  • I wanted to love this, but unfortunately the taste was just not it. I'm always looking for interesting snacks (mostly for me, but also snacks to show my friends because I love to host). I think I'm just not here for chicory root.

    Taste!

  • I was sceptical at first but pleasantly surprised with these. I also love to this day, the special bowl and spoon, I received with one of my orders. Nice touch and the perfect addition.

  • Good taste and great packaging.

Taste is slightly chalky and is close but doesn’t totally hit the spot against normal cereal.

  • Not as tasty as I had hoped, but a nice start on a product for their target market.

  • I love the packaging and intention of this cereal but overall it is incredible sweet! While it does have a lot of bonuses (like gluten free, high protein) I just couldn't get over how sweet it was.

    Less sugary focused flavors!

  • As a cereal lover, I wanted to Love this- but all the flavors had a gross artificial aftertaste to me. Sweet in the bad way, I couldnt even get my kids on board, (and man, did I try!)

  • I was really curious about this brand and ordered a sample box. It was…fine, I guess. The flavors were either okay or…not good. I liked the cinnamon but really did not like chocolate and frosty. So here’s the thing… If you’re pretty hard core low carb and miss cereal, this is perfect for you. Otherwise, if you’re looking for something to truly replace “regular” cereal, this probably isn’t it. I’m okay with occasionally eating cereal, so I’d rather just have a bowl of something I like a couple times a year. 🤷🏻‍♀️

  • Love the packaging - however, it's very big... wish it was smaller. Also I wish they had other shapes, I think it would make you feel like the taste is better. Flavors are pretty interesting. Hits the craving for healthy cereal, but isn't like cereal that you'll be going back for 2nds and 3rds and 4ths.

  • tastes alright. was expecting more. not crunch instead soft cereal. great flavor options. wish more smaller packages were sold.

  • I've been a dedicated Magic Spoon customer over the past 3 years, and over the years their product has been glaringly inconsistent—from taste to texture, and even color. Every 4 box subscription in the last few months I've received has been different and can't say I would continue subscribing. I love their concept and their branding is whip-smart, but the product just falls flat for me. I would say their chocolate and frosted flavors are closest to staying consistent, but others are far from desirable. The fake sugary taste in particular has been an issue.

  • I love cereal and this brand is actually pretty good. I wouldn't put them above my favorite classics but they are a great low carb alternative. After trying a lot of their flavors, I think their frosted and fruity flavors are the best.

Some flavors taste very artificial. But thats a personal taste thing.

  • I tried all of the flavors in the subscription box when I first tried Magic Spoon and found that overall Cocoa is my definite favorite (it tastes the most like regular chocolate cereal). I definitely notice a difference in my hunger when I eat this cereal vs. a regular low protein cereal, so it's a really nice way to have an easy breakfast.

I wish the other flavors weren't so super sweet, otherwise I would've liked them. Because of the high sweetness flavor though, I'm a little afraid to try new flavors when they're released.

  • Recently tried Magic Spoon, and the rep. lived up to the experience. It was super tasty and beautiful.

  • I really only rated it 3 over 4 because of the price point. It is good, and filling. Some flavors have a bit of a protein-shake-y aftertaste but I overall did enjoy it and love that it's super filling. But, will I buy it again? Probably not worth the splurge for me.

  • I tried the fruity flavor and the taste was fine but very light. What I hated about it is how it sticks to you teeth immediately. The texture is very odd.

  • The best sugar-free, grain-free product ever. Favorite breakfast of all time. GET THIS.

  • I really really really wanted to like this cereal. I hate that eating a delicious cereal usually means the equivalent of eating candy with milk. This cereal is fantastic in terms of nutrition when paired with other cereal. It honestly tastes a lot better than I thought it would, being sweetened with no calorie sweeteners and all, and while there was a bit of a strange aftertaste it was not too bad. It obviously tasted different but was pretty close to the flavor of the cereals it was trying to emulate. It did however stick to my teeth more than usual cereal does, and more than I liked. Not sure if this was only a problem for me but did not like having to pick out bits of cereal that got stuck on the tops of my teeth.

The worst part of the cereal for me is that it is made using whey protein. This made my stomach hurt on occasions and even made me more comfortable with my bathroom the first time I tried and had too big of a serving. I wish there was a better way for them to get protein in there. The price is also a big concern at almost $10/box.

  • I've seen so many advertisements about a cereal that is healthy for you and is nutrient dense with protein. I've tried 3 flavors, fruity tuitty, blueberry, and cacao. I enjoyed the blueberry one the best. The other two are just okay.

    Feedback

The taste can be a bit grainy and because they use whey protein, will cause some irritation if your stomach is sensitive to whey

  • My friends turned me on to this cereal since her kids love it. I absolutely love all the flavors and the fact that it’s not terrible for you. Hopefully my little guy will as soon as he starts to enjoy solids
