Reviews mention

  • Exceptional durability and construction
  • Lightweight warmth in jackets
  • Versatile, travel-friendly designs
  • Credible sustainability and repairs
  • Inconsistent, confusing apparel sizing
  • Occasional fleece pilling issues
  • Delicate nano puff shell fabric
  • Mixed wind and waterproof performance

Patagonia earns overwhelmingly positive reviews and proves itself a good brand: gear is exceptionally durable, warm, and versatile across activities, with standouts like the Nano Puff, Better Sweater, Synchilla fleeces, Atom Sling, and Black Hole bags. Reviews also flag drawbacks—frequent comments on high pricing, inconsistent or tricky sizing (especially women’s bottoms), occasional fleece pilling and Nano Puff snags, a few wind/waterproof performance gaps, and muted styling for some tastes—making in‑store try‑ons and product selection key.

  • Love and trust Patagonia! Excellent quality, stylish outdoor gear. Plus if anything breaks they can help fix it or send you a patch in the mail. Their secondhand program is also really great for the environment and gaining lots of traction lately!

  • my brother and I both love Patagonia. I love their jackets so lightweight and warm such high-quality. I really really love this brand.

  • Love this brand. Their products are very comfortable and love all the styles you can get. Mostly love the sweaters. They’re worth the price if you feel like buying something pricey

  • A staple in my entire family's wardrobe. The product never disappoints and worth every penny. They offer excellent customer service and stand behind their products.

  • The warmest, most well made clothing! In fact, their clothing is ‘almost’ TOO warm for Virginia climate! If tou live in a climate with a cold winter, these duds are SO worth the price!

  • Great brand. Everything I’ve bought from Patagonia has been so warm and done what it’s claimed to do

  • i love Patagonia clothing... the quality is A+. they use cool designs and color ways/color combos, easy to wear materials and it looks good as well as feels good, while being supremely functional. they have all 4 seasons covered and do it well. i highly recommend Patagonia. plus their commitment and dedication to healing the oceans and the earth is beyond cool.

  • I love Patagonia cause its timeless quality outdoor gear. I'll never get rid of any of my Patagonia because it is durable and stands the test of time activity after activity. Even the worn wear is full of gear that is just as good as brand new.

  • Firstly, I want to clarify that I have not worked for Patagonia directly, but I used to work for a retail store that sold A LOT of Patagonia. Because of that we got A LOT of discounted Patagonia clothing and gear. Now that the disclaimer / clarification is aside...I love Patagonia's brand marketing, their eco-friendly movements, their lifetime repair program, and their resale website. I think the overall quality of the products is on par with other outdoor brands with similar pricing. The second most common complaint we heard at our store was that the famous Nanopuff jackets tear easily if you run into something sharp (such as keys in your pocket). It is a fairly sensitive fabric for being an outdoor jacket, but they acknowledge that and offer free repairs for it. The most common complaint was about sizing. Specifically women's sizing, usually in regards to Patagonia's bottoms. I will just put it simply: it's all over the place and the size chart is not very accurate. I think that trying any of their products, particularly bottoms, should be done in-person, in a store, before purchasing. If you have curves DEFINITELY try everything on before purchasing. I have a 25" waist and 36" hips and muscular thighs, and I have exactly one pair of pants from them and they're sweatpants because nothing else fits like an actual article of clothing.

  • Great products and mostly worth the price point. I have a variety of clothing items from them and all have kept the high quality delivery of function and form. The sizing can be a little off though, since it seems that I land in between sizes, so that's a tradeoff for some of the clothing items that I've purchased in the past.

  • You simply can't beat the customer service Patagonia offers. When full price, items are on the more expensive side but they factor in fair wages across their business, organic and low impact materials, replacement/repairs, and give back to the communities and planet they do business in. Their gear ranges from casual cozy street styles to super technical pieces. Truly a model in the business game and you gotta give their Provisions food line a try!

  • Great quality, higher end products. I own a few thermal long sleeves and a vest.

  • One of my favorite brands of all time. I love patagonia products and love their mission and actual follow through even more. I’ve also had a number of items replaced or repaired for free after years of wear. More brands taking action for the planet like this please.

  • Quality products that withstand absolutely anything! Company also has a great message and they actually put their money where their mouth is, which is rare for a huge corporation. Definitely on the pricier side for the average consumer, but worth it in my opinion.

  • Absolutely love the weight and warmth of my patagonia pullover. It is my go to in the fall, warm enough but not so hot that you have to shed a layer.

  • I have a couple hoodies and zip ups and the quality is AMAZING. I love that they hold up well through many washes and wears. They are a pretty expensive brand but I would definitely recommend treating yourself if you have the extra cash! They have many pieces that are worth the investment.

  • I love my jackets. They look super sleek, professional and always keeps me warm.
