Liquid I.V. earns strong reviews for fast, noticeable hydration—especially after workouts, travel, heat, and hangovers—while convenient single-serve packets and broad flavor variety (Lemon Lime, Strawberry, Passion Fruit, Watermelon, Golden Cherry) stand out. However, many reviews flag overly sweet, sometimes salty flavors, a “thick” mouthfeel, undissolved grit, and high sugar/sodium; some prefer diluting with more water or the newer sugar‑free line, and a few question ingredient “cleanliness” or effectiveness versus competitors.

Not my favorite product like this but I know others love it. I find the flavors too strong

it does make you feel more hydrated but this could be accomplished by like just drinking a gatorade or pediatelite. I don't think this is as healthy as the branding makes it seem as there still sugar in it and it is not worth the price tag.

less sweet
They are suppppper salty tasting. I couldn’t get through it

More flavor less salt
Mixed results on flavors. Love the lemon lime and use it very frequently, but flavors like strawberry and pineapple are completely undrinkable
Fancy Millenial gatorade pouch. that's not an insult, I love gatorade. Definitely has a pronounced saltiness to it. The energy one with matcha is not my favorite, I call it swamp water. Needs some doctoring to make it palatable but I am also not the biggest matcha fan. The tangerine flavor is my favorite. Pricey when I'm pretty sure you could just add lemon and salt to your water and have a comparable result.
I love this stuff! I've tried a few flavors by now and I remember seeing sponsored content by creators when it first came out. My favorite is probably the strawberry lemonade, but I also love the matcha lemon one. These really help me out when I need a midday pick me up at work, but also were a lifesaver during my friends bachelorette party! I was drinking these all weekend!

The consistency to mix the matcha lemonade wasn't great but I feel like that's the only flavor I've had a problem with. It can get kinda clumpy but in the end does mix. Also I've found that they're all slightly salty but makes sense with the electrolytes.

I have low potassium levels so I’ve been drinking liquid IV to help boost them up in conjunction with other things. I can see a difference when I take these and usually feel a lot less dizzy when I do which has been so nice

The taste is a bit sweet for me so I often only use half of the packet and I kind of wish the flavors were more basic but I feel a difference in my energy levels and that is so great! Feel like it could maybe cheaper for what it is and they could use more sustainable packaging.
Listen, do they taste *amazing* to me? No., but they taste good enough and they do their job to keep me hydrated. Could I do with less sugar in it? Yes, for sure. Could we all just add a little pink himalayan or celtic sea salt to our drinks and have it do the same thing? Also yes, but sometimes this is easier.

I would love if the packaging could be compostable.

Best in a huge water bottle with tons of ice! But definitely makes me feel more hydrated and refreshed, especially after a night out.

Lemon-lime is the only flavor I can stomach!
Still my favorite hangover cure. Lemon Lime is elite.

My favorite electrolyte drink mix! I use this often pre, during, and post pregnancy to help keep my water intake and replenishment up. I find that one packet is pretty concentrated, and could use it with 32 oz of water so the flavor wasn't so overpowering.

Some flavors are better than others but that is really a preference. Would love to see expansion of +vitaminC, etc and a flavorless option.
Adult Pedialyte! If you're feeling dehydrated or hungover these are pretty good to help and easy to carry around as it's individually packaged and in powder form. I didn't really like the matcha flavored ones but the lemon lime one wasn't too sweet.
I like Liquid I.V. I think it helps with hydration. However, it has so many carbs in it that it doesn't make it worth it. I would sacrifice taste for less sugar.

I buy Liquid IV in bulk because it is great as a recovery sports drink. I like that you can adjust the sweetness level by adding more water and that it is sugar free and comes in fun flavors. Personal fave is the rocket pop flavor, but I've liked pretty much every flavor I've tried.

I really like Liquid I.V., especially the cherry and watermelon flavors. It's super handy for anyone who’s very active or just looking to recover after a long night. The only downside is that I don’t buy it as often as I’d like because the price point is a bit hard to justify!
They work well for rehydrating and I use them in instances when I'm excersizing a lot but I do think there are much better options for everyday use that taste better and contain less sugar and weird additives.
I’ve tried Liquid IV on several occasions, however I find the flavors can be a hit or a miss. While this was effective, I did not enjoy the large packet. The amount of product that was considered a single serving seemed to be way larger than other electrolyte packets. Personally, I prefer a lower sugar/ higher salt content option for electrolytes, but this is not bad. I think the citrus flavors tend to be better than the non-citrus flavors.
I love the sugar free lemon lime. I’m excited to try other flavors. It’s definitely expensive for what it is though

I was excited to try this product after seeing people talking about it so much! I love the passionfruit flavour. It’s slightly salty, which was a bit strange at first, but I appreciate that there aren’t a ton of artificial flavours and sweeteners added to cover up the natural saltiness of the electrolytes. I use about twice as much water as it says to and it’s the perfect ratio for me. Helpful when I’ve been sick, had a big workout, or just need a little boost for my day!
My go-to is Ultima replenisher, which is very mellow and has kept me hydrated at Burning Man for over 10 years now. Imagine my surprise when trying first the lemon lime and then the strawberry and getting a massive salt infusion when I was not expecting one. The flavors do mix well, but I couldn't get over the the electrolyte punch in my first sip.
