  • Cool story, great cakes. We get them every bday celebration in the house. Winter is the best time to try because the peppermint chocolate cake is pure luxury. Truffles, cakes, peppermint cookies, all favs. Skip the corn cookie it tastes like hard overly sweet cornbread

  • The products I have tried are extremely yummy. Not the *most* clean ingredients but they also aren't mainstream.

  • I have a strong sweet tooth personally, so I really enjoy Milk Bar when I can. I prefer the ice creams overall but have had their cookies and cakes before. I would say the ice cream pints are fun gifts if anything for first-timers to try but if you also want to treat someone (or yourself) to something above your usual Ben & Jerry's pint.

  • Great for gifts and fun flavors. I’m gluten free so I like that they have a couple of options for GF but I wash there were a few more. The cake bites are tasty!

  • Let’s face it, Milk Bar is totally delicious. It’s really for the best indulgence.

  • I'm close the store in DC and have been there multiple times - always good. The compost cookies are the best thing. The cookies are super delicious, and the ice cream is super fun flavored as well! I love how unapologetically fun and young all the concepts and flavors are. Must try!

  • The most delicious sweets and always innovative and different flavors. Love that they ship if you’re far from a store

  • Awesome Baked goods, with great packaging perfect for sending to loved ones.

  • I have not been impressed by the Milk Bar products yet. Entirely too sweet and expensive for what it is. I have tried their consumer products as well as their "in store" offerings and felt the same for both. They set up a ghost kitchen out of a trailer on a parking lot across the street from my building and the quality was horrible. This same trailer also made a huge range of food so everything had a lingering grease smell.

  • Very sugary and that’s coming from someone with a huge sweet tooth. Plus not awesome ingredients…

  • I love Christina Tosi. I have had her birthday flavor and it’s delicious. The cookies are amazing. It’s very expensive, but being a pastry chef, I get it. Def worth the splurge!

  • I have visited Milk Bar once in person but have more experience with their online ordering. It makes for a nice luxury treat for folks who live outside of cities with a physical location but you will be paying a very pretty penny. When I get it for people, they always love it as the presentation and it's always a welcome addition to adult gatherings. The birthday cake is pricey and a bit underwhelming in taste but the the cookie dough balls you can order are AMAZING and I highly recommend getting them for party guests (or yourself) when ordering one of these. Shipping is fast, comes when expected and isn't excessive despite being especially made for perishable food.

  • Tasty, great flavors, a bit hyper sweet for me but man are they a great treat and folks love them as gifts

  • I have purchased Milkbar cookies in person, cake truffles shipped to me, and the commercial cookies and cake balls at Target. I think my favorite has been the birthday cake flavor, but it is all quite fun and tasty. I was thrilled that Target carries Milkbar products. I think the only items I have left to try are the ice creams and cookies mixes! Definitely looking forward to it.

  • Milkbar baffles me, personally. The cookies taste like packaged artificial grocery store cookies, the cakes are really, really sweet, and the cereal milk ice cream tastes like I'm eating someone's leftover cereal... This is one of those brands that I've tried repeatedly to love, but alas, it's not for me. I do love the branding and appreciate the artistry and creative flavors that go into Milkbar. Although I personally am not a fan of the sweetness-levels, their cakes still make a perfect special occasion gift to send.

  • Every time I'm in NYC, I stop by Milkbar. Their cereal milk ice cream is amazing. Cookies and other treats are also delicious. Minus one because it is pretty expensive, and the desserts are SO rich that sometimes they give me an immediate stomach ache... That may just be me...

  • Their birthday cake is the only cake I ever want for my birthday. Some of my friends find it too sweet so skip if you aren’t into super sweet desserts.
