Grown Alchemist earns largely positive reviews for sensorial formulas and elegant packaging, with several skincare standouts—especially the Anti-Pollution Primer, Hydra-Restore/Cream and Gentle Gel cleansers, body creams, and lip treatments—delivering smoother, hydrated, balanced skin. Reviews also flag weaknesses: some products underperform or feel too thick or greasy (notably the Mineral Sunscreen and certain conditioners), scent runs strong, metal tubes crinkle and waste product, and a few users experience irritation or inconsistent textures across batches, making results variable by product and skin type.

I bought this delicate pink-hued primer on a whim, having been attracted by the company's super cool Insta ads, and boy was I glad to have discovered it! Since going into perimenopause and then after menopause, my skin had been so awful and the thing that really distressed me was how sweaty my face was getting during hot flashes. It made me look unprofessional at work and just generally flustered and like I wasn't holding it together. But using this has changed everything. It is lightweight, goes on beautifully and feels really comfortable and hydrating on the skin. It immediately matifies and blurs, which is sooo good for my skin confidence, and makeup sits well on top (I've actually found I need less base now as a result of using this primer). When I start to get hot and bothered, especially round the top lip, I no longer get drippy and the primer just generally keeps my face looking fresh but natural. It contains a prebiotic peptide, as well as on-trend mushroom extracts and ashwagandha (withania somnifera), and apparently also shields against pollution - I've noticed my naked skin looks better which I attribute to this, as it's the only product I've added to my regime. I love it so much, I've just bought my second tube. Yes, it's pricey, but a tube lasted me a year and I got it on sale - Amazon frequently has deals. Love that it's vegan too and the metal tubes are easy to recycle and also enable you to squeeze out every last blob of primer.

Grown Alchemist has been such a beautiful addition to my skincare routine. The formulas feel luxurious yet gentle, and I’ve noticed my skin looking more hydrated, balanced, and smooth since using them. I love the clean, thoughtful ingredients and how everything is designed to support skin health rather than just mask issues. The textures absorb well, the scents are subtle and calming, and the packaging feels high-end. It’s skincare that makes the whole routine feel like a self-care moment

This serum feels like a quietly powerful upgrade in my skincare lineup. The texture is lightweight, gel-like, and absorbs quickly, no sticky finish, just a smooth canvas. From the first few uses, my skin looked calmer, and after a week or two I noticed that my complexion felt subtly more even, smoother, and less fatigued. That said, there are a couple of things to keep in mind. The price is on the premium side, which means you want it to be a consistent part of your routine to feel the value. Also, because the brand mixes botanicals and active ingredients, if your skin is extremely sensitive or you’re already layering strong actives (like retinol + acids), you’ll want to patch test. If you’re looking for a serum that does more than just hydrate, one that supports texture, tone, barrier strength, and is built for everyday use, this is a very strong choice. It’s especially worth it if your skin has been under stress (travel, pollution, lack of sleep) or you’re looking for a “reset” without harsh exfoliants. If your budget is tighter or your skin only needs basic hydration, you might want to hold off or use this one selectively.

My sister-in law has Grown Alchemist products in her guest bathroom, so I first came across them there. I was immediatedly drawn to the aesthetics of their bottles- they all look luxe, minimalist, and uniform ihn the bathroom. I ended up buying a set of their products for my mysef and my guest bathroom. The bottles make the space look so put together. I love that they all have the same earthy scent that feels like a treat to use. The body cleanser specifically is rich, foams nicely, and a little goes a long way. I try to use them sparingly because the products are pretty expensive. It would be great if they had more sales.

After using this primer about 10 times, I'm not blown away but I'm happy with it! I have extremely acne-prone skin so finding a primer that doesn't contain pore cloggers is a challenge, which is what initially drew me to this one. I don't think it has contributed to my breakouts at all, and it definitely helps my makeup application to be much smoother on my dry, textured skin. The main thing I'm missing from this primer is an increase in the longevity of my makeup - after a long day, it doesn't look any better than it would have if I didn't use the primer. But for the smoothness of the application & the peace of mind knowing it's not aggravating my acne, I'll take it as a win for my skin needs!

I purchased the invigorating hand wash and restorative hand cream bundle. These products are luxurious and smell amazing. They are definitely a treat! I wish they came in glass bottles rather than in plastic but other than that, no complaints!!

I've used most of Grown Alchemist's bodycare and haircare products before and I thought they were OK. Gets the job done and the packaging is well designed so it looks nice in the shower space. I don't think it justifies the price point. 3/5 However, my friend gifted me their lip balm (Tinted Age-Repair Lip Treatment) and NOTHING else came close to how good it is. It's hydrating but not sticky, has a really nice and distinct smell but not a fruity or artificial scent, and I love the elevated apothecary aesthetic. 5/5

Grown Alchemist’s hand wash has a luxurious look and scent, with a relaxing eucalyptus aroma. The soap lathers somewhat well, and the packaging is luxurious. If it lathered more it would be 5 stars, but overall still a nice hand wash.

Grown Alchemist has always been a brand that has interested me for many years! I've been hearing great things about them for years now, other than the high prices, but they've always been known to have quality skincare that's vegan, cruelty free & so much more! Their formulas remind me of spa-treatments-the luxurious scent of each product, the packaging & of course their amazing natural formulations! I've tried about 6 G.A. products from their hand creams, to their restore & renew day & night facial moisturizers, exfoliant, their amazing lip treatment & this specific gel mask with anti-aging properties! It smells beautiful-natural & always leaves my skin looking much better than before! The gel is light & refreshing but not thick! I've used it as a mask but I also use it as a leave on mask to let it completely absorb into my skin for its extra benefits, because it's that light of a formula. It also smells fantastic which I always love! It has an earthy smell that's refreshing & is, not over fragranced. This gel mask is not greasy at all, it absorbs fantastically, & fast, & doesn't leave any film on the skin & the results from this product are real! I feel that some of their products don't really work that well, but with time & the "right formulations", I have noticed anti-aging benefits, slowly but surely. This mask is fantastic & works beautifully! It's a product that I always have around! They only thing I'm torn about is the metal packaging & how it " crinkles" on the actual packaging! I feel as though more would come out if it was designed a bit differently!!! But on the other hand, the packaging feels right, if that makes sense! This product & formulation has always amazed me & 8 years later, I am still using it & loving the results! This particular product works, period!!!!!!

I do quite like the packaging of grown alchemist I've used a few of their products before and they all have a distinct smell that I can't really describe but it's definitely not a bad smell just very strong especially if you're using a face wash. grown alchemist has not done much for my skin honestly I've used it consistently for a while and haven't noticed much difference.

I tried Grown Alchemist's Polishing Facial Exfoliant recently and it worked quite well. I tried it on face, hands, and elbows.

The hold the Hydra-Restore Cream Cleanser has on me. I have bought many many tubes of this stuff since it was recommended to me by a facialist. I used to use makeup wipes to remove makeup and now I exclusively use this. It does an amazing job removing gel eyeliner that I wear every day. I wish this was less expensive and the metal tube gets a little annoying when you have a tiny bit left in there but otherwise no notes.

I've tried multiple products from this brand including their Anti Pollution Primer, Energy eye cream, and the new echinacea serum. All very high quality products although I didn't continue with the eye cream as I felt it didn't really work for me.

Grown Alchemist does not test on animals and is cruelty-free. I really like the tinted hydra-repair cream. It's lightly scented with camellia notable for it's fatty acids and antioxidants and geranium blossom, which has anti-inflammatory, cicatrisant, antiseptic and antibacterial properties.

I wanted to love the sunscreen so bad, but I found it to be unbearably greasy on my oily skin! I tried to add setting powder on top to absorb the oil but I couldn’t shake the feeling of being covered in a thick layer of oil. I did feel the sunscreen protected my skin, so I do see the trade off. I just wish my skin wasn’t so oily so I could love it more!

Super nice packaging + lovely scent, but can't say it works super well. I have the intensive hand cream and really like how it applies but I think it's too light to be "intensive." Metal tube is fun but not entirely practical especially when you start running low.

I've bought Grown Alchemist's hand balm and skin care before and loved it, and I've also used the hand soap in Delta lounges and the gym and always found it nice. I bought the Invigorate hand wash and unfortunately feel it's just OK- a bit watery and the scent is not long-lasting. I almost wonder if the soap I got is different from normal as I haven't felt this when I've used it in the past. I'd stick with the creams and skin products in the future.

I love the balm! The brand is pretty nice to me ! I love the way it is smooth and looks so tooth now ! I love the way it is glowing and nice on the lips perfect for ever day weak ! I enjoy the way it fits into my bag
If i'm being honest... this brand just feels like a wanna be Aesop. None of the products have really worked out for me/been something i'd go back to, so i'm just not a huge fan!

Product tried :Grown Alchemist Hand Cream Vanilla Orange Peel My hands get so so try after washing, so this handcream has become my favorite thing to carry in my purse. The scent is great but most importantly it is able to keep my hands supple and moisturized. Only four stars because I think the packaging could be better
