Patagonia earns overwhelmingly positive reviews and proves itself a good brand: gear is exceptionally durable, warm, and versatile across activities, with standouts like the Nano Puff, Better Sweater, Synchilla fleeces, Atom Sling, and Black Hole bags. Reviews also flag drawbacks—frequent comments on high pricing, inconsistent or tricky sizing (especially women’s bottoms), occasional fleece pilling and Nano Puff snags, a few wind/waterproof performance gaps, and muted styling for some tastes—making in‑store try‑ons and product selection key.

I first purchased Patagonia when on a trip. I was surprised at the comfort and have purchased more of their apparel.
I love my Patagonia jacket that I purchased a few years ago! It’s super cute, and so comfortable! I’m a busy mom, so I only purchase clothing that I can feel comfortable and cute in while chasing kids haha! It was pricey, but so worth the price!
I love their mission and how they treated their employees during Covid. I think this is just my body shape but their clothes (jackets - outer and soft ones) make me look boxy. Just not flattering on me. Arcteryx makes more flattering ones for my body type but are also more expensive.
I love Patagonia. This is the most brand loyalty that I have - I am a huge fan of Patagonia products and their mission. Their jackets last forever and I love them - they have something for every lifestyle/occasion.
I’ve never had a bad experience with any product or customer service team. I love their mission and their unwavering dedication to it. Their products are on the high end of price points, but their quality is great and they have a repair program!

I already loved Patagonia products before diving into their story, but their philosophy and mission made me love them more. If you haven't listed to Yvon Chouinard on the How I Built This podcast, I would highly recommend. Really quality products, love that they encourage sustainability and reuse/recycle and help make that accessible for more people, and appreciate that they're always innovating/improving. All of my Patagonia gear (vest, jacket, backpack) have held up for years and years.
I don't think I need to say anything. Patagonia is an amazing company, brand, and their products are amazing. They have an awesome repair program that helps keep your equipment to last longer than any other pieces.
Patagonia products last YEARS, are generally sustainable, and are cute and quality. One of my warmest and favorite puffer jackets is from them. I love their conservation and sustainability efforts, and that they’re transparent. They are by no means perfect, but they’re certainly one of the best options for outdoor gear.

Patagonia’s prices are the one thing that makes them inaccessible for a lot of people, but it is worth it in my opinion for products that will last for years.

Patagonia has always been a top choice for me for parkas, shells, fleece and ski clothes. I've had so many down coats and shells and always love them. Love how well they're made and how well they fit. I also love how the company stands behind it's products. I've sent back plenty of coats with bad zippers and they always replace them. The company is easy to work with and there are so many great products. Lately I've worn some of their work wear and found it to be sturdy and comfortable.

I find the fleeces, backpacks, winter layers and winter coats to be some of their best products. Zippers sometimes stop working, but they always replace them. I'm a big fan of most things by Patagonia.
Live, Laugh, Love Patagonia. Synchilla Snap-T pullover is a closet staple, I found a 2XL on clearance 5 few years ago and it is the first thing I reach for when there's a cold snap. Thick enough that I don't to need to layer, provides enough wind protection, and the oversized version means I can let my dog cuddle. Baggies are best shorts I've ever owned, great for outdoor recreation, swim meets, gardening, etc. Great customer support, and dedication to sustainability through their repairs process. They offer gear patches, on-site repairs for minor issues, or you can mail them your item and they'll repair/mend it so it's functional and good as new. Honorable mention: Blackhole duffle. This thing has taken me places a regular suitcase could never. 65L with backpack straps makes it so easy to maneuver airports with large luggage. 40L perfect weekend bag.
Feedback
Price point makes it slightly unattainable, but a great investment for yourself or gift. Got my sister a 40L duffle and it's all she uses for weekend trips.
Everything I own from Patagonia is great quality, even after years of wear and tear. Since the items are so versatile for every day wear and also for outdoor activities, they definitely get a lot of use. I especially love that these products are designed to last and that you can go to a store to have them repair a zipper or tear for you.
Nice quality, good looking clothing well worth the price!
Great, durable products that withstand the test of time!
I have a couple jackets/pullovers from here, a winter coat and some pack it up legging. All of them get used weekly!

10/10 rec- just try it and if you end up disliking( you will most likely love everything) anything they have wonderfully costumer support staff.

Every Patagonia product I've owned has been high quality and completely worth the money. I also love Worn Wear; I've submitted old products and used the money from those to buy a new-to-me vest on Worn Wear. The fleeces are a highlight of their collection for me.
What is there to say? High quality, reliable products, it's an all-timer brand. Have had many products from them over the years. Always worth it.
Recently treated myself to a Patagonia wetsuit. They are leaders in sustainability, which I love. I've had many wetsuits over the years and can honestly say this one was worth the splurge.
I own so many jackets from them. I love them. They're so comfy and warm. Their mission is great. Glad to see them stray away from the techie wear too.

Nothing. They have such a good return policy and will even fix your items.

I’ve had my thin Patagonia puffer for 5 years and it keeps me warm and fits so well! Recommend purchasing to anyone!
