Reviews mention

  • Noticeable, sustained energy boost
  • Vibrant, fruity flavor variety
  • Refreshing, lightly sparkling texture
  • Popular non‑carbonated tea options
  • Very high caffeine content
  • Occasional artificial sweetener aftertaste
  • Jittery, sweaty side effects
  • Inconsistent flavor quality

Celsius earns largely positive reviews for delivering a noticeable energy boost—often used pre-workout or mid-day—with popular flavors like Fuji Apple Pear, Peach Mango Green Tea, and the Vibe series. However, reviews also flag drawbacks: very high caffeine that can cause jitters, migraines, heart palpitations, sweats, or a crash for some; polarizing, sometimes artificial-tasting flavors and aftertaste; skepticism about fat-burning claims; and a switch to sucralose that turns off certain buyers.

  • I am obsessed with the peach mango green tea and they’re the main reason why I rate Celsius so high. I have them whenever I play tennis and they give me a boost, I can’t handle them on a normal day though. I prefer the non-carbonated version, I don’t like the carbonated Celsius at all.

  • Very good refresher in the morning instead of or in addition to my coffee. The cans are really well designed, they are thin and tall and I find it keeps my drink colder that way. It is quite sweet for me so I add water to it as needed.

  • I am obsessed. I drink these whenever I need a pick me up stronger than coffee and they work. They taste so good

  • the flavor is SO good. absolutely my fav energy drinks.

  • Celsius drinks have been making waves as a go-to fitness beverage for those looking to rev up their workouts or boost their energy levels. The pros of Celsius drinks often include their claim to promote metabolism and provide an energy kick. These beverages usually contain natural ingredients like green tea extract, guarana extract, and ginger root, known for their potential to increase metabolism and provide a temporary boost in energy. However, taste can be subjective; some people might not enjoy the flavor or the slightly fizzy nature of these drinks. Plus, while the energy boost is there, it might not be as potent or immediate as some other highly caffeinated beverages. When comparing Celsius to other energy drinks or pre-workout supplements, the standout feature is often the claim of natural ingredients and its supposed calorie-burning effect. Other energy drinks might rely heavily on high levels of caffeine or sugar, whereas Celsius attempts to focus on a more natural, functional approach. Overall, if you're seeking a drink that might give you a gentle energy lift and potentially support your metabolism during workouts, Celsius could be a good option. Just keep in mind that individual reactions to its ingredients can vary, so it might be worth trying a can or two to see if it suits your taste buds and provides the desired effect for your energy needs.

  • I really enjoy these energy drinks. They have a great taste and don’t leave me feeling jittery. My favorite flavor is the peach and I find they give me just the boost I need mid-day.

  • Lots of good flavors (my favorite was an apple one) and gave me a boost when I needed it.

  • So, they're good energy drinks - they definitely get you caffeinated. What I don't like about these is that they're just so sweet - sweeter than a lot of the other ones on the market (somehow lol). I think the least polarizing flavor to me is guava kiwi, but be warned about the taste!

  • Great flavors. My husband Loves them. I really like the taste but there is way too much caffeine in these for me. My heart was racing like I had 2 Red Bulls. I don’t enjoy that feeling.

  • tastes very well and really works when I have to work on the days I feel super tired and had a bad night sleep

  • I am a huge fan of Celsius and I have it daily! It gives me a nice boost of energy mid day to get through the day. I am not a fan of artificial sweeteners but I do not taste it much in these. I love the grape, kiwi guava, tropical, lemon lime and the new galaxy flavors. Best energy drink out there!

  • Very high caffeine content (200mg in comparison to 80mg in a cup of coffee) so the potency is there! If you need to watch your caffeine intake I would not recommend it. But for those who are used to a high caffeine intake, the flavors are pretty good (some are definitely more aspartame-y tasting than others) but it gives you that caffeine buzz so many of us seek

  • I cannot say enough good things about Celsius. I struggle with energy most days and finding something that works for me. I workout regularly and Celsius is the only energy drink I purchase, I'm so loyal to this brand it's insane. You'll never get tired of a flavor because they have sooo many choices, not to mention they are always dropping new ones to keep it fun and interesting. They can be found absolutely anywhere and come in good size packs to purchase for convenience.

  • The White Peach flavor is so yummy! The bubbles are tiny and light which makes it a super refreshing alternative to coffee or soda.

  • Picked up a can of this while I was hunting for another brand, but was out of stock. Really glad that it was because I was able to give this one a try! I liked how the drink tasted and it didn’t have an aftertaste for me. Would be happy if they offered more flavors though!

  • Lots of flavor options and definitely gives a boost of energy. I wish it came in a less caffeinated version because sometimes I don’t need 200 mg so I don’t drink it as often as i would if it was half that

  • On my college soccer team everyone was obsessed with Celsius. I don't know if it's because I am a loyal red bull consumer but I was never really impressed by the taste. It's definitely effective and makes your heart race, hence, why it was banned by the NCAA. I will say the Fuji apple pear flavor is exceptionally yummy. That one in particular tastes unique and might make me turn my head in a gas station. The rest taste like any other drink.

  • Love these drinks and all the flavors I've tried! It doesn't make me too jittery or nauseous.

  • I've been drinking half a celsius before working out at orange theory for the last few months and it's a game changer! I have so much more energy and it tastes great!
