Dirty Labs earns strong reviews for effective, enzyme-powered cleaning that tackles odors and many stains while remaining nontoxic, hypoallergenic, and packaged in recyclable aluminum. Reviewers praise refined scents like Magnolia/Bergamot/Cedar, Murasaki, and Jasmine/Matcha/Vetiver and the ultra‑concentrated, cold‑water formula, but cite drawbacks: occasional weak scent longevity, messy sticky caps, easily lost silicone beakers, and mixed performance on heavily soiled or dingy whites.

I have used a few of the products, and they wash well. The liquid bottles make a huge mess, and I don't love that, but I do have a sink nearby the washing machine, so it's not a big deal. I think it's worth the mess since the bottle is aluminum and recyclable.
This is my favorite laundry detergent. It smells so good and gets my clothes clean. A little goes a long way. I was looking for a natural soap to replace Mrs Meyer’s and this works wonderfully. Great for people with allergies and sensitive skin.
I love the concept of this brand (recyclable container, ecofriendly) and the smell is faint and delightful for the scented version...but it just didn't do the stain fighting trick that my other (less eco) detergents did for larger or dirtier loads (even when I pretreated).

To start, my absolute favorite aspects about Dirty Lab cleaners are that they are nontoxic and biodegradable, but also that all packaging is recyclable and the company is devoted to sustainability. I've reduced waste in my house significantly because of the size of the refill bottles and the recyclable materials (i.e. aluminum and cardboard), as well as the soap concentration. One load of laundry takes only a few mL of soap AND the soap is cold water optimized, which reduces energy usage from hot water. On top of that, the scents are incredible but light (jasmine, magnolia/bergamot, and yuzu) and I feel like my clothes and dishes are truly getting cleaned. Dirty Labs uses a bioenzyme technology that does a fantastic job of cleaning and removing stains. I'm very glad I made the switch to Dirty Labs for my own health and wellness, my clothes, and my environmental impact.
Seemed to clean the laundry just fine however it is pretty expensive.

I've always been so hesitant to try natural/gentle detergents, but wow this one packs a punch. My clothes feel so fresh and clean and stains come right out. I have tried all scents and love the Signature scent the most - it's very gender neutral and really does stick to the clothing so I'm always smelling fresh. The Murasaki scent was a bit too floral for me, but I usually don't like floral scents at all anyway. The unscented is also great, I just think I prefer to have a little bit of fragrance on my clothes. I tried mixing the unscented with some DedCool detergent I had to give it a scent but I think that this detergent is so powerful that it took away all of the DedCool and the clothes came out with no fragrance left! So that's actually impressive. I also love the concentrated formula and the little rubber cap that I can just leave in the detergent drawer to get rinsed off during the cycle and keep things mess-free. It's so nice to not have a massive jug of detergent in the way.

I'm obsessed with the Magnoila, Bergamot scent, not to mention it's nontoxic and I feel so much safer using this product. I am fully subscribed to this being the only detergent I need!
I bought the lavender laundry detergent, and it honestly lasted a while. I specifically bought it because you could use so much less than regular detergent, and it lasted longer. The only con that brought it down from five was the container and measuring cup. I couldn't get all the detergent out of the cup after using it, and there was a significant amount that would be left in it. Then I started pouring from the bottle instead, which somehow was worse as the detergent would leek out and kind of spill everywhere. It could be a user's error, but it definitely was not my favorite part.
I have sensitive skin/allergies so I started using Dirty Labs fragrance free laundry detergent because I loved that it was: cruelty free, BPA free, and recyclable. The reusable cap size also helped me find out I was using too much detergent before. Leaves even my stinky workout clothes that have to be washed on cold smelling clean after.
LOVE this product, My sheets have never felt so clean! I have a senior dog who sometimes has accidents and this detergent completely erases any evidence after a quick wash. Bonus points because I've had great success diluting it in a spray bottle for a variety of applications. Pre-treat dog pee on carpets (check), use with a Bissell little green to clean couch (check), get rid of random stains on car upholstery (check), use in carpet cleaner (check). Bergamot & Cedar scent is so lovely, it makes me forget that I have dogs at all.

Great for cleaning upholstery, and as a spot cleaner for dog accidents (dilute a teeny amount with warm water in a spray bottle). The little beaker for measuring is adorable, but I have lost it before.

Laundry detergent is really good, and the dishwasher product is phenomenal. We kicked out Seventy Generation on the latter.

Note: I am an investor,
it's everything I wanted in a laundry detergent. They have fragrance-free options and it's sustainable.

The plastic cap should be replaced with something biodegradable or compostable (if possible).
Best laundry detergent I’ve tried. Smells great.
While I love the branding and concept and the detergent does the job, the cap always drips with excess detergent, leaving the bottle exterior in a state of perpetual stickiness.
Feedback
Consider offering larger-sized bottles with a less mess-prone cap.
smells really good! loved the powder super booster and it's great the liquid detergent came with a dispenser bottle
I have used several dirty labs products, and they are all great. The laundry booster is amazing for workout/ sports gear!

my kids are super sensitive to detergent, and this is the only one that works! Love the crisp, clean smell and the size makes its crazy manageable to store in laundry room.
I really like the Dirty Labs product. The Murasaki scent is so nice. It's fragrant yet light, and it really makes my clothes feel clean. I wanted a detergent that was nontoxic, and I feel like a lot of them don't clean the clothes well or it doesn't smell amazing afterward, but Dirty Labs does the job. A little goes a long way, so even though the bottle isn't a huge tub it lasts. Highly recommend!

Dirty Labs is pretty dang great. The magnolia scent is absolutely divine. I love that it comes in a recyclable aluminum can but it’s pretty small for the price and it’s easy to lose the little silicone cup that comes with it, though it’s great that you can put it into the wash with your clothes to keep it from getting gunked up. It’s definitely something to buy when you want to add a little fun to your laundry but I don’t think it’s 100% worth it for everyone value wise.
I LOVE their signature scent but have not tried the others. I feel like it does a good job cleaning and the scent isn’t too strong that if feels like it is covering up other smells like other detergents. It is nice and concentrated so a little goes a long way. Perfect for traveling, I wash soccer uniforms for the team when we are at hotels for tournaments. Highly recommend!
