Reviews mention

  • Noticeable, sustained energy boost
  • Vibrant, fruity flavor variety
  • Refreshing, lightly sparkling texture
  • Popular non‑carbonated tea options
  • Very high caffeine content
  • Occasional artificial sweetener aftertaste
  • Jittery, sweaty side effects
  • Inconsistent flavor quality

Celsius earns largely positive reviews for delivering a noticeable energy boost—often used pre-workout or mid-day—with popular flavors like Fuji Apple Pear, Peach Mango Green Tea, and the Vibe series. However, reviews also flag drawbacks: very high caffeine that can cause jitters, migraines, heart palpitations, sweats, or a crash for some; polarizing, sometimes artificial-tasting flavors and aftertaste; skepticism about fat-burning claims; and a switch to sucralose that turns off certain buyers.

  • I love that they have non-carbonated green tea flavored options for energy drinks! My coworkers are all obsessed! I also like the packets you can add to water. So many options! Does not give me tingly or jittery feeling, just steady bit of energy when I need it.

  • My parents came to visit recently and couldn't stop having about these drinks. So I gave them a try (I'm usually a red bull drinker) and I loved the flavor and that it was green tea based. What my parents and I did not know until after I got about halfway through the can & was starting to sweat, it was thermogenic! These may become my new staple because they are waaaay better for you than my usual, taste good, and helps your metabolism. 👌 Price wise, it looks like they cost about the same as any energy drink so it's worth it.

  • I find the wide range of flavors to be great because you can find one that you enjoy however, I have tried many and thing that they are overly sweet and sometimes have a bad aftertaste. They do provide me with a lot of energy and I do not feel jittery so they get points for the energy levels it provides.

  • I love to have a Celsius every day because I love to sparkle, with Fuji Apple Pear as my witness. I would drink these even if I didn't get the sparkly energy boost because it just tastes THAT good.

  • This energy drink has risen in popularity in the past few years. 200 mg of caffeine, zero sugar, and good flavors. It's an instant energy hit. I used to drink one of these every day as a substitute for coffee but now reeling it back to every other day. Whilst Celsius is good, 200 mg is quite a bit.

  • It's fine. The flavors are a bit artificial but nothing to bad. Didn't blow me away, nor reaching for anything to cleanse the taste. It just didn't leave an impression at all. I would choose so many beverages over this and honestly just go for a water if those where the options. Not good, not bad, just meh.

  • I love these, unfortunately. They have gotten me through many-a-workout, and sleepy days at work when I’m just not feeling it. I love the more uncommon flavors, and have been known to get excited at rest stop gas station when I spot them on long drives :)

  • The taste of these definitely feels off. It is nice to be zero calorie and zero sugar, as well as sodium conscious, but if I didn't have to pay attention to those factors I wouldn't go out of my way to pick this up over whatever else was available.

  • Decent tasting, but comes with that problem I have with most energy drinks, where I kinda want to take a nap afterwards. I don't know exactly what it is , but it happens with every energy drink regardless of caffeine, sugar, or what have you.

  • Jokingly, I fear a little bit for my health every time I reach for a Celsius due to the caffeine and taurine content but nonetheless, I end up drinking it anyway as a quick energy boost during the day.

  • I do not drink these on a regular basis, but they help when needed! I really like the watermelon flavor and can’t wait to try more. They give me a pick me up when I need them for the gym or just on a day where I’m moving slow. The taste isn’t harsh or super sweet so it makes them easy to drink.

  • Energy kick is real, but I found the flavor to be very artificial.

  • Wonderful flavor. To be honest at first, I did not realize it was an energy drink. I was more interested in it being sugar free so was pleased there was no aftertaste which frequently happens in sugar free products. The first thing that caught my attention is the assortment of flavors. Unlike traditional energy drinks that leave you with a dreaded crash, CELSIUS provides clean energy. It's powered by natural caffeine sources like green tea extract and guarana, giving me a sustained energy boost without the jitters or a midday slump. These energy drinks don't just provide a pick-me-up; they also deliver essential vitamins like BCAAs, Biotin, and more. It's like a nutritional bonus with every sip, which I appreciate as part of my daily routine.

  • Gives you a huge surge of energy. Many have lots of caffeine. Tastes good to me but I could feel my heart beating there’s so much caffeine in it. I like to have one before I take a peloton ride. Makes me feel energized. Not an everyday drink for sure. But a good treat or energy boost.

  • I used to drink these but there was something so artificial tasting. The aftertaste was what really got me and after I realized my nightly heartburn / acid reflux was caused by these drinks, I decided to completely stop drinking them. That being said, I know a LOT of people that drink and love Celsius.

  • I felt super jittery and un-focused after drinking this. I really would not recommend it. It also had an artificially sweet taste that rather turned me off.

  • I rarely drink energy drinks but have found that Celsius helps give me a lift when I am looking for something low sugar, but high in caffeine and B vitamins. It has helped me on several occasions overcome a bad night of sleep or a stomach bug.

  • Flavors are pretty good, but had me feeling jittery after a quarter of the can. Personally just didn’t work for me/was a bit much. I can drink other brands (the one that gives you wings) and not have the jitters.
