Glow Recipe earns mixed-to-positive reviews: the brand delights with dewy, hydrating results—especially from Watermelon Glow PHA + BHA Pore-Tight Toner, Niacinamide Dew Drops, and Plum Plump Hyaluronic Cream—yet draws criticism for heavy fragrance, occasional breakouts, and underwhelming long‑term efficacy for some. Reviews praise sensorial textures, playful packaging, and instant glow, while noting sticky lip balms, pilling AHA night treatment, and formulas that may feel gentle but not potent enough for advanced needs.

Got these as a birthday freebie from Sephora and WHOA holy fragrance??? Tried it once and it felt okay, but scared to use on a regular basis because I have sensitive skin.
Their branding is cute but I’m not a fan of the actual product. The ingredients aren’t as clean as they claim to be and have fragrance which is a big no for me in skincare. There are so many better skincare brands out there with quality/clean ingredients.

Don't understand the hype with these products. They smell fresh and feel great. But I don't think they do anything.
I tried this but wasn’t a fan.

I have had great experience with Glow Recipe, specifically the Watermelon Glow line. The scent is light and fresh and I felt noticeable differences in my skin after application.
I’ve tried the watermelon toner, avocado eye cream and pomegranate serum. The toner smaller nice and seemed fine. The eye cream was thick and moisturizing but did nothing else (I used it at night only). The serum made my chin break out and didn’t work otherwise. Generally this line smells nice but isn’t actually effective.

The brand is probably 75% marketing and 25% efficacy, but the packaging is cute and it smells good. Weirdly, I also understand that spoiled tweens in NYC looove Glow Recipe...so make of that what you will. Only tried the glow drops (regular) and the glow water toner thingy. The watermelon scent is really good. Not too annoying or strong. Reasonably hydrating and felt really nice and gentle. Would I pay full price? Idk. I can probably find effective K-skincare that does something similar (or better) for less $$. I liked the *free* Sephora birthday gift though.

I tried the glow recipe guava vitamin C brightening serum. It was underwhelming. I saw no effect compared to other vitamin C products. No issues, just wasn't worth the squeeze for me.
Nice scent. I got their stick SPF in the Sephora Sun Safety Kit 2025. It is a nice product and I love the way it glides on and doesn't leave a white cast. I also enjoy the watermelon line of products.

My experience with Glow Recipe has been beyond amazing. I purchased the Watermelon Toner and the Watermelon Dew Drops. I can’t do my skincare without them anymore. The toner is amazing for my sensitive and dry skin. It doesn’t irritate my skin at all. The Dew Drops are amazing under makeup and even without. My skin looks plump and glowy every day.
I loooove this! It makes my skin feel so moisturized and soft. My only problem is there are dupes for 1/2 the price, and you’d never know it wasn’t the “real deal”
I had a really great experience with glow recipe. It really makes my skin glow and hydrating. Also, I love the packaging and the aesthetic of the brand. I had a really great customer experience. Would really recommend it. 10/10

Their toner is the best product I have ever used in my life!
I am absolutely obsessed with this brand! I currently use their niacinamide drops, sunscreen, toner, sleep mask, but best of all their plum plumping cream. This cream is deeply hydrating. The majority of their products make your skin super soft. I don't break out when I use this brand !

Glow Recipe is my FAVORITE skincare brand! I use the strawberry bra +aha serum and the plum pump moisturizer DAILY! I have so many goodies from them and love every single one, My skin is pretty sensitive and dry and there has not been a single product from Glow that I haven't loved!
I have an entire glow recipe skincare routine and I am truly obsessed. 🙌🏼 My face is GLOWING after I use the products, and I have never broken out or had any issues with them. The toner and dew drops are definitely my 2 favourite products.
