Milk Bar reviews and discussion

I’ve only tried their pre packaged cookies sold in the grocery store but they are not my favorite. They are very soft and have an odd taste.

Yummy, very sweet treats

Conceptually very fun but their bakery offerings differ from what is offered at Target (packaged goods). I like the compost cookie and the soft serve but have tried their grocery store cookies and they are just not the same.

I’ve had lots of milkbar products over the years (a friend even had a cake from them for her wedding!), and most of their products are great. I recently tried the truffle crumb cakes, and they were delicious but almost too sweet. Overall, good brand.

Milkbar is good, however some of their items are overly sweet. I love the flavor combinations, but I often feel a little sick after eating their cookies/truffles.

Delicious! A bit pricey but when you try making them on your own with the cookbook you'll understand why.

Overrated for sure. I had the cookies and they were just okay, lacking flavor. They have fun concepts and cute ideas.

It was ok, very sweet (overly so). I don't think I will go back but I don't regret my purchase.

birthday cake is the best!

The milk bar pie is one of the best desserts ever! The cookies were ok, but it’s the pie that makes this bakery.

I might just be an outlier here… I have friends that’s love Milk Bar, but it just wasn’t for me. I’m a sugar loving girl, don’t get me wrong, but to lean more toward richer chocolate flavors. MB’s flavors were too sickly sweet for me. Delivering in the promise of their premise, the food did have that saturated “milk left over in a bowl of sugary cereal” taste. It just didn’t translate well to cookies and cake for me. If you’re more of a dark chocolate person, this probably isn’t for your pallet.

So addicting. I’m obsessed with the little truffle three packs and can’t get enough of the fun seasonal flavors. My favorite milk bar product is the cereal soft serve though as well as the yummy sugar pie slice.

The cookies are okay & I find the ice cream at their locations to be better than what you will get at your local Whole Foods. I know people love their products, but I find them to be lacking.

The cereal milk soft serve is definitely a fun treat. But the cookies and other packaged goods just feel so processed and stale. The fact that they sell these individually packaged cookies at their brick and mortar stores rather than fresh ones (like Levain) is a little disappointing to say the least.

Ordered some cookies via Snackmagic, would have rather had a cookie mix vs the pre-made cookies. will go to in person bakery

I absolutely love this brand of baked goods and treats. Every time I’m in Las Vegas I stopped at cosmopolitan to go to milk bar specifically. If you love, cereal and milk, this is a place for you.

sweet and yummy

as much as i wanted to like Milk Bar products, I've yet to try something that truly blew me away. they are not bad by ANY means, i just had very high hopes only to be met with an average experience.

The crack pie is one of my favorite desserts ever. Milk Bar is a great gift for birthdays!

Such fun and delicious treats! Unfortunately I don't live in the states so they're not accessible to me. Love that they share recipes on their website as well.
