Taika earns largely positive reviews for creamy, zero-sugar canned lattes and matcha that deliver a smooth, jitter-free lift, with macadamia milk, adaptogens (L-theanine, ashwagandha, lion’s mane), and standout flavors like Macadamia Latte, Mocha, and Matcha. Reviews also flag inconsistent texture (clumps/chunkiness), diluted or weak flavor—especially matcha—and occasional bitter or artificial-sweetener aftertaste, making performance and taste variable across cans.

The flavor was really good one of my favorite drinks now! No sugar which is a big bonus for me and only 70 calories.

It was decent in flavor but the texture left a lot to be desired. Liked that it had clean ingredients though!

Like the convenience but wish they had a sugar free option!
This was delicious AFTER I poured it into a glass and mixed it thoroughly with a milk frother, which kind of defeats the portability benefit. It was creamy and not too sweet. However, on first sip out of the can I was met with a gelatinous blob of what I assume was the MCT oil, which was extremely off-putting. It’s also a bit pricey, at $4 for only 8 oz of coffee.

Not my favourite coffee drink, but it was good in a pinch! I have seen these around for a bit and was interested in them, but the earthy aftertaste may keep me from repurchasing.

I tried the Macadamia Latte of Taika and I liked it, albeit the texture was something to get used to. There are tiny little clumps of squishy bits that roll around in your mouth as you consume this one, and that took a little time for me to decide how I felt about it. The flavor was great - not too sweet (I like things less sweet than usual), and the macadamia was very subtle. I really like that it's a low sugar coffee drink, and the energy boost was what I expect from a canned coffee. Looking forward to trying the other flavor offerings :)

I tried the Matcha Latte with macadamia milk through the try new things program. This was really tasty! It had good matcha flavor, not too sweet, and was very smooth. I forgot to shake the can before opening, but I didn't have any issue with the texture or noticed too much settling at the bottom. The full can was 80 calories with 60mg of caffeine, which was perfect for a mid-morning caffeine boost. Overall, this was good option for a non-coffee caffeinated canned beverage and I would get it again! I would love to see more non-coffee flavors, but I'm glad the matcha latte was their first :)

I tried the oat milk flavor. Wasn’t too sweet and did wake me up a bit. It had a slight texture to it, even after shaking it. Was not a big fan of the flavor and random texture, but I’m willing to give the other flavors a try.

I tried the matcha latte and while the drink didnt really have a strong matcha taste, I enjoyed it overall. Its quite creamy and not too sweet. If the matcha flavor wouldve been stronger I think they would be a perfect drink.

I brought this on a road trip with me and was a bit concerned it would be too sweet and not a great travel drink. I was wrong! It was lightly sweet and not at all overpowering. It tasted really good. One note...it does say "shake well " and I did not see that before opening - and it was clumpy. I managed to plug the ppening and give it a good shake and that took care of my clumpy drink and then it was good and smooth. But they do mean it when they say "shake well".

I like that it’s low on sugar and it has adaptogens. But I did not enjoy the texture or the flavor. I tried the macadamia latte and it felt like I was drinking a coffee made by Yoo-Hoo.

I tried the mocha flavour. I usually love canned coffee and always grab one at whole foods. This one was fine but I was left kind of hoping for more. I’ve had worse but I’ve also had better. Not sure if I felt the adaptogenic benefits but I might have and I like that aspect, supposedly less jittery.

I've been wanting to try this brand. I chose Macadamia latte. The latte is creamy and is tasteful, although, I was a bit disappointed in the flavor as it did not have any macadamia taste. I am pleased, however, that it contains functional benefits, as I did feel a calmness from drinking it and I got a boost of energy shortly after drinking just one can. I look forward to trying other flavors.

I liked it, but I didn’t think it tasted that much like matcha and it did make me jittery.

I tried the macadamia latte. Tastes great - silky texture with balanced sweetness. It's 120 mg of caffeine with natural ingredients. I usually resort to energy drinks like Celsius - 200 mg of caffeine and instant awakeness hit. Taika is more a gradual buildup of awakeness with no bad aftertaste.

I got the matcha latte and it tasted pretty good! On par with what I would get at a Starbucks or dunkin. It has a strong matcha flavor and a kind of creamy taste to it too

I love the Matcha latte - it's an easy on the go drink with just enough caffeine and without the sugar rush. A bit cheaper than my local coffee shop, but still feels like a treat.
I love the idea of these and the aesthetic branding! I tried the matcha latte and the idea of adaptogens and macadamia milk definitely intrigued me. It was pleasant tasting although not too flavorful. The texture felt a bit off for me but I would consider picking it up again or trying a different flavor!
