Fans praise the rich mouthfeel, neutral-to-oaty flavor, and versatility across baking, cereal, and smoothies; critics cite seed/rapeseed oils, gums/additives, sweetness, and occasional digestive upset as drawbacks. • I do really like this milk, however, it is quite thick (even the original). If you want to not notice you are drinking oat milk in your cuppa so much, this is not the one. It is nice in coffee as it is creamy. The chocolate milk is lush and is especially nice warmed up as a hot chocolate.

  • Oatly has successfully mastered the art of transforming oats into a luscious and nourishing beverage. The consistency is pleasantly creamy and smooth, making it a fantastic alternative to dairy milk. Not only does it shine in coffee and cereal, but Oatly’s subtle sweetness and oat flavor also work wonders in cooking and baking. Moreover, it's a nutritional powerhouse with its fiber-rich profile, often fortified with vitamins. Environmental enthusiasts will appreciate Oatly’s dedication to sustainability. While some may find the taste a bit different initially, most find it easy to embrace this delightful option. Oatly proves to be more than just a milk alternative - it's a delicious and versatile staple for any kitchen.

One of the standout features is their lactose-free products, catering to those with lactose intolerance and providing a delicious alternative for dairy lovers. And let's not forget about their mouthwatering lactose-free ice cream options that are sure to satisfy any sweet tooth. With Oatly, the choices are endless, offering a wide variety of products to suit every taste and dietary preference. If you're on the lookout for a dairy-free option that doesn't compromise on flavor, Oatly is the way to go.

  • Yum!! I love oat milk and Oatly has the cutest packaging in the store, so I find myself gravitating towards it. It is a great addition to any cup of coffee or bowl of cereal!

  • Love Oatly!! It's super creamy and rich and is perfect for making a coffee or matcha. I have to say this is one of my favorite oat milk brands.

  • I think this oatmilk has the best flavour/creaminess of the bunch. I even converted my husband, a ~dairy enthusiast~ to it. Great in iced coffee's/chai especially.

  • Oatly is probably my favorite oat milk brand next to Califa Farms and whatever that Trader Joes one is. I don't love identifying with the brand as they sort of became the face of gentrification in Brooklyn with their huge ads so it's sort of like a guilty thing but I only drink oat milk now of days and this is one of the better ones.

  • Love the brand, not a fan of the taste. I get it and will still order oat milk lattes from time to time but normally a pass from me.

  • My favorite Oat Milk ever. It is super thick and perfect for coffees. I personally prefer oatmilk over all other alternatives and this is the best one I have found.

  • It’s good for what it is but I think it has a weird aftertaste that I just can’t get over. So 4 stars for me.

  • Love the packaging and the messages it brings, always makes me smile to read it. The oat milk is delish and makes a great oat latte as well as it foams enough.

  • I LOVE Oatly. I make protein shakes with oat milk and they come out creamy and delicious. I’ve used other oat milks but I can attest that Oatly is really top notch.

  • Ok, let's get real - oat milk is never going to taste like half and half in your coffee. But, once you swallow (ahem) that bitter pill, Oatly is actually quite nice. The size of the package is also more convenient than some of the other brands' larger half gallon sizes.

  • The barista version is my favorite. I use Oatly in everything - coffee, smoothies, recipes!

  • Consistently my preferred brand of oatmilk. Creamier than other brands and holds up well in tea.

  • Oatly is my fave! I am lactose intorlerant so I can't comsume regular milk. Oatly is delicious

  • Oatly is the superior barista milk 100%. I have a different brand that I prefer for everyday stuff at home, but as a barista, Oatly is the best for coffee. It foams really nicely and is pleasantly thick. It also has the best flavor! A lot of barista oatmilks are really watery and, well, oaty, but this milk blends really nicely into the coffee to give a foamy latte!

Generally, they seem pretty sustainable. Oatmilk is a far more sustainable industry than dairy as far as production goes, and I know that they coat their boxes in sugarcane rather than plastic for some of their products. It would be nice to see 100% sustainable and recyclable packaging since I know their milk packaging specifically still contains plastic.
