  • I have been eyeing these for years but I could never justify pulling the trigger on the price. I got these during a thing drop and first impression I am really impressed with the quality. They feel sturdy and unlike the countless cheap travel pots and organizers I have bought over the years, these feel like they will last. I also got the plastic travel pouches and they are much more sturdy than I expected. The magnetic closure is really strong so I don’t see them flipping open in my bags. Yes they are expensive (hence the 4 star instead of 5) but if you want to invest in good quality travel containers these are a great option!

  • I’m someone who has to take alot of medications and it’s so much more convenient for me to make sure all my medications are accounted for with me at all times when it’s the right time to take them.

  • I’ve been wanting to try these for a while and overall they’re good. The magnetic feature is super nice so they stay together, and I love the labels. They are very rigid, which is nice to prevent breakage but does make it harder to use products like shampoo or conditioner which would normally come in a squeeze bottle - I’ll probably stick to my squeeze travel bottles for those, but this is nice for skincare products and I’m happy to avoid purchasing travel minis. I bought a set of the adapters as well, and while they’re nice, I’m disappointed that they don’t fit on the small size capsules - it does say this on the site, but kind of annoying that they’re selling a “system” that doesn’t fully work together.

  • The capsules are pretty nice and leak-proof for most of my products. I also liked how standardized the sizing was to fit together snugly. I’m a big fan of the parcels. I think they’re great quality, and fit a ton of stuff. I can see them being a bit tricky to pack since the tops fold down and the magnetic closure is in a specific spot, but they’re solid and were very helpful for miscellaneous travel items, card games, and toiletries.

  • I like the customization and clean look, but the value doesn’t quite match the price, IMO. I bought a set for medicine/supplements, and although the finish feels premium, it’s hard to justify the cost (somehow over $200). I’m not done with Cadence, though—an XL Parcel for traveling with hair tools is tempting. Bottom line: stylish and customizable, but pricey for practicality. More travel-focused options and better price-to-value would encourage me to buy more, as they are beautifully designed.

  • The Cadence system is a masterful example of form and function. Both stylish and a joy to use, I can't say that I've necessarily cut down on my toiletries, but I've definitely streamlined them. One thing I didn't anticipate was the function of the oil-drip spout as an add on... I think it only fits on the medium sized capsules and bigger. I really like the organizer for them too. It's not necessary if you already have a bag but it sure is aesthetically pleasing. I think I need another one just to match this one and hold my make up (no I will not be decanting my makeup). So far... the screw-top lids have been completely leak-proof. Time will tell but I'm optimistic that they're as good as they seem. It's a premium product with a price tag to match, but for anyone who values a streamlined, organized, and leak-free travel experience, it’s worth the investment if you travel a lot. They're really a joy to use and a genuine upgrade to my travel routine.

  • While the product is very aesthetically pleasing and high quality, I don't think they are the most convenient for travel. there is only one type of closure, so it's not the best for products with a low viscosity. Also, the products themselves are pretty heavy, which makes it less travel friendly

  • I have a couple of the capsules that I received as a gift. I use them for traveling -- only to carry my vitamins/pills. I have tried putting moisturizer in one prior to that, but I don't love scooping my fingers into the container to get the moisturizer. I prefer a pour cap. So, I still use them every time I travel, but just prefer for solid items. The design is sleek and I do like the magnetic closure. Definitely an upgrade from using ziplock bags!

  • I got these to hold my vitamins/medicine while traveling. Normally, everything ends up in a ziplock bag or an old medicine bottle. I love that these have removable labels, and the magnets hold them together. The colors are beautiful!I can't wait to use these on my next trip!

  • I got my Cadence capsules through a Thingdrop and had been wanting to try them for a while. I use them all the time for travel - they’re a big upgrade from the random drugstore bottles I used to rely on. The labels on top make it easy to keep track of what’s inside, and each one holds just enough for about a weeklong trip without taking up too much space. They’re sleek, satisfying to use, and genuinely make packing feel more organized. That said, a few of mine have cracked over time, and I’m not sure why. I also don’t think I would’ve paid full price - they’re quite expensive for what they are, and a bit heavier than expected. Still, I reach for them constantly, which probably says it all: not perfect, but a thoughtful, well-designed upgrade if you travel often.

  • Looove cadence. I am a carry on only girly so having cadence in my travel system makes it super easy for me to pack everything I need in my carry on ONLY! The quality is amazing, the aesthetic is on point. One thing I can say is preorders can be a little finicky- think year long delays. But for their ready to ship items it’s a yes for me. 09.14.25 update, I bought the parcel! I like it because it’s stylish and aesthetically pleasing. It fits my capsules well and the magnetic closure is handy. I will say it doesn’t stay open so it’s difficult to grab what I need out of it but I guess that will change with more use.

  • I’ve been a fan of Cadence since they first launched their capsules. There are so many attention to detail features that I love - from the magnetic caps that stick to the side of the capsule, to the interchangeable (also magnetic!) labels. The capsules have been so helpful with travel!

  • (Review from an aesthetic and functional girly perspective.) I have followed and supported Cadence for a long time, beginning with their Original Capsules set. My initial intention for getting the capsules was to reduce the amount of travel products I purchased, and the Original Capsules seemed like an eco-friendly and aesthetic option. In addition, I love supporting small businesses/brands. It's also a huge plus that the CEO and founder is a female POC! The Original Capsules were small, but easy to travel with. They were weighty, but not as much as the new capsules. Each capsule could hold enough shampoo and conditioner for a few days use, especially since I don't wash my hair everyday. I also used them for vitamins/pills, facial cleanser, toner, serums, sunscreen, body lotion, etc. I ran into the issue of cracking capsules several times, and each time I reached out to customer service, they were prompt in resolving my issue. They had me send in my cracked capsules for replacements. Besides the cracking issue, the only other problem I had was that one capsule was often not enough product for an extended trip. I decided to upgrade to the new capsule system a year or so after its launch since they were larger and could be expanded with the Extender. The opening on the new/current capsules is larger so product flows out very quickly (too quickly). The seal on the capsules is a bit misaligned on some of the capsules, but not a huge deal. Cadence also released the Adapters and the Spatula to help with getting product out. I have not purchased either of these, so I cannot comment on them at the moment. Nonetheless, I use the capsules every time I travel. I also usually carry one with pills and one with sunscreen in my bag. In addition, I purchased the Parcel. I think the Parcel is my favorite product from Cadence that I've purchased thus far. It's well-designed, and the magnetic closure is very secure and easy to maneuver with one hand, unlike zippers. The capsules also fit into the Parcel perfectly. I love that they magnetize together when open, and they're easy to travel and organize with. Overall, Cadence does a great job designing aesthetic and functional products. The Capsules have some minor issues, such as being heavy and minor leaking. However, the Cadence team really innovates with all of its products to work well with the capsule system. The Parcel is fantastic--no further notes. Lastly, their customer service is top notch!

  • Okay they’re cuuuuttteeee! But they’re small. I dk what I was expecting, but that was my first thought. I immediately regretted not ordering the adapters because digging out product isn’t my favorite, so I placed a second order for those almost instantly. Sometimes it takes me a second to screw them closed and sometimes the corners don’t fully line up, the seal has been fine but it’s hard for me to trust. I think the aesthetic of the brand is there, but with the price I can see how it would be hard to justify when other travel options are easier to use and lighter on the wallet

  • Was introduced to this product through a friend and became obsessed as soon as I received myself! Full transparency; I did receive as a gift from the brand but I would purchase again and again and give as gifts! I love the brands mission and that the company is female founded. The capsules are sustainable and make traveling with toiletries a breeze. I have struggled with finding the right containers to hold shampoo, face wash, hair products... i even bought a tiny funnel to help save product from dripping outside of the bottles when transferring. one tiny capsule holds 8 vitamins a day for me - so I have a pack of 7 for the days of the week that I travel with. I then have a set for toiletries and one capsule can hold 7 days worth of product for me (some even more!) My facewash, clarifying pads, Olaplex smoothing hair treatment, face serums, etc... all fit in these capsules. They are magnetic and really stay together and more importantly, they don't leak!

    Feedback

I do wish they made some bigger capsules for longer trips and also added a dropper top for serums (serums can be $$$ and I don't want to lose a drop). I would also love a different shape for jewelry as it has been a game changer for my rings!

  • Such promise, but ultimately a miss. To be fair, I am using Cadence’s older generation of products. Maybe they improved their concept and made the travel capsules better, but the originals are made very poorly. If you accidentally screw them on too tightly, they crack! They kind of look 3D printed, like that kind of material, if that makes sense. Just totally not durable and don’t hold enough product for some of what I take with me. More useful for a weekend trip. A plus is the color options and customization offered, but not worth the money for me.

  • These are such a great gift for anyone who likes to travel. I use them to keep toiletries, meds, and jewelry depending on where I’m headed. They’re magnetic and are so easy to label! I would definitely get another set in the future!

  • Love these capsules and how flexible they are. Once you get the hang of it, you find so many reasons to use and things to fit into a capsule! I use them around the house just as much as I do for traveling.

  • Cadence had me with the idea: tiny magnetic containers you can pack jewelry or meds into and snap together. But once I tried them, I realized I never used them. They’re simply too small to be practical. I brought them on one trip and afterward they just sat there. I still like the concept.. it just didn’t work for real life.

  • I got this as a Christmas gift (it's usually my go-to gift). It's one of those things that I didn't want to buy by myself, but I'm so happy I have it! Has made traveling easier.
