Westman Atelier earns mixed reviews: the brand delivers elegant, effortless color with standout hits like the Face Trace Cream Contour Stick in Biscuit and Baby Cheeks Blush in Petal, yet stumbles with a clumpy, underperforming mascara and inconsistent base products. Reviews praise the luxurious magnetic packaging, hydrating Hydrobalm tinted lipstick, and natural, buildable finishes, while citing issues such as oily/separating complexion drops, stiff Eye Pods, drying lip compacts, glittery or too-subtle highlighters, and foundations that emphasize dryness or break out sensitive skin.

Picked up the contour stick in biscuit. Perfect colour for my light skin. It blends beautifully and i use it to subtle contrast areas of my face. It’s small for the money but alittle goes along way!!!!

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] Westman Atelier is a new brand to me but I was astonished by the quality of this hydrobalm tinted lipstick. It's very gentle and smooth, lightweight, and buttery soft with a touch of cooling sensation. The best part about this lipstick is that it doesn't dry out my lips but hydrates them for hours!! I've never seen any lipstick do that before. The nectar color is natural light pink that brings out my full lips. The most unique part of this particular lipstick is that it has Hydrobalm technology mixed with hyaluronic acid that brings natural color onto my lips. Doesn't sting, simply nourishes my lips and gives it a light classy look. Highly recommend it! This Westman Atelier has hit my top lipstick list! I highly recommend it! I plan on purchasing more in other colors.

Goes on really well and smooth. Definitely gives my skin a nice and glowy tone as well. I am not big on foundation so i will put this on when i want a little bit more makeup and it works great! Really big fan of the packaging as well.

Feels luxurious and balmy with just enough color to enhance your lips. It’s not sticky at all and gives a soft, glossy finish that looks really healthy. Definitely a treat, but a good one. All of the products from this brand are amazing.

I love this brand's sleek, expensive looking packaging. The marketing is great, and convinced me to try since I love a simple makeup routine. I wasn't impressed when I got the highlighter stick- it was more glittery than shimmery when applied, and wore off easily. I'm tanner than some people, so that may be why the product didn't show up well, but overall it seems like the highlighter is too subtle and not shimmery enough. I'd like to try another product from this brand, but I wouldn't recommend the highlighter.

I have heard people rave about the Westman Atelier lipstick in petal and was very excited to try it. It’s been described as a dusty nude, but when I tried it on it look very peachy. It was so terrible that I thought my first tube oxidized, but the second as just as oddly colored. Absurd for a $50 lipstick.

I really liked the baby cheeks blush stick. The application is matte and buildable. I don’t love the packaging. It looks sweet but because of the magnetizing aspects it is very heavy. The product is easy to use and will last me forever.

Westman Atelier’s Eye Pods are gorgeous to look at and the packaging feels luxe, but the performance left me a little underwhelmed. The shades themselves are pretty and very wearable, but the texture is a bit stiff, so I have to work harder than expected to pick up product and blend it out smoothly. Once on the eyes, the color is too subtle for the price point. I do appreciate how portable the trios are and how clean the formulas feel, but overall these didn’t wow me. They’re nice to have, but not a must-have, especially given how many other cream shadows blend more effortlessly. If you love the brand aesthetic and prefer a soft wash of color, you might enjoy them, but for me they didn’t quite justify the splurge.

If someone asked me, “what is your favorite skincare product YOU CAN ONLY PICK ONE, and use one for the rest of your life?” I would hands down without a doubt choose the skin activator by Westman Atelier. I was just introduced to the brand a few weeks ago when I saw a friend looking amazing and asked what was her secret? She told me it was the tinted serum drops… done add to cart. BUT then… I started looking at the Skin Activator and with the Sephora sale, figured why not? After only a few days, my life is forever changed. My face feels smoother, tighter and honestly like glass. So after those two purchases, I added the contour in Biscuit to cart. Again 10/10 experience and love it! If I could rate this a 6/5 I would. One thousand percent get this if you have been eyeing it!

Love the minimalistic packaging and magnetic tops. I feel like it makes it so much easier to throw in a bag and go. This is definitely for a more minimalistic, sheer almost no makeup makeup look. Update: I have now added the mascara, bronzer ans blush to my bag. I love the ease of use and putting together a full face in 5 minutes tops.

I work in a high end, clean beauty boutique and can definitely vouch that this brand is the most sought after. Outside of the luxe, high end packaging, the colors are wearable, buildable and mistake proof. It's basically makeup for non makeup people and loved by makeup junkies as well. The best sellers are Nectar (highlighter) and Baby Cheeks sticks. I love the gloss but it's not a long wearing thing so keep that in mind. The mascara is the one product I would NOT a waste money on. Ilia has the best clean non toxic mascaras at half the price. Ofc the price reflects its luxe status but if you can get one thing, buy the complexion drops or Foundation Stick

I tried Westman about four years ago when I decided to splurge myself due to my sensitive skin. At first, I found it true to its online reviews (amazing)! However, as time passed, the stick foundation became too thick for blending, and I had some breakouts and reactions to the brand. Not enough to give up altogether. However, I wanted to keep searching for that magic brand that would best fit my sensitive, aging skin. I ended up finding that fit just this year. However, my skin has changed, and I occasionally switch between Westman and my new brand depending on whether I want a day or night look! This brand is expensive, but worth the splurge as you move from the traditional cream and powder foundation to a more natural powder-free face so your maturing skin will stay fresh and free of powder settling into any facial lines! It is never an easy transition to make, especially for those of us who have struggles with past sensitive skin/acne issues and are now dealing with menopause. Once you make the transition to a more bare face, you will be amazed at how much younger your skin looks sans powder!

Yet another brand by a make-up artist, she launched it about five years ago. The foundations are not great - the one in a stick is unsuitable for dry skin, as it looks obvious. The liquid BB cream has little coverage but is very moisturising and comfortable for dry skin. Amazing cream blushes - I have repurchased Chouchette several times and finished it off to the last bit! Lip glosses are ok, not sticky or tacky, and the colours are very wearable. WA excels in contouring products in stick (biscuit is hands down the best contour stick on the market) and highlighters in stick (nectar is amazing). Far too many copycat products recently. The liquid highlighters are not great. The mascara is terrible, as well as the eyebrow pencil. Awful eye shadows and ridiculously overpriced skin serum. The lip compact in red is too drying, and les nudes compact has only two colours out of four that are wearable. Crazy expensive brand, not all the products are worth the high price tag. Marketing based on her famous clientele and recent launches is not innovative at all. The brand has only one refillable product, even if they keep saying they are sustainable. One of the positive aspects is the natural ingredients - but they are not certified. The founder seems oblivious to the real world, saying that her brand is sustainable yet living a high-pollutant lifestyle.

I love Westman Atelier products. They're luxe and the packaging is beautiful. I've used most of the line and my favorite is the Baby Cheeks Blush Stick. I have repurchased the shade "Petal" 3 times. It's a beautiful color, blends seamlessly and is long lasting. Look for sets to try out minis of multiple products at a discount because this brand is spendy!

This is definitely product dependent and if you feel the packaging is worth the high price point. I love the lipstick. A nice touch is the heavy, magnetic packaging with the mirror under the cap! Feels so luxurious. The mini blush sticks are really nice as well. Same luxurious packaging. Big fan of the nectar shade! The foundation drops/bronzer didn’t work for me unfortunately, they are very oily and separated on my skin. For the price point, it should feel better. The powder bronzer doesn’t have much pigment.
First saw this brand because the packaging stood out to me in store. I now follow them on social and consistent use their bronzer and foundation stick. I am obsessed! The quality is amazing and I love the packaging.
Amazing company, with amazing effective products. I would highly recommend it. LOVE LOVE LOVE. LUXURY PRODUCTS.
Their blush comes in a range of really gorgeous colours and the packaging feels really lux (magnetic lid), but it's hard to justify for the price point. I've used other cream blushes before that work just as well without the steep price.
The packaging is drool-worthy on it's on. The contour stick has quickly become a staple product in my makeup collection. I would give Westman Atelier 5 stars. Here's why I can't: Their pricing. Charging the same dollar amounts -- in many cases, even higher dollar amounts -- as well-established luxury makeup brands (think Chanel, Dior, Givenchy) for subjectively lesser than products is reason enough to shift my buying power. If this were the only "clean" beauty collection on the market, I'd oblige; however, this is far from being the case.
I have their stackable eye shadow, and I like it! It does come unscrewed pretty easily, which is frustrating when traveling.
