Summer Fridays earns largely positive reviews for plush, hydrating textures—particularly the Lip Butter Balm and Jet Lag Mask, which many say leave skin and lips soft, glowy, and comfortable—yet opinions split on efficacy: some see transformative hydration while others find results mild or experience irritation, especially with Jet Lag. Reviewers praise the clean-feeling formulas and sleek, travel-friendly packaging, but note issues such as stickiness, scent intensity, pigment sheerness, occasional pilling, and reports of reactions or dryness in sensitive users.

  • I have used the Jet Lag and Overtime masks. I liked the Jet Lag mask for overnight usage when I would travel for work and in the winter. It was great at moisturizing my skin, but would leave a thin layer of moisturizer on. Barely noticeable when you get used to it! I like the overtime masks for a face scrub and mask combo, but didn't see any drastic changes in my skin before and after.

  • I have tried the jet lag mask and lip balm. I have acne prone sensitive combination skin and use the jet lag mask at night with no problems. It’s hydrating but not too heavy on the skin. I have not seen any negative reactions from my skin and my skin stays hydrated. It does not make my skin more oily which is great. The lip balm smells like candy and leaves a lip gloss like finish. It’s thick but not sticky and I have seen improvement on my lips with it versus regular chapstick. I let my sister try the lip balm and she liked it so much she purchased one too. These are a the pricey side which is a con but I can justify a splurge every now and then because I actually like the products.

  • The Sunday Friday lip balm is my go to for everyday wear. It feels so soft on the lips and smells heavenly. It is on the stickier side than I would like, but lasts a long time and heals my chapped lips.

  • I have the jet lag mask and lip butter balm and love it so much. I have the mint and brown sugar scent and they smell amazing.

  • i got the lip butter balm and now see why so many people recommend this product! it was a good purchase and i look forward to trying other products from summer fridays.

  • I have mixed experiences with Summer Friday products but I overall love the brand and their esthetic. The rose mask which they discontinued was my favorite. It was so beautiful on the skin and really nourished my skin. Their jet lag mask left my face red which was a little alarming because I never reacted to a skincare product like that. I love their lip butter balm in pink sugar, it feels and looks great on my lips.

  • Definitely a brand that I use and purchase on repeat. The sunscreen is my main and favorite product. Clean ingredients and doesn't leave a white cast or feel heavy. Some reviews complain that the sunscreen has a weird smell, that happened with one bottle I purchased and Sephora replaced it for me. I also love the Jet Lag mask, and the lippies are good, but I don't purchase as a stand alone product, I get them in value sets.

  • Their lip balm is very hydrating and feels great on the lips.

  • Summer Fridays has quickly become one of my favorite skincare brands! Their products are so luxurious and effective. The Jet Lag Mask is my go-to for an instant hydration boost, and I love how smooth and glowy my skin feels afterward. The packaging is always sleek and aesthetically pleasing, which just adds to the experience. I really appreciate how Summer Fridays focuses on clean, nourishing ingredients, making it a brand I can trust for my skincare routine!

  • Okay, I know the Summer Fridays Lip Balm is super viral—but personally, I’m not a fan. It just didn’t live up to the hype for me. The texture and scent were fine, but for the price and the ingredients, I honestly expected more. If you’re looking for something that actually nourishes your lips with clean, real ingredients, I 1000% recommend trying the Primally Pure Lip Oil instead. It’s cheaper, made with beef tallow, and packed with ingredients that are actually good for you. Plus, it gives a beautiful natural sheen without any of the questionable stuff. Total game-changer.

  • I'm really impressed with the lip balms—they leave my lips feeling soft, hydrated, and visibly smoother. They’ve definitely become a staple in my routine. I also tried the Jet Lag Mask, but it didn’t quite live up to the hype for me. While it was cooling and soothing at first, my skin felt a bit sticky afterwards. I was recently gifted the lip gloss and I’m in love with the shade and the way it makes my lips look—super glossy with just the right amount of color. I only wish the price point was a bit more affordable, as I’d love to repurchase and try more shades!

  • I received some of their products as a gift. I love the lip butter balm and I will buy it again when I run out. I thought the jet lag mask was very overhyped. I have really dry skin and cicaplast and cetaphil work better and are cheaper.

  • Tried out the jet lag mask this winter, and I really liked the consistency — super smooth and it absorbed quickly. It definitely did a great job keeping my skin hydrated and protected from the cold. That said, it didn’t feel particularly unique, and once I finished the tube, I wasn’t in a rush to repurchase. Solid product, but not a game-changer for me.

  • I’ve been searching for a new face mist and I bought the Summer Friday Jet Lag Skin Soothing Hydration Mist based on the number of good reviews it had. I think the product is fine but I don’t love the mister. Each spray seems like it sprays a lot of product but it’s a balance figuring out how far away to hold the bottle. The product is rapidly emptying but my face doesn’t feel quenched. Because the mist is either so barely there it feels almost tacky or heavily wet and uneven - like you need to pat it around - depending on arms length you use - I end up spraying it multiple times. This may just be a me problem though that I haven’t figured this out by now!

  • Summer Fridays is a skincare brand that truly embodies the essence of uncomplicated beauty. Their products offer a refreshing approach to skincare, focusing on clean ingredients that deliver visible results. The formulations are lightweight yet effective, making them perfect for everyday use. My favorite is the Jet Lag Mask, which instantly hydrates and revitalizes tired skin. The brand's packaging is also aesthetically pleasing, making it a delightful addition to any skincare routine. Overall, Summer Fridays has quickly become a staple in my beauty arsenal for its quality and simplicity. Highly recommend!

  • I have used the lip balm butter and the jet lag mask and I love them both! I often take very long flights across country and the jet lag mask keeps my skin so hydrated in the air. I like to layer this on before boarding and again during the flight to ensure my skin is soft and hydrated upon arrival. I also love the lip balm butter, although it seems like the applicator has changed since I first got it. The formula of the product is still really great. I like how it lasts for a long time and the flavor of balm is pleasant and not too overpowering.

  • OK this works. I've been using it as a night time moisturizer and recently used it while traveling a long haul 12+ hour flight. It makes my skin feel rich and hydrated, kind of like an espresso shot boost!

  • I have used their Shade Drops mineral sunscreens and the lip butter balm. I really like both of these, I love the lip butter balm - the tint is nice and sheer but buildable. I normally do not reach for mineral sunscreens, but Shade Drops is one of the nicest I've tried - it's pretty lightweight and the tint is nice for evening my skin when I want a little coverage but don't want to wear make up or anything heavy (that said, I am very pale and it's almost certainly going to leave a whitecast on anyone with a tan or darker skin tone).

  • Yet to find my favorite product in this brand. The lip balms are okay. So far, my favorite flavor is peppermint. Something about the other flavors just ends up drying out my lips. (I have a theory it’s the vanilla scent).
