Lush earns polarizing reviews: aficionados praise its standout bath bombs, indulgent scrubs (Scrubee, Ocean Salt, Magic Crystals), beloved staples like Dream Cream, Celestial, and Mask of Magnaminty, plus vegan/eco-minded practices and fun in‑store testing. Detractors cite overpowering, sometimes irritating fragrances, inconsistent efficacy (notably some skincare, conditioners, and shampoo bars), product discontinuations, and occasional staining or messy residue from bombs—making the brand better for gifts and sensorial self‑care than results‑driven routines.

I like their products, but I think the fragrances are a bit too much sometimes. They're pricey too and for me it the prices didn't match the effects.
Lush is all time a favorite of my teenage daughter. The scents are spot on, especially the soaps. The gift packs are a perfect gift for anyone, and the head wraps are fun and fashionable.
The amazing scent on their products, I'm a fan of their body soap and bath products.

All of the products at Lush that I tried are great and of high quality. It is a little expensive, which means I would pick another beauty brand over them in a lot of cases. A surprisingly great product is their toothpaste jelly. The Soother flavor is lovely.
While I don't use Lush products on the regular, I have used them on and off for over a decade at this point. I think a big plus for this company is how easily accessible it is; odds are there's a Lush store closer to you than you think. While their products can be hit or miss, I love that they encourage customers to return their empty tubs to recycle them; it's a small gesture but it's great to see a more popular brand continue to do this. This is also a great store for gifts, especially their bathbombs or face masks.

Love what they do in the effort to help the environment. Great products and customer service

A lot of their products are creative ideas but don't really deliver in execution. Either the smell or general outcome is sub-par.

Focus on creating a really effective product and then explore alternative delivery methods. It seems like they do a lot of working backwards, finding a cool idea (tablet toothpaste, bar conditioner, etc.) and then ending up with an inadequate formula that sends me back to the less sustainable alternative.
I will probably use big shampoo until the day I die. It smells incredibly , my scalp is tingling clean after and my hair feels so good and full. I have been asked more than once what perfume I am wearing and I tell people it's just my shampoo.

These smells are so incredible. I have always loved the Karma and now use the gel and perfume. My favorite new item is the squeak shampoo. It has some crystals and really washes your hair and such another fabulous scent. I hope they make it into gel and perfume too. This store is divine and I can spend a day trying all of the things. Love this place!

My most favorite skin and hair care brand ever!
I’ve tried a handful of items from Lush & I enjoyed a good majority of them. I do love the stuff they have for kids- but it gets pricy! Great for an Easter basket or stocking or cute little gift. The product- I really did not like would be their shampoo bars- they told me I would get a certain number of washes from it & I followed all the directions and I got maybe 15 washes. It was expensive & a waste of money in my opinion. I also reached out to Lush- and they do NOT stand by their products! Refused to give/send a replacement or even really hear me out. Would’ve loved a refund/replacement- so their customer service is not good at all! I haven’t purchased anything since their shampoo bar. However, I do love is their various bath bombs- but they can be pricy! The gold one is a must try! I haven’t really tried any of their new products- but I will say some of their scents are amazing and long lasting! It’s a 3.5 for me- but we can’t do half circles so a 3 it is!
I love everything about Lush and their products. My favorites that I use daily are the candy rain conditioner and any of their bar soaps. I love the purple shampoo, face masks, bubble bars too. My other absolute favorites are the Scrubee and the the one with coconut. Also really like the massage bars.
Im a LUSH girly and got my daughter hooked too. Baths are boring without them. I honestly love so many of their products. Some people say they pricey but honestly you can make it worth it. To us we use the bubble bars like 4-5 times and bath bombs you can split up the really big ones.
The honey lip scrub tastes amazing and the pot lasts a long time. Mostly natural ingredients which is a big pro!
I used to be a huge fan of lush and i still am a fan of their products but i'm not sure they're worth the price anymore. I wouldn't go out of my way to purchase their products
I love the smell of the Glory hair conditioner, it's fresh and wonderful smelling. I have the shampoo bar called Soak and Float as well and it smells good and has lasted quite a while. I am on my 2nd tub of conditioner but my first shampoo bar. I don't notice a huge difference in the shampoo bar from other bars but the conditioner really makes my hair soft and manageable. Price wise they are a little spendy compared to regular branded shampoos and conditioners but they are better ingredients and a nice luxury to pamper yourself with.
I used to love Lush bath bombs. They are fun and smell great. I think you can find better products for less money.
This review is specifically for the Dream Cream since it's the only thing I've tried. It's pricey for what I usually spend on body lotion but I felt like treating myself. It is super soft and silky, and has a light scent that's hard to describe (the website says oat milk and lavender but I didn't really get much lavender), and frankly I don't think it's a scent that's broadly appealing but I didn't mind it. My skin is dry and I really liked using this right after a shower, my skin felt hydrated all day. I gave it 4/5 because I just don't like the packaging (I know it's Lush's thing). I prefer a tube or a pump for lotion rather than having to scoop it out with my fingers.
I like the coffee body scrub. It has a strong coffee smell. I didn’t like the after feeling. The price is not bad and it has good ingredients in it which is better than some scrubs out there.
Overall I have had positive experiences with this brand. They have a large variety of products to meet a vast array of needs

I can think of very few times I have had anything but a positive experience. Truly a great brand and I love what they stand for
