and coaching before paying a penny: 7E3DEB7A

Whoop is a lures consumers into paid monthly subscription plans unknowingly, hiding the fact that monthly plans lock consumers into lengthy year-long contracts. They are currently under investigation in California for misleading business practices.

This is more of a note of caution than anything else, relating to potential compatibility issues and "Final Sale" products. Like many others, I was excited to up my game when it came to my health, so I ordered a 4.0 device and a "Whoop Your Way" band. Unfortunately, after trial and error, lots of contact with their support team and a replacement device, I found out that there are compatibility issues with certain devices and Android. In no world had I expected such an issue, having a modern phone that has never posed any issues for me. Anyway, I had to send the products back, seeing as they were of no use to me. I later came to find out that the 100 bucks I spent on the customized band would not be returned, as the product is a "Final Sale" item. Of course this information is hidden nicely in a large block of text on the product page that also talks about various other things. Naturally, they don't highlight or make it clear to the customer, along with the implications. TLDR Carefully check whether the product you order is a "Final Sale" product, before ordering, and DO NOT order these until you confirm that your device is compatible with the Whoop. Do this to avoid losing a fair chunk of change, in the event that you're unfortunate (like me) to have a device that just doesn't work with theirs, for whatever reason. Can't really review the Whoop itself all that much, as it simply didn't work for me. However, the first device that was sent to me, happened to be malfunctioning anyway.

After crushing my third Fitbit screen, I went on the hunt for a screenless fitness tracker. Options boiled down to Whoop and the Oura Ring. The ring seemed like it'd be just as (if not more) susceptible to smashing in my day-to-day. The Whoop 4.0 tracker feels like a substantial jump in quality compared with the old version I was sent when I first signed up, and I love how I can plunk the tracker into other Whoop wearables when I need. I like the sleep tracker, but I think this puppy really shines with its *strain* tracking. It takes into account a bunch o' stuff to tell me how much I exerted myself in a workout alongside how much my body was poised to take on that day. I was never one who found "step tracking" super helpful to my fitness goals, so tracking things like my body's preparedness and overall strain helps me plan more effective workouts that match what my body's feeling like on any given day. I did dock this a star because of the subscription fee. While the device itself is free, getting access to your data and tech is not. I'm just tired of my one billion subscription plans, and I'd definitely be happy to fork over a bunch of money upfront versus a little money for infinity.

I have decided to try whoop. It was a special offer, that you can get 30 days free and if you would like the device, you can continue with annual subscription. Before getting 30 days free, you need to register your account and choose the subscription which you would like to have. (Annual payment or monthly payment). After using it for 30 days, I really liked the thing, but the problem is was the pricing. To pay 30EUR each month its a bit expensive. I have explained to WHOOP that I would like to cancel my subscription because whoop is to expensive for me. The guys from support confirmed, that subscription is cancelled, and I am not longer able to use whoop from the expiration date. Short story long, whoop still charge me on monthly basis, which is mean, that my subscription is still active. I was trying to speak to support, but unfortunately, no one replays, and either no one is fixing the issue. Thanks God, that funds has been taken not from my main bank account, but I am really disappointed of their support and attitude to the client. Stay away guys from this company!! I will do everything to get back my refund. I already started to discuss with Human rights.

Device has issues with accuracy and consistently malfunctions. Also $50 brightly colored band faded to brown in a month and I could not get them to replace it. Buyer beware. You’d save a lot of money if you simply use common sense in your training and recovery.
