Taika reviews and discussion

The intention and the branding of Taika is beautiful - the execution of their beverages is not so much. I tried the matcha and latte drinks and there is something about the blend that is just... not good. I'm not sure if it's the packaging mixing with the ingredients or if the blend just tastes that way. I hope Taika continues to product test to put out a drink that is as beautiful as its packaging.

I was so excited to try taika and really wanted to love it but I am simply not a fan of the overall taste of the Matcha latte - it tasted too 'canned' and had a very weird aftertaste.

I LOVED this! The tea was light and refreshing and bubbly and not too sweet! A bit pricey but definitely worth it!

I tried the mate flavor and it was pretty great! Not too sweet, a nice flavor and a gentle buzz.

I am a former heavy yerba mate drinker but hadn’t found a canned version that truly tasted like mate in ages. This definitely did! I’m looking forward to trying it again

Was able to sample the new yerba mate drinks via Thingdrop and absolutely loved them! They tasted so clean and refreshing, were perfectly effervescent, and had just the right (subtle) amount of sweetness. Left me feeling energized but not jittery. Can't wait to try more products!

I love their oat milk lattes and the matcha lattes!They are delicious and filling.

I actually really enjoyed this product. The Mateverse had just the right amount of caffeine for me to feel alert but not buzzy. I also felt like it had the right amount of carbonation to drink at a good pace and not feel full from it! Will definitely order again.

Part of the Thingdrop! The box was smaller than I thought. The drink packaging was fun and techy. Not mind-blowing in flavor but decent.

I selected the oat milk latte and I liked the general taste of it! It was creamier than I had expected, and just right on the sweetness level. I’ll be buying the other varieties soon!

A not too sweet but perfectly portioned coffee for when you are in a rush or on the go. I like the flavor options and the milk alternatives too!

The matcha latte and macadamia latte are my favorites, a nice alternative to spending big bucks at coffee shops and handy on the go.

Excellent product and worth buying again. I was satisfied with the quality, may even be better than what I normally purchase. I would definitely buy this again and will be trying the varieties offered.

This was exactly what I needed to get through a long day recently. Not only did it give me the additional ability to concentrate that I needed but the taste was really, really good! It’s a winner!!

I had the matcha flavor and it wasn’t my favorite but it wasn’t the worst. I believe I became use to other matches like Starbucks that is overly sweet, that this one was just a bit overpowering how strong the matcha flavor is. Not a bad drink but probably would not purchase again
