Reviews mention

  • Durable, heat-resistant silicone construction
  • One-piece, hygienic utensil design
  • Comfortable, well-balanced ergonomic handles
  • Cookware-safe, non-scratching surfaces
  • Clunky, oversized tool dimensions
  • Rough, plastic-ended tongs
  • Silicone staining and residue
  • Thicker edges reduce precision

GIR earns strong reviews for high-performing silicone tools that are durable, heat-resistant, easy to clean, and gentle on cookware, confirming the brand is good. Reviews also flag drawbacks: some tools feel clunky or oversized, certain tongs have rough plastic ends and a cheap-feeling lock, occasional staining or dishwasher residue occurs, and at least one spatula tip broke.

  • I love the Get It Right brand and their silicone cooking and baking utensils. They are extremely high quality. They don’t feel flimsy and I feel confident while using. I like that it can be used with high temperatures and even dishwasher safe.

  • It’s silly to love a silicone utensil so much, but this is what I reach for over and over. Wonderful color options, affordable, durable, and comfortable to use! The items pictured are over 3 years old and still look great!

  • I have the large serving spoon and mini spoon in cobalt blue, I go them at Trader Joes. We enjoy the smooth texture, weight, and sophisticated look. I washed the large spoon in the dishwasher and the spoon goon stained with a white residue, so that was a bummer.

Wish they did better in the dishwasher.

  • Ever find yourself subconsciously reaching for your "favorite spatula"? After using the silicone spatula from GIR, I just might be reaching for this one on the reg. A nice weight, and a quality feel has made this spatula my new go-to for a lot of my cooking dishes. Super easy to clean, and a huge variety of colors to choose from. An easy layup for any chef at any level.

Unfortunately, I'm not a huge fan of the tongs. The ends are plastic, not silicone, and seem to miss on the quality feel.

  • I bought a set of kitchen tools (via Zola) from GIR, and they have been great. They are nice looking, are dish washer safe, and meet all my cooking needs. I do wish I could have made my own set (had to purchase some repeats of tools I already had), but that's a nice-to-have.

  • I have their silicone straws that I use daily. Perfect to travel with and easy to clean. Love all the other products they make too! Super easy to clean and come in fun colors :)

  • GIR utensils are a kitchen game-changer! The quality is exceptional, with durable, heat-resistant materials that make cooking and serving a breeze. I love the sleek design and how comfortable they are to use. Whether it's stirring, flipping, or serving, GIR makes every task easier and more enjoyable. Definitely worth the investment for anyone who loves cooking with high-quality tools!

  • This review is for the mini spatula. If you haven't thought about getting a mini spatula, DO IT. They are so surprisingly useful, from soft scrambling eggs to baking, I always pull it out. I love the fun colors and the variety of kitchen tools available. Excited to try other options- I think the pricing is very appropriate. My only concern is that since it's silicone that it might absorb dishwasher detergent or get a soapy scent/taste. That hasn't happened yet, but it's led me to hand wash just in case.

  • We have the 7-piece ultimate tool set with all kinds of spatulas, whisk, etc, and every time I'm cooking, I'm thankful for them. The silicone material is great. It feels especially ok to pay for these since we end up using them almost daily. It's the small things in life! Worth the upgrade 🙏

  • I have their 5 piece set and purchased the tongs separately. Some products are better than others. I like the tongs and the smaller spatulas but don’t use the larger spoons as much. It is super easy to clean however and I recommend the brand.

  • This review is for the spoonula only. Affordable, durable, and probably my most reached for utensil while cooking. Looking forward to upgrading some of my other tools to GIR at some point!

  • We have the 5-Piece Ultimate Tool Set in Sprinkles and absolutely love it. The design is very aesthetically pleasing, and all of the tools work as expected. We've had them for about a year and the quality is holding up better than many of our other silicone tools.

  • durable & high quality! i have the mini spatula and have had my eyes on their baking sheets for a while. i love that silicon can withstand heat, sharp knives, and can go in the dishwasher!

  • Who knew that I could have a strong opinion on cook tools! I bought the 5 piece ultimate cookware set and as someone who has been known to leave tools in a hot pan while multi-tasking in the kitchen, I love that these don't get super hot or melt (like a plastic handle might). I bought the light blue color (currently the photo on the Thing Testing page for GIR is of a green spatula with a light blue spoon the left and that's the blue set I bought). It didn't stain for like a year, until I decided to use it to stir up some roasted red pepper soup! All in all, i love the set! Would recommend.

  • I absolutely LOVE my Set of 3 utensils + Ceramic holder!! The utensils included were the silicone ultimate spoon, the silicone ultimate spoonula (like a baking spatula), and the metal whisk with a silicone handle! The utensils are used almost daily & run through the dishwasher - they are my favorite! They're heavy enough to give you great control while cooking (especially the whisk!!), but they are so easy to maneuver & clean so there's less kitchen mess!

  • Minimalistic design and longevity. GIR tools are rampant in my kitchen and slowly taking over my old Kitchen aid products.

  • Excellent silicone covered kitchen tools. Durable, flexible and resistant to heat, plus easy to clean! There are occasions when you'll need to use something with a hard edge (pizza stuck to the baking tray) but for everything else, there's GIR. We also have their baking tray liners, which work great.

  • Seriously might be my favorite kitchen utensil to cook with. Easy to clean and use too. Also love the variety in sizes and colors they come in.

  • Best spatulas I've ever used - my mini on that I bought during COVID has last years through constant use + dishwasher cleaning with no signs of wear & tear. I used to have issues with the head of flexible spatulas detaching from their handles after continued use, but this bypasses that issue by having it be one solid piece. 10/10 recommend, also really great as gifts (especially their minis - mini spatulas are v useful little tools).
