Liquid Death earns polarizing reviews: many praise its crisp still and sparkling waters, edgy tallboy cans that help non-drinkers blend in at concerts, and recyclable aluminum packaging; others call it “just water,” note metallic or flat tastes, and dislike sweetened flavors and the recent source change to Virginia. Fans highlight flavors like Mango Chainsaw, Severed Lime, Berry It Alive, and teas (Armless Palmer/Dead Billionaire), while critics cite bitter stevia aftertaste, limited carbonation, non‑resealable cans, and inconsistent flavor quality.

Maybe I don’t get it. It’s just water in a can — more sustainable but so expensive. The price point for sustainability should be affordable.
First of all, I have been pulled over for drinking this stuff on the road cause it looks like alcohol.. but two. It doesn’t taste very good. Especially if you are used to bottled water that is full of minerals for taste. Not a fan
The armless Palmer is incredible! Only a few grams and sugar and tastes like the original. No chemically aftertaste! The plain sparkling water is solid, but I’m not as into their flavored sparkling water.
While Liquid Death Water certainly stands out for its unique branding and packaging, I find it hard to justify the premium price tag for what is essentially just water. The cost is significantly higher than other bottled waters on the market, without offering any discernible difference in taste or quality.
Love the idea of a can you can recycle and the large size! The only downside is it can be pretty pricey. I don't personally love the design or that it looks like a beer, I favor it because of the quality
Well designed, fun brand that allows for personalization and identity in the ultimate commodity product. But at the end of the day this is just overpriced water

It's water - in a can. I'm not sure there's much else I can say about this, but I will say I do love the lime/sparkling flavor. Also love that if I have one of these at a concert, I don't feel 'as left out' of the drinking culture.
For the longest time I thought this was a beer brand. That being said, it's cool but all it is is water in a can. That said, the water is great and for some reason its fun drinking it out of this ominous can.
Simply good water, canned.

I really like Liquid Death. Their original sparkling water, and the lime flavor are my favorites, and I've tried most of them. While their flavors aren't super unique, they do a great job of making it super drinkable. It's also my favorite sparkling water to use in cocktails/mocktails.
I fell in love with this product when I first tried it. It has so much flavor and is low in calories and tastes great. I like that it comes in cans so it is easy to take with you and comes in great flavors.

I didn't know the background of this product when I started getting ads popping up on my FB feed. I thought it was a gimmick but the next time I walked into the gas station, I realized I had been influenced because when I saw it, I bought it. I love that it looks like a beer can. I am not a drinker by choice. When I would go to parties, people would always give me a hard time because I wasn't drinking. I can guarantee that if I had Liquid Death in my hand at those parties, no one would have even noticed. What a great idea for people who don't want to deal with drunk you know what's. Plus... What an awesome alternative for people who are living a sober life. The packaging may be more important than what's in the can. Is it real water? Yup. Does it taste good, like typical filtered water, yup. It is really refreshing when it's cold. I find water like Evian to be way too mineral-y. You know what I mean? If I wanted to drink water that tastes like that, I would drink my tap water. It's nasty. Not Liquid Death. That's definitely not nasty. I think it's hella smart. So, if you know someone that wants to blend in without feeling left out ... This is the perfect product for you or them.
Love that the mission of this product is to create a closed recycling loop. No weird tastes like other sparkling water.
What??? Water in a can. What genius came up with this? Honestly, its solid branding and timing and good execution as water is water.. Anyway, I like how they are branching out and the new flavors are smart and on brand...
Love the branding!
Not sure if it's all in my head but drinking water out of an aluminum can just didn't taste right at all. Not to mention the high price...
My FAV water outside of home. Our local restaurant started carrying them as well and it's so nice to have a bubbly option that isn't traditional soda. I think mango madness is my favorite right now.
I mean, it’s water with cool branding? Literally just that. On one hand, I like not having micro plastics leech into my water (all bottled water does). And I guess aluminum is more sustainable than plastic, but you do need to mine some materials to make aluminum. Carrying around a tall boy of water at a bar or something looks a lot less lame than carrying around a heavy glass from the bar tender, but the latter is free. I don’t know, it really depends on your priorities, I guess.

It is water.

I love the branding and packaging of liquid death. I especially like that you could really bring it to a party or social gathering and people wouldn’t even know that you’re not drinking alcohol. I do feel that it is pretty basic with the flavors - like most of them taste like sparkling water or just regular water so I don’t know if it’s actually worth the price if you don’t care a ton about the branding and packaging.
