  • Rich, smooth vietnamese-style coffee
  • Inventive, crowd-pleasing flavor lineup
  • Convenient single-serve portability
  • Aromatic, high-quality coffee scent
  • Flimsy, tear-prone drip filters
  • Slow brewing cools the coffee
  • Inconsistent strength and bitterness
  • Waste-heavy single-use packaging

Copper Cow Coffee impresses in reviews for delivering rich, smooth Vietnamese-style pour-overs that are highly convenient for travel and everyday treats, with standout flavors like Churro, Vanilla, and Mocha and a beloved sweetened condensed milk creamer. However, reviewers cite issues with certain flavors (notably Lavender), slow or flimsy drip filters that can tear or cool the coffee, occasional bitterness or inconsistent strength, and waste-heavy single-use packaging—making it better as an indulgence than a daily ritual for some.

  • I got a bag of the Churro flavor as a gift and it has become my new favorite luxury drink - I don't particularly enjoy flavored coffee, but this had a subtle hint of cinnamon that I really enjoyed. I save it for times when I can really sit and relax my morning cup.

  • I have purchased Copper Cow Churro Ground Coffee several times. It has the delicious taste of cinnamon. I really look forward to my morning coffee when I have a bag of this coffee open. It gets me caffeinated and going for the day. Highly recommend!

  • I really like this brand. I am a fan of their pour over lattes, which elevate the at-home coffee drinking experience. Their flavors are inventive, i.e. churro. I like that they are high quality and readily available in my local Whole Foods.

  • I am a coffee fanatic, and was excited to try this new coffee. I found it delicious and loved the strong vanilla flavor for me.. I am very interested in trying other flavors besides the vanilla because the flavor was quite vibrant.

  • Awesome and giftable options too (bonus for the cute packaging)! I like the concept and am glad that now they have more options available for people who need to follow plant-based/dairy free eating patterns

  • Im not big on coffee but Copper Cow Coffee offers a delightful experience with its pour-over coffee packs, combining convenience with quality. The flavors are rich and aromatic, providing a satisfying brew every time

  • My friend made me a pour over coffee with the lavender latte (I’m a sucker for lavender). I thought it was interesting but probably wouldn’t replace my normal latte. Would be interested in tasting other flavors of this coffee.

  • A cool alternative to a product we drink in our daily lives. People are always experimenting with coffee and this is a fun product to throw into the mix.

  • The design/idea of these little pourover set ups with the sweetened condensed milk packets is genius. Fun treat at the office or while traveling!

  • I bought the churro ground coffee the only ingredients are coffee and cinnamon which is already great because I don’t need anything with “natural flavors” in the ingredients. My parents were not a fan. They drink their coffee black with a little sugar, they said it was too strong and the cinnamon was overpowering. I disagree I made myself a cafe misto with honey and thought it was great. I used to already add cinnamon to my coffee but now I don’t have to. I believe that since I had mine half milk half coffee it was perfectly balanced for me.

  • Great taste and wonderful smell, but is a bit expensive

  • I really wanted to like this product. I love the packaging, the concept, the brand's mission, and the fact that it's a woman owned business. So many great things! The coffee was far too strong for me. The concept of pour over coffee is so fun. I enjoyed setting it up and watching it brew! I tried the lavender, but it felt overpowered by how strong the coffee is. Not for me, but it's most definitely a personal taste preference. The company, ingredients, etc. truly seem wonderful!

  • -While Copper Cow makes enjoying Vietnamese coffees at home very quick and easy, there definitely is a lot of waste with its single-use plastic packets. -The packaging is nice and love the color palette. -Good for on-the-go!

    Feedback

Wish this was a less wasteful indulgence (: Also wish there were options for non-dairy creamers (like condensed coconut milk)

  • I LOVE Copper Cow! SO happy they are on Thingtesting so I can rate them! When I first tried them on recommendation of a friend, I absolutely loved them, and they only had their single serve at the time I believe. Happy to see that they now sell ground coffee which is more sustainable! I love all of the flavors and it's so convenient to have condensed milk in a single serving. They also used to have a non-dairy (coconut) creamer which was a nice option but honestly the consistency/taste wasn't that great (I'm sure that's why they stopped making it, maybe they are reformulating? Would love to see nondairy or lactose-free brought back! ) I don't love the single serve from a sustainable aspect but I imagine the filters hopefully are compostable or biodegradable? I do enjoy Copper Cow as a nice treat though, it's indulgent but customizable (can add as much cream as you want). I'm only docking a star from a sustainability standpoint and also because I'd love to see lactose-free creamers!

    Feedback

Currently no lactose-free creamers but you can just buy the coffee on its own which is a good enough option! The single serve drip filter helps to make traditional Vietnamese coffee more accessible for the average consumer.

  • I have experienced Copper Cow through a tea latte kit with Tea Drops! It is delicious both sweetened condensed milk and the coconut variety.

  • They have really unique flavors and I love how friendly the packaging is. It's not the best coffee I've ever tasted, but it is fun to use!

    Feedback

I think it could be user error, but sometimes I end up with grounds in my coffee due to the nature of the packaging.

  • I loved the lavender Vietnamese coffee. The packaging was very clever and easy to use. By following the directions, I was able to produce one perfect, large cup of Vietnamese coffee, fully equipped with condensed milk.

    Feedback

The condensed milk package was a bit tough to open. Otherwise, the entire setup was seamless and intuitive.

  • The single-serve kits are a really fun way to make vietnamese coffee at home. The single-serve condensed milk packets make it easy and the flavors are really fun! Also love that the brand is Asian-woman owned. The coffee itself is good too- better than most other grocery store brands I've tried.

  • I was an early adopter of Copper Cow and quickly fell in love with their pourover pouches—such an easy way to enjoy a Vietnamese coffee. Flavors like cardamom and churro, in addition to the original, made it easy to never get bored. I still enjoy these coffees from time to time, although I wish it were easier to enjoy them iced. I haven't quite figured out how without diluting it.

  • their little pourovers are just so cute! I'm not a huge fan of sweet or flavored coffee so I don't think I'm the target audience for this, but I do find that they would make great gifts, especially for people who travel/camp!
