Lush earns polarizing reviews: aficionados praise its standout bath bombs, indulgent scrubs (Scrubee, Ocean Salt, Magic Crystals), beloved staples like Dream Cream, Celestial, and Mask of Magnaminty, plus vegan/eco-minded practices and fun in‑store testing. Detractors cite overpowering, sometimes irritating fragrances, inconsistent efficacy (notably some skincare, conditioners, and shampoo bars), product discontinuations, and occasional staining or messy residue from bombs—making the brand better for gifts and sensorial self‑care than results‑driven routines.

I love Lush. I'm a Lush girlie. American Cream is the greatest perfume to exist on the face of the earth, hands-down, period. It lasts all day, it smells unlike anything else, I love it. I haven't bought any other perfume in the last year and I don't plan on doing so in the future. She's the one. Like I said, I'm a Lush girlie, but we've got to talk about the face masks I'm afraid. Every time I go to lush for a scout of the face masks I overhear Mask of Magnaminty being recommended as a great choice of mask for acne-prone skin and I have to bite my tongue to stop myself from blurting out that the mask contains known pore-clogging ingredients. Talc does not belong on acne-prone skin, it just doesn't. I get why it's in formulas, but it feels a tad unethical to me for Lush to be recommending this product to people whose skin is most likely going to be irritated by the mask. I'm not here to drag Lush as a brand - their products are great, the scents are always wonderful and their haircare range is incredible (shout-out to Super Milk). I just always feel the need to call out pore-clogging skincare being marketed towards acne sufferers.
I think I have tried every face scrub that Lush has come out with. Still trying to find that "go to". It was okay, nothing that I would rave about. I have used it as a face wash and face mask. I feel like it leaves a thick layer of oil, which for some is probably moisturizing. It also does not remove my make up! I would not buy it again and I will continue to search!
Love the scents of the products and all the shop when you enter. Love the ethos and one of the first brands out there in the street to be more eco conscious and vegan. But in the past when I was hardcore into 100% natural products I discovered some ingredients in their ingredients I wasn’t so keen on. Anyway, I am not as obsessive about all the ingredients at moment in my skin products and this brand is lovely. My most favourite smell was/is karma body lotion. And some of the cream bars are amazing smelling, too.
I love the face and body scrub! I concentrate it around my nose, and really helps me get rid of black heads. It overall leaves my skin feeling soft and extra clean!
So many good bath bombs. They have a solid body lotion coin that smells amazing too.
Bath bombs are great and so are their body washes with great scents, but their face masks and lotions i've noticed don't last very long and you have to start using them RIGHT away otherwise they go bad and have to be thrown out relatively quickly.

With a brand offering so many products, there are bound to be some hits and misses, but overall I love Lush. Their hair soap and facial masks are amazing, and the in-store experience is always a wild ride.
I love bathbombs and lush is always my go to! They leave your skin feeling incredible and super luxurious. Also love their face masks and cucumber eye pads are always a treat!
I have been shopping at Lush for many years now, back when they weren't even in Australia and I could only shop them when I went to England! They have always been such a sustainable brand that sets so many innovative trends. I have never had to worry about the ingredients as they are always the most natural and harm-free ingredients. I would highly recommend Lush if you are conscious about the ingredients that your skin absorbs, but I would also recommend them to everyone as their products are SO FUN! They also do the best gifts packs which honestly make for the best last minute pressie!

Love many of the products across varying lines that they have, especially combined with the mission for no-animal harm/testing! Big fan of how they give you samples if you're looking to try something out first. Some of the smells and a handful of products I'm less of a fan of (but that might just be personal preference). Some of my favorite products below: 1. bath bombs (although some can stain the bathtub a bit - nothing a good cleaning can't fix) -- I like their creativity with some of them that have flower petals, glitter, or even a little note for the bathtaker 2. orange balm hand cream - not greasy, smells amazing 3. ocean salt scrub - they have 2 kinds, great for exfoliating. 4. happy skin - an exfoliating/delicious smelling face scrub that I use after cleaning my face for that smooth goodness
I love how fragrant their bath products are, and I love their masks. Their soaps do lose scent over time, but they do seem dedicated to more sustainable body care and I think they're good for all ages!
Love the bar soaps ! Most scents are very captivating and cleansing! Love the colors too.

It was be great if they offered shower body brushes and envelope scubbers to hold the soaps when they get too small
I’m forever impressed with Lush and whatever they come out with next. The soaps leave your skin so soft and the bath bombs are a treat. Great gift to yourself and a friend.
Everything at Lush is wonderful. The products are clean and all natural. I like the bath and shower items as well as the body lotions and sprays.

The products are all great.
I’m not sure what’s not to love about Lush’s products!!! I’ve used lush products for years now including hair care, tooth tabs, exfoliators, lotion, and more. My hair is living proof that their ingredients are doing what the need to do! The conditioners leave my hair smelling amazing until my next wash. It’s wonderful to support sustainability as well as other social causes through donation pots.

Prices are slightly high, especially now that more and more sustainable products are on the market. Over the years, they have discontinued my fav products randomly without warning. I’m not sure why this is but I would appreciate more consistency.
It smells and feels goods to use on your body. I currently have the perpermint scrub & cleanser

This place is good when gifting for loved ones of a certain age -- preteens, teens, early twenties. Very easy to make a fun giftbag of goodies. Shopping in store is a bit of a sensory overload -- with scents being particularly overwhelming. They have a few products though that I do think are keepers. The Mask of magnaminty is an excellent clarifying and exfoliating mask. The fresh masks are fun in theory but ONLY if you plan on using them within 2 weeks because they do spoil and require re-fridgeration. There is also one hair treatment that I was pleasantly surprised by. The hot oil treatment/pre-poo is excellent. For reference, I am Black and have 3c/4a, low porosity hair. I do love that they have a program for recycling packaging material in exchange for masks
A personal preference, but their products are way overly scented with synthetic fragrances. That said, I appreciate their dedication to quality and the fact that each product is handmade.
I haven't bought anything from Lush in awhile!- BUT I do LOVE their bath bombs! I've used the 'Cup O´ Coffee' mask as well! Such a great smell!
I am still a faithful Lush fan, even after high school! Dream cream is my go-to when my eczema starts flaring up, and during the cold, dry winter months. The bath bombs are so fun and leave my skin so soft. And they have some great perfumes too!
