Glossier impresses in reviews for delivering easy, natural-looking makeup—standouts include Boy Brow, Cloud Paint, Lash Slick, and the much‑praised Glossier You fragrance—while drawing criticism for ultra‑sheer coverage, inconsistent longevity, and packaging flaws. Reviews say the brand is good for “no‑makeup makeup” days and everyday scent, but skincare feels basic and shade range and recent reformulations (You, Balm Dotcom) disappoint some users.

I haven’t tried many of their products but I am a huge fan of their boy brow - one of my staples in my minimalistic makeup routine.

Want to try more products!
I used a few products when the product first was released. Didn't strike me as particularly special or unique.

The products I tried were not very effective.
The simplicity of the branding is appealing, but I find the products hit or miss. There could be a little more luxe-ness in the feel of the actual formulas when applying. My package was delivered to the wrong address and customer service was so amazing and immediately re-shipped a new order. Somehow the first package made it back to me, so when I contacted customer service again to return, they said to keep or gift it which was thoughtful. I shared it with my sister who also thought the products were in the right path, but just did not live up to the hype.
total hit or miss, would be scared to use their skincare
Bought into the hype at first and loved the products. I didn’t notice much difference with my skin though with the skincare and I didn’t love love the makeup on me. Stores are cute, packaging is cute, website is easy to use, but products are just ok.

I think the company products are good they just aren’t for me.
Love the product. Very affordable and great packaging. Love the scents
I've only tried their balm dotcom and cloud paint and loved both products! I liked the shades of cloud paint and found the blush to be longer lasting than expected. Still a fan of the aesthetic and store experience that Glossier developed; interested to see how they'll evolve in the next few years.

have loved glossier for years. Balm dot com and their highlighter is my favorite.

Love the Glow-up from Glossier!! Great packaging, I purchased the boybrow and halo scope combo from glossier awhile ago and loved it. Will be buying more now that the brand is at Sephora

I purchased the dotcom lipbalm and boybrow and these were easily the best products for me. i grew up with lack of eyebrow hair and this really stiffens up the thin hairs. i very often use the lipbalm over other lip stains to give it a luxlips look. it's so versatile as i use it on my forehead nose, cheeks and lips to create a flawless warm look.

i wish the glossier purfume would last longer. i can't help but feel ripped off after 2 hrs of use.
i'll forever be a glossier girlie. emily weiss is one of my favourite entrepreneurs and I think the vibe of the brand has ushered us into a new era of skincare beauty. I'm forever to boy brow and patron saint balm dotcom and have used body hero from time to time. my only qualm is that the reusable bags they give you your products in only lasts after like seven opens which is quite annoying. but yeah good products, great for my skin, and somewhat decent for me wallet.
-i bought the pre-reformulation cherry balm and didn’t like it. it wasn’t moisturizing and the cherry medicine smell wasn’t for me. -the you perfume smells awesome but doesn’t last long at all, i’d recommend layering with other you-scented products. -i like the haloscope highlighter quite a bit, it’s been my only highlighter for a while and has lasted me forever, and looks nice on the skin. -boy brow is good, my favorite brow gel, but there isn’t enough product to justify the price. -skywash has beautiful colors and works well, but there isn’t anything special about it besides the colors. the website, packaging, and buying experience are very NYC cool girl, although i’d argue that the brand has fallen off since its heyday.

there are brands that treat their employees better (read @outtathegloss ‘s posts) so you should go with those.
Got their boy brow and generation g lipstick. Loved the brow paint - easy to apply, looks natural. If you’re looking to fill in big patches of brows, this isn’t your product but if you want something to shape and accentuate your brows, it’s great. Lipstick is one of my favs - it just goes on really smoothly and not too thick. I never have to worry about this smudging on my face if I’m drinking coffee or having a sandwich. The only issue I have with the lipstick is that the top/cover stopped “clicking” shut so there was no way to lock this down in my purse - had to keep it at the house so it didn’t inadvertently open in my pockets and make a mess
Honestly I still love glossier. They make solid beauty basics that are easy to use, minimal, and wearable. I like it for every day makeup. My go to items are: skin tint, stretch concealer, boy brow, the cream blush, and the perfume solid.

Their stuff is solid and usable like the reliable white tee shirt and jeans of the makeup world.
I wanted to love it and instead the cleanser bothered my sensitive skin and I don’t get what all the hype is.
The main product of glossier I’ve used is the milky jelly cleanser. It’s very nice but I’m not sure it’s very unqiue — could probably find a drug store dupe easily.
Overall I love Glossier. Products smell good and are very cool It's generally pretty affordable as well. The mascara and concealer both stand out as EXCELLENT products for me. The balm dot com always seems to break me out around my mouth unfortunately, and I've heard this from others as well. I emailed them about something once, don't even remember what about but I thought their customer service was wonderful and personable.

Would love to see a reformulation of the balm dot com or a noncomedogenic version.
Four years ago I bought the skin tint and pot concealer and to this day I have not found a product that I like better! The skin tint provides the most beautiful sheer coverage and it looks like I am not wearing makeup.
I've only tried Glossier products a handful of times through friends or samples. They overall feel decent.

I have tried several of Glossier's products and I haven't been too particularly blown away. I've tried the Milky Jelly cleanser, Balm Dot Calms, highlighter, and the Cloud Paint. The only one I really enjoy is the Milky Jelly Cleanser. I love the way it smells and the way it feels on my face. Your order also comes with a really cute pink bubble zip pouch:)
