Reviewers praise long wear, blendability, accessible packaging, and inclusive shades, while noting drawbacks like overly intense blush that’s tricky for beginners, occasional fading or clumping, shade undertone mismatches for very fair or cool skin, and some leaking or fragile packaging and short‑lived fragrances.

  • I’ve only tried the travel size liquid blush but I like the product so far! Just a few dots does the trick, and I love the shade of peach that Joy is. I’m open to trying their other products, what else is good? :)

  • I love Rare Beauty's mission and products. I feel that the value is very high. You get a lot of product with great performance for good prices. They also have a wide product offering which is nice. They have amazing formulas and a great shade range on most products.

  • I have been using their foundation for years. Obviously their blush is a staple, and for good reason. But, if you haven't tried their foundation, I definitely recommend it because of the wide shade range, affordable price point, and applicator.

  • Rare Beauty has quickly become a standout brand in the beauty industry. With its inclusive range of products that celebrate diversity, Rare Beauty emphasizes natural beauty and self-acceptance. The foundation is particularly impressive, offering good coverage while feeling lightweight on the skin. The liquid blushes are a must-have, delivering a beautiful flush that blends effortlessly. Plus, the packaging is both sleek and functional. Overall, Rare Beauty successfully combines quality, innovation, and a positive message, making it a brand worth trying for anyone who loves makeup.

  • I have three Rare Beauty blushes- one cream and two powder. All 3 are SUPER pigmented and have an incredible color payoff. You do need to be careful when applying because a little bit goes a long way! Overall love the colors and they are long lasting. They also have a beautiful shimmer. I look forward to trying other Rare Beauty products soon!

  • I am a huge fan of rare beauty products, I just recently bought my first product from them. While shopping and Sephora recently I went ahead and picked up one of her highlighters. The shine and shimmer that this highlighter offers is unlike any highlighter I've ever used. Plus who doesn't love Selena Gomez? I'm also a big fan of her blush wands, along with her foundation and concealer that is also shade inclusive.

  • Rare Beauty is definitely one of the fastest growing beauty brands I’ve ever come across (and for good reason). My biggest pros and cons for the brand would be… PRO: shade range, price point, color range (lip products) great makeup brushes CON: complexion products are not great for sensitive skin types Overall, would recommend to anyone looking to try new beauty products at a decent price point.

  • I was surprised with how good this brand is. The concealer stick and loose powder were easy to use and enhanced my skin. I want to try some of the other products from this brand.

  • I have tried Rare Beauties liquid blushes, highlight, concealer, foundation, and setting powder and the only product that truly impressed me was the powder. The Good: The powders packaging is THE BEST. I love that the powder's contained until you slide open the sifter. As someone that regularly brings their makeup to do on the go, this has been a game changer. Additionally, the shade selection is decent. I am on the "easier" end of the spectrum with very fair skin and yellow/neutral undertones and was able to make their shade selection work. The Meh: The blushes are meant to be super pigmented but I feel like as soon as I start to blend, they dissipate into thin air. I have a mini trio set so that may be the issue, but I'm not impressed. I was originally stoked with the highlight but was bummed when I realized it was glittery rather than just having a nice glow-y sheen. The foundation and concealer are both super drying on my skin, no matter how well prepped my skin is. Big bummer.

  • ive only tried their Soft Pinch Liquid Blush in the shade Bliss is so far and i love it! it's a soft baby pink and the product itself is great. a little goes a loooonggg way and the packaging is so cute!

  • I have the cream blush (NOT the viral liquid one!) and the golden highlighter. I love both of these products so much! I love the cute little compact for the cream blush and the shade range it comes in I prefer to the liquid blush. I also find it super easy to use and blend by hand - I bought this one also because I saw a review recommending cream vs liquid blushes in general for ppl who have less makeup experience! aka me haha. I want to try more of her products!!

  • Rare Beauty offers an undeniably impressive formula across its range. They have smooth, blendable, and highly pigmented products that perform beautifully on the skin. The color selection is stunning, with shades I think can fkattering and thoughtfully curated for a wide range of skin tones. However, where the brand falls slightly short, in my opinion, is in its packaging. While it's functional and recognizable, it lacks the luxurious feel one might expect at this price point. I was hoping for packaging that felt a bit more elevated. Overall, while the performance is there, the presentation leaves a bit to be desired.

  • I am always hesitant to buy celebrity makeup brands but had heard such good things about this one and was needing a new liquid blush anyways. So that said, I've only tried the liquid blush but the quality is excellent. It's super vibrant, buildable, and feels great on the skin. It blends beautifully with my foundation and there is no patchiness. I can't recommend the entire line because I've only used one item, but if the quality is this strong in the blush I imagine it's pretty consistent for all Rare Beauty! I also feel like it's going to last foreverrrrr based on the amount of product in the tube and how little I use each time because of the pigment strength.

  • I love most of the products I've tested so far, like many people here, I love the Soft Pinch Blush. I have a darker complexion, so finding blushes that are pigmented enough to show up on my skin can be (dare I say) rare. A little goes a long way and I'm keen to try more shades! Their Lip Soufflé Lip Cream is also amazing. I've repurchased the shade Inspire multiple times and it's my go to for an everyday soft red lippy. If you have darker lips, the pigment is beautiful and the colour blends out beautifully. I find the texture can be funny sometimes but it's not a big deal. The Tinted Lip oil & Always an Optimist didn't work well for me.

  • Not a fan of Selena but a huge fan of this line. Love the blush. So pigmented and great quality. You get your money's worth

  • I LOVE Rare Beauty's highlighters! They are so flattering on my skin tone! And their packaging is accessible!! AHHHH!!!

  • I love rare beauty. I have sensitive skin and nothing has broken me out! My favorite products are the liquid blush (shade happy) the contour stick and the liquid highlighter!

  • I have tried the Soft Pinch Liquid Blush in the color shade "Hope" and I love it. It gives that soft halo on your cheeks like you just tanned on the beach during the day, plus the tint is so full that you only need a tiny bit, so the product lasts long. I also have the Positive Light Liquid Luminizer in the color shade "Outshine", which I use to give some spotlights on my face. I love their products and will repurchase them.

  • Rare Beauty feels like its branding has gotten less coherent in recent years. The products are also, genuinely, average, regardless of price point. The packaging is great, and the formulations are ok. The blush overdoes itself, honestly - no one really needs a blush to last years and years. The brushes are great and very beginner friendly, and the primers/setting sprays are also great and versatile! However, all of the makeup products I've bought from them - I eventually stop using them a little early on because they're just... ok, and tried to figure out how to love them, and replace them earlier than I originally wanted to.
