Jeni's Ice Creams earns rapturous reviews for rich, ultra‑creamy texture and inventive, true‑to‑label flavors like Brambleberry Crisp, Gooey Butter Cake, and Brown Butter Almond Brittle, confirming the brand is excellent. • I am a total foodie, especially for desserts. I've attending pastry school and *think* I know a good dessert when I taste one. While Jeni's has a wide variety of flavors spanning the "interesting" scale, I find that all of them are way too sweet and overpower the flavor it's trying to go for.

Tone down on sugar and up the flavor!

  • I bought this at Whole Foods on a whim. Hands down, the best ice cream I have ever had! The chunks and swirls of flavors are so rich and decadent. I wish they sold this in more local locations! Phenomenal ice cream!

  • Best ice cream! My favorites are gooey butter cake and brambleberry crisp. Always delicious and high quality. Downside is it is expensive compared to other brands.

  • Ooh, Jeni's Sweet Cream Biscuits & Peach Jam ice cream is SO good. This ice cream is creamy, not too sweet, and homey -- it's like someone made it fresh at home and served it straight to you. It's more pricey than I would like to spend on ice cream, so I consider this a rare luxury purchase. Some flavors are too sweet for me, so it can be hit or miss but the artisan flavors are still worth a try!

  • Great flavor choices and easy to send anywhere in the country. My entire family loves Jeni's ice cream. They also run a lot of specials that makes it a bit easier to afford this great treat.

  • Flavor-wise it is top of the line the way that they have chosen how to move forward and what to create is amazing. The downside-- is the sugar-- its too sweet.

Less sugar-- or create a line with reduced sweetness.

  • These are delicious but if you’re even the least bit sensitive to dairy (even if other ice creams don’t bother you) be ware- it’s harsh on the stomach.

  • This ice cream has flavor profile along with variety of textures. Each flavor is balanced with acid, sweet and fat! I think there are so many different flavors that beautifully blended feel like a curated experience. My favorite accommodation is the lavender and almond brittle butter. It has the perfect marriage of nutty, sweet with I said and fats as I've said before. Please give it a shot I promise you will not regret it.

  • So good, rolls out new flavors with thought and care and brings back old hits consistently. Also like what the founder and brand stand for in terms of sustainability and the products they use

    Pricey ice cream

  • Absolutely delicious! I went to the Hillhurst location in LA and tried the Sweet Cream Biscuits and Peach Jam ice cream. Wow!!! They had so many unique flavors to choose from so it was very hard to decide which one to get. I ended up buying the same flavor again when I found it at Whole Foods. I'm definitely a fan and highly recommend!

  • Amazing and unique flavors with quality that matches the one found in the actual shops.

    Nothing!

  • I love Jeni's! Most of their flavors are excellent. They are a fun treat that I typically reach for when its on sale, given the high price point. The dark chocolate is my favorite!

  • Delicious and creative. Boston Cream Pie, top 5 ice creams of my life. The price is ridiculous though, so it's rare I get to enjoy it.

  • Favorite. Ice. Cream. Ever. I love the range of exciting flavors Jeni’s sells. Every ice cream is amazing, so I know even when I go for super classic flavors (Honey Vanilla Bean, I’m looking at you), they’ll taste amazing. But the real thrill is all the exciting combinations the brand comes up with. Wildberry Lavender? Gooey Butter Cake? Skillet Cinnamon Roll? Say less. I’ve already bought it.

  • looove their flavors!!

more diary free options in stores would be amazing

  • Flavors are pure joy, from the classics (Darkest Chocolate, Salty Caramel) to the more unique ones (don't sleep on the Pineapple Upside-Down Cake!). When a package arrived late and the ice cream had melted, customer service was incredibly responsive and courteous.

Wish it was easier to find a wider range of the flavors in my local Whole Foods.

  • I am a Jeni's girl til the day I die. They have a solid rotation of flavors and the ice cream's great quality. You can feel and taste that they aren't taking short cuts that compromise ice cream quality, such as overchurning to incorporate air/double volume, adding other emulsifiers and thickening agents, etc. That said, the flavor's aren't incredibly remarkable. Like, its solid, tasty and the branding's so attractive, but I don't know that I have one flavor that I will defend as like "the best flavor ever". I recommend going to a store location, but they have pints being sold at even Target these days which is nice and accesible.
