Reviews mention

  • Vibrant flavor variety
  • Refreshing fizzy mouthfeel
  • Lighter, cleaner ingredients
  • Eye-catching playful packaging
  • Lingering stevia aftertaste
  • Occasionally too sweet profile
  • Inconsistent soda dupes
  • Lower carbonation intensity

Poppi earns largely positive reviews as a tasty, lower-sugar soda alternative that many say curbs cravings, feels lighter on the stomach, and sometimes helps with bloating; favorites include Raspberry Rose, Orange, Ginger Lime, Doc Pop, Cherry Limeade, Classic Cola, and Root Beer. Reviews also flag weaknesses: a noticeable stevia/artificial aftertaste for some, occasional vinegary tang or sweetness that runs too high, less carbonation than expected, mixed success of cola/root beer “dupes,” and inconsistent alignment with claimed gut benefits.

  • I used to be a devoted fan of Poppi drinks, consistently buying about six cans every few days. However, their recent reformulation completely altered the drink, and I haven't touched Poppi since. The changes left me disappointed, as the unique appeal I once enjoyed seems to have vanished. It's a personal experience, but the reformulation has, unfortunately, led me to explore other beverage options.

  • Really love Poppi. Great flavor alone or as a mixer in a cocktail or mocktail. It’s a treat I look forward to in my day.

  • I looove poppi! I’ve always been a soda drinker so these are such a good better for you option. The hype is deserved! So many flavors to choose from, raspberry is my fav

  • These healthy sodas have the perfect amount of carbonation and sweetness to them, and I love that they contain prebiotics. However some of the flavors don't pack enough flavor for me. For example, I wish the ginger lime contained a much spicier ginger punch, and the raspberry rose is too subtle with the rose.

  • Decent soda for the price but I prefer other brands' flavors. There are also some additives that I don't love to see in an ingredients list.

  • Definitely tasty, but still soda. It worries me that this is being marketed as a health drink.

  • I was bummed to find out Poppi is mostly exploiting a loophole in labeling - it should have clicked for me that a soda can’t give you fiber :( love the taste though

  • I’ve tried the Poppi Orange Soda. I can’t speak to the health benefits per se, however as far as low calorie sodas go I found theirs to be very pleasant. The artificial sugar taste is still there but not too prominent.

  • As a college student, my friends and I live off of this stuff. It's the perfect, healthy alternative to a soda when you are looking for something sweet and bubbly, that offers more flavor than a La Croix or seltzer water. Extra points for amazing packaging. I like these and I typically avoid carbonated drinks.

  • I think I'm in the minority, but the flavors/sweetness level just don't hit for me. Cute packaging though and a great mission.

  • Not every flavour works for me but the strawberry lemon flavour is genuinely good (not just good for a "healthy soda"). I think it is my favourite "healthy soda" alternative on the market.

  • I love the tropical punch, cherry cola, & cherry vanilla. There’s not a lot of sugar & surprisingly some fiber in the carbonated drink. Excellent quality to have around the house, as these go fast.

  • Maybe its just me but the differentiation between kombucha and probiotic soda is becoming thinner. Is this about the fact booch has a stigma? I love the booch... Poppi is solid in spite of it not being booch. Booch-adjacent? Anyway, I do dig this and while I am not a soda fan, sometimes a little pop is a treat worth treating and it is less bitter and harsh than some booch. Adulting soda!!

  • It’s just like every other mildly flavored fizzy water brand. Some guy health benefits but really, I don’t need functional benefits with something so mediocre.

  • Best thing to ever be created. Huge win for anyone trying to consume less sugar without restricting overall diet.

  • I am so happy Poppi is at Costco! I love these pops, but didn't buy them too frequently because they were so expensive. My favorite is the orange flavor, but I haven't tried one that I did not like.
