Magic Spoon largely satisfies those seeking a healthier, high‑protein, low‑sugar riff on nostalgic cereals, according to reviews, but it is not universally loved. Reviewers praise its 13g protein per serving, gluten‑free/grain‑free formulas, fun flavors like Fruity, Cocoa, Cinnamon Roll, and Maple Waffle, and cheerful packaging; common complaints cite an artificial or stevia/monk‑fruit aftertaste, gummy texture that sticks to teeth, flavor inconsistency (especially some chocolate/peanut butter variants), limited satiety for some, and very small, pricey boxes.

So I love the idea of this. But not sure how much in actuality. I would give it 3.5 stars. The flavors are okay sometimes a little subtle. I think they taste better plain or with yogurt than with milk which makes me feel like there is an oil texture. I have tried multiple flavors. They are passable and not bad for a health food. Just doesn’t quite squash my cereal cravings.
Feedback
Better in milk texture? Less subtle flavors??
Tastes great. Very similar to Name brand cereals.

You don't get much in the box. It's a pretty steep price for cereal. I honestly wouldn't get it again because of that.
Taste is okay, macros are great. Depends on your priorities.
I REALLY wanted to like this. And if you kind of close your eyes and eat fast, you do! The flavors are *almost* there, but have a bit of graininess and too-sweetness that (like other reviewers are saying) feels a bit protein-powdery. That said, I got a three pack and I ended up eating all three boxes. My boyfriend boycotted, but the fun of snacking on a nostalgic cereal that felt good for me overpowered the almost-thereness of the flavor. I'd buy again but maybe be more thoughtful about the flavors!

I’ll say this… if you like cereal and you’re looking for a keto friendly cereal, this is it. HOWEVER, 3 stars for me because I cannot cannot cannottttttt get over the fact that it gets stuck to your teeth so horribly. After every bite, I would have to “clear” my teeth before the next spoonful. I wouldn’t purchase again unless I was desperately on a keto diet again and craving cereal. Flavors are great. The fruity one reminds me of Fruity Pebbles, chocolate was pretty delish but, can’t do the texture-getting-stuck-in-teeth thing

Texture :( or somehow, avoid from it getting super stuck to your teeth.
Overall pretty solid. Love the colors branding and vibes. It's crunchy and delicious. Fav flavor is frosted and fruity hands down. Pb wasn't great. A bit pricey but I think it's worth given the protein and low sugar. great for snacking or just eating without milk too
Feedback
gets stuck in my teeth which is pretty nasty. I don't like the feel of that at all. I ask their CX about it and they said it was a "me" problem and that I had an allergic reaction... really strange response.
this stuff was nasty

Love the nutritional profile of this. I don't normally eat breakfast, but I eat a bowl of Magic Spoon cereal as an afternoon snack sometimes. The limited edition flavors are great and keep me coming back.

They are a bit pricey if you eat cereal daily as breakfast. The cereal also does stick to your teeth a bit, but I'll take that trade-off for low-carb, high-protein.
The flavors are decent. Cookies and cream being my favorite. I really wanted to like the maple more but it has an alcohol-like aftertaste, the kind you get with too much flavor extract. I’d rate it higher but my stomach always got upset after eating these cereals. I’m not lactose intolerant and I always had this with the same nut milk I drink every day, so it must be the fiber or some other additive they use. I have a friend that loves all their stuff though, so to each their own.

I was so excited to try these after hearing ads all over various podcasts but I was disappointed in the flavors. We tried the the 4-pack variety + a honey nut. They all had an "off" flavor to them — almost like a hint of banana. We only got through the Cocoa which was better than the other three. Where other traditional cereals may leave a film of sugar coating your mouth, these left a film of cereal coating my teeth after eating it.

It's a great alternative for those that can't have gluten, but it is a sacrifice in taste. I'd love to see flavors that more closely match the unhealthy alternatives.
Trying to find a high protein cereal is quite the challenge, so I was super excited to try Magic Spoon plus the packaging is colorful and fun. I liked the fruity (tastes almost just like fruit loops!) and blueberry flavors.

Texture could improve and I wish it didn't stick to teeth as much.
Taste was a bit chalky and artificial at first but it grew on me. I liked having Magic Spoon in my pantry as a quick and easy way to add extra protein in my diet and as a low sugar snack. I'm considering placing another order.

Love the branding
I caved and bought a pack after a long time since I’d heard so much about this brand. I was initially hesitant because of the steep price tag, as $39 for 4 boxes of cereal seems like an awful lot. I loved the concept and branding of the cereal, as I love fun cereal but know it’s not the most sustainable breakfast option. I enjoyed the fact that this product is a “better-for-you” cereal that kept me satiated through the mornings.

Overall, I liked the cereal but would probably not purchase it again unless it were more readily available in a grocery store. I understand that sometimes taste has to be sacrificed in the name of health but the cereal tasted a little too artificial for my liking and the texture could probably be improved as well.
i love cereal & know i should eat more healthy cereal (ie bran type with more fiber & less sugar). for anyone interested bc i know this cereal leans twrd certain “diets,” & people may want to purchase just for that reason, i do not follow any keyo, paleo type thing. i just love cereal. i eat it for dinner a lot bc i tend to eat very late & don’t like anything super heavy. i also like eat dry cereal as a snack. i purchased the variety pack, blueberry, chocolate, fruity & frosted. i tried the frosted 1st & it was good not great. left that sort of coating in your mouth. i tried without milk & just way to sweet. next, blueberry, which i really wanted to like bc heard lot ppl say was their fave. i also ate 1/2 bowl & didn’t like it, not only the artificial sweetener coating in my mouth but the flavor was bad. feel things going dwn hill but i thought the last 2 would def be a flavor i like esp as snack. fruity i spit out taste bad mix of fruit flavor didnt go together. the chocolate is unopened in my pantry.
Feedback
i think now variety pack has peanut butter instead of blueberry but that wasn’t yet a flavor when i purchased. they also seem to offer seasonal flavors which i know i wouldn’t like but that’s just personal preference (just an fyi should anyone be interested to keep an eye out around holidays) not sure how they could improve as just ingredients in recipe i didn’t like. they do charge shipping unless you buy a lot of boxes which i don’t like bc not able try 1 flavor & its already quite more expensive than regular cereal then add shipping

Pretty tasty! It definitely has a "healthier-protein" taste to it but I don't mind it. Still good enough for me to choose as a healthier alternative to other sugary cereals. Has a good crunch texture.
Cereal is among the things I miss most (and sourdough bread!) since discovering I have a significant gluten intolerance. The sound of cereal hitting a bowl and the distinct crunch is like magic. That said, most of the flavors are too sweet for my taste (more of a plain cereal girl than a Fruit Loops kinda kid), and one of the ingredients leaves a bit of a filmy mouthfeel.

I'd love something closer to Chex or Cheerios or something less cloying among the flavors!

I think Magic spoon is super creative and they've definitely created a good product for people who LOVE cereal, maybe for kids? But as an adult i find it superrr sweet, quite sticky on chew, and none of the flavors really appeal to me. Plus the per box price is a little steep for cereal.

Really wanted to love this, but think it tastes like cardboard. My boyfriend is obsessed. It's fine if you're looking for a very plain & fake-sugar tasting keto-friendly version of cereal. Do not recommend if you are looking for something that actually tastes like the cereal of your childhood.

Major taste improvements

Flavors are very good all around. Even though they are using sugar alcohols, you don't get a lot of the nasty aftertaste that they normally cause. Overall, I think it's a great choice to replace traditional cereals.
Feedback
They are so heavy in protein powder that they stick to your teeth for a long time after finishing. That's pretty annoying.

I had high hopes but it tasted worse than cardboard (I'm hyperbolizing here but I'm sad). I wanted a better alternative to the Apple Jacks and the other kid's cereal I grew up on and this....is not.

Improve the flavor profiles! I get its healthier but it tastes too healthy! Let me indulge a bit more (I'm eating cereal here).
