Bombas reviews and discussion

Reviews mention

  • Plush cushioning comfort
  • Secure no-show grip
  • Supportive arch compression
  • Breathable performance fabrics
  • Inconsistent fabric durability
  • Tight calf compression
  • Thick knit heat buildup
  • Sizing inconsistency across styles

Bombas delivers notably comfortable, supportive socks that many reviews call their daily go-to—no-show styles stay put, performance and running pairs cushion without bulk, and kids’ grippy socks impress—yet durability is inconsistent, with multiple reports of holes, pilling, and shrinkage. Reviews on Bombas also praise breathable materials, arch-hugging fit, and the brand’s donation model, while flagging product-inherent drawbacks like thick fabrics feeling too warm or tight on wide calves, variable sizing between styles, and a price that feels steep for socks.

  • comfy, don't slip, and officially my favorite socks to wear to the gym. they're worth the hype!

  • extremely comfy and well padded socks! my only negative is the cost. a single pair can cost $13. i think they’re great for gift giving though!

  • The most comfortable socks I have worn. The whole idea of giving back makes this purchase worth every penny.

  • 100% of buying again, it feels so soft but at the same time it is compressed, which is amazing bcs with that I don’t loose my socks during the night time anymore.

  • Huge bombas fan. These socks aren't cheap, but they're super comfortable and they definitely last. My bombas are my favorite socks in my drawer and I find I always reach for them when I know I want to be comfortable. They also make no show socks that actually stay on my small heels.

  • The original socks are good but the performance socks are the best! The performance socks fit my foot like a glove, they don’t slide and the dry quickly even on the hottest of days and hardest of workouts. I grab for the performance socks before I will go for the original.

  • I bought these for my kids as christmas stocking stuffers. They went over really well - I buy them every year now! My son, in particular, loves them as he is active - tennis, biking, and skiing. He says they're super comfortable and wear well. Both kids appreciate that with every pair they buy, proceeds go to helping out the homeless. Really good quality and fun designs.

Save on the packaging - they're socks ... do we really need that much packaging?

  • A really solid brand, with a great mission. My husband is absolutely loyal to their calf socks, and I'm happy with the ones I have as well. I'm not a fan of the cushioned no show socks—the heel bit kind of bunched up all funky.

  • I love the ethos of this brand and recently got my daughter super cute Sesame Street socks! We’ve bought them numerous times and mostly are very happy with them.

The thinner trouser socks don’t hold up nearly as long and got the price I felt like that was disappointing. But we’ll come back for their classic socks and also love the ski socks!

  • These are just okay. I have the grip socks intended for barre/Pilates. They do seem to function in this regard/for this purpose.

They’re comfortable, sure, but they started falling apart at the heels almost immediately. Maybe these are strictly meant for wearing alone and not with shoes..but that isn’t realistic for my life. I’m pretty sure they replacement guarantee, but I haven’t used it. I don’t think I would re-purchase. I like to put it this way, if I got these as a gift I wouldn’t be sad, but I would never buy these for myself willingly

  • Adult socks are nice, but baby and toddler Sesame Street socks are amazing! Great customer service too.

My boys are obsessed with the Sesame Street bombas. The designs are so cute (although they recently changed the baby designs so they no longer have the full character on them), the bottom grippers are extremely helpful for new walkers, and the lifetime guarantee on baby products is wonderful. My son wore the Cookie socks so much they got holes in them in about a year of use. He was so sad he “broke cookie”. Bombas, no questions asked sent a new set. Saved the day!

  • I really like Bombas - they last a long time and have a nice fit.

Not a fan of the limited edition or collab socks. I'd prefer for them to just stick to the basics.

  • I love their no show socks. The nude color is perfect. They are truly no show and they do not move once they are on your feet. These are the only no show socks I will ever buy. Update: I also purchased the toddler gripper slipper for my kid. The patterns are so cute, and they have been great for her as the temperatures drop. They're a little large for her, but I'm glad she can grow into them.

  • A friend gifted me a pair of Bombas and I love them! They are soo soft and warm.

  • These are my favorite socks! I primarily use them for activewear, but I also have no-shows. They have the right amount of cushion and support! I wish they weren't so expensive, or else I would buy more.

  • I didn't think I cared that much about what I put on my feet until I got Bombas as a gift. I only have one pair so far and end up rationing my use of them because they're so treasured to me. I get sad when they're in the wash. This is life at 30 I guess! I'm sure there's lots of high tech that go into these socks that would explain why I like them, but at the end of the day, they just feel great on my feet.

Too expensive to replace all my socks with them :(
