Patagonia earns overwhelmingly positive reviews and proves itself a good brand: gear is exceptionally durable, warm, and versatile across activities, with standouts like the Nano Puff, Better Sweater, Synchilla fleeces, Atom Sling, and Black Hole bags. Reviews also flag drawbacks—frequent comments on high pricing, inconsistent or tricky sizing (especially women’s bottoms), occasional fleece pilling and Nano Puff snags, a few wind/waterproof performance gaps, and muted styling for some tastes—making in‑store try‑ons and product selection key.

i get the patagucci hype
Patagonia is an outstanding brand that stands out for its commitment to environmental sustainability and ethical production practices. Their outdoor clothing and gear are not only high-quality and durable but also designed with functionality in mind, making them perfect for both adventure enthusiasts and everyday wear. I've been particularly impressed with their insulation jackets and hiking apparel, which offer great warmth without compromising on breathability.
Patagonia puts its money where its mouth is!! Not only does the clothing last, but it also does exactly what it's meant to do - whether the clothing is meant to keep you warm, dry, or cool. The clothing lasts FOREVER too! I've had 1 fleece zip-up jacket for over 10 years, and it doesn't have any significant damage despite heavy wear almost every year. Even though the price may look steep up front, it pays off as you get SO many wears out of each piece of clothing. The icing on top of the cake is how well they stick to their mission to be climate-friendly and treat their employees well (with great pay, generous benefits, etc.). Patagonia is worth it every single time!
had same jacket for years, great quality
LOVE, that’s all I have to say
High quality and classic timeless look
100% worth the money, very high quality products. the clothes are cute and durable and the food is surprisingly great as well! love the tinned fish

Tried and true with unbeatable quality.
I have multiple clothing items from Patagonia and think they are all high quality, sustainable and intentionally designed. I've had the classic full zip jacket for 7+ years and it's still doing great. I am a petite, curvy woman and at times I do find their clothes to not be designed for people with my type of body verse the athletic/taller individuals. I'll still continue to shop there and be mindful of sizing.

Very high quality clothing and a great mission alongside it. Yes they’re a little more expensive but worth it both for longevity and because their climate goals are so laudable. They also have a great used market where you can score some great deals and give a second life to a garment.
All of the items I own from them are very warm and have held up so well!
Everything I’ve tried has been really true to size and worth the time/effort/money. I wear a lot of it while hiking and/or walking around in my cold north Eastern city. Highly recommend. And love their mission to sustainability
I have been a fan of Patagonia for years and still wear jackets I purchased long ago. Fantastic quality and craftsmanship.
I have a 3 in 1 parka from them I've owned for 6 years and LOVE. I've only detached it to wear as separates once but it's really easy to do so or put back together. It was my daily coat (rain, shine, snow, ice) when I lived in the northeast and still looks as new as the day I got it. I want to get a new one finally just because I've outgrown the color I have (even though it is neutral lol) I also am a huge fan of the better sweater which I own a few of (quarter zip and full zip). They are so warm and cozy! The only thing is maybe they're not great at keeping the wind out but I wouldn't expect them to anyway without a shell of some kind. The re-tool sweater is also insanely cozy but also doesn't block any wind. I live in the south now so all my old patagonia "fall clothes" are now my winter clothes ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Such a high-quality, ethical, and long-lasting product. I have new Patagonias I got as swag from events, old ones I inherited from my relatives, and everything in between. They last forever, are comfy, and so functional!
My Patagonia clothes always help me beat intense weather. I am always warm and dry.
my whole family and friends love this perfect winter coats and rain jackets - even use to ski ! amazing seaters as well
Does anyone really not like this company? You have a lifetime warranty, they literally are trying to be the most environmentally conscious company in the outdoor apparel space, they've helped lead innovation around recycling materials....whats not to love?!

I don't have enough good things to say about patagonia - I love what they stand for and how strong of a stance they take on issues that affect us all.
I discovered Patagonia when I started hiking regularly, and I now own their windbreakers, rainwear, fleece, and winter jackets. I love the quality, they last forever. I also have the travel bag and the backpack from Patagonia, and they are very functional and durable. I love the brand's values, and their focus on sustainability is important to me. So five stars. The 'Let My People Go Surfing" book by Yvon Chouinard is an awesome read too.
