Bombas reviews and discussion

Reviews mention

  • Plush cushioning comfort
  • Supportive honeycomb arch band
  • Secure no-show heel grip
  • Breathable, moisture-wicking knit
  • Inconsistent long-term durability
  • Occasional tight calf compression
  • Notably thick, warm knit
  • Sizing and fit variability

Bombas earns strong reviews for comfort, support, and stay-put performance—especially in running, no-show, kids’ gripper, and compression socks—while its one-pair-donated mission resonates. Reviews also flag real drawbacks: frequent reports of holes within months to a couple years, occasional shrinking or tight calves/ankles, some styles too thick or warm, and inconsistent fit among designs, making quality feel uneven despite many long-lasting pairs.

  • I really like Bombas - they last a long time and have a nice fit.

Not a fan of the limited edition or collab socks. I'd prefer for them to just stick to the basics.

  • I love their no show socks. The nude color is perfect. They are truly no show and they do not move once they are on your feet. These are the only no show socks I will ever buy. Update: I also purchased the toddler gripper slipper for my kid. The patterns are so cute, and they have been great for her as the temperatures drop. They're a little large for her, but I'm glad she can grow into them.

  • A friend gifted me a pair of Bombas and I love them! They are soo soft and warm.

  • These are my favorite socks! I primarily use them for activewear, but I also have no-shows. They have the right amount of cushion and support! I wish they weren't so expensive, or else I would buy more.

  • I didn't think I cared that much about what I put on my feet until I got Bombas as a gift. I only have one pair so far and end up rationing my use of them because they're so treasured to me. I get sad when they're in the wash. This is life at 30 I guess! I'm sure there's lots of high tech that go into these socks that would explain why I like them, but at the end of the day, they just feel great on my feet.

Too expensive to replace all my socks with them :(

  • These socks are incredibly comfortable. They have that comforting snugness and thickness of a nice sock, are soft and durable.

My biggest complaint is that my partner is constantly stealing mine. *eyes*

  • Basically the only socks I buy and wear anymore. I normally destroy socks within a season or two but these hold up longer than any other socks I've ever bought. Also love that the seamless seam because the bulky seams on other socks would always give me blisters before.

  • I love how comfortable these socks are and I look forward to my Bombas socks in my rotation of socks! The mission of donating one is very valuable and makes me feel better about the price.

    The price hurts my soul.

  • I love my bombas! I was gifted a set for Christmas in 2019. They are well made. I got the wool socks that made my feed feel warm, supported, but not too hot. For the price, I probably wouldn’t purchase myself. But I love these as gifts.

  • I discovered Bombas by stealing pairs from my mother, who promptly bought me a pack that I wear constantly. (Now my husband steals them from me.) They have the perfect foot-hug sensation that makes you feel nice and cozy and supportive (if you can call socks supportive.) I've become quite the Bombas fangirl.

Most of their colors are quite bright. I wish they had more in the natural colors realm. Also they're a bit pricey (but worth it).

  • While the quality of these socks remains relatively high, I have found that it has decreased overtime. I’m unsure if this is due to potential cost-cutting measures, but the difference is noticeable. While I appreciate the charitable giving associated with each purchase, the price remains too high for the value received.

  • Loved the comfort of these socks!

  • These socks are okay. While they hold up great, I would expect them to wash better than they do. The pair I have now is very pilled and while it has no holes, it still looks very worn. As expensive as they are, it should be a little higher quality.

  • These socks are soooo comfortable it’s ridiculous! They’re a little bit on the pricier side of things but the quality is wonderful. I received them as a gift for Christmas and have been wearing them daily since.

  • They are so soft and snug and cozy. I liked all the colors and different varieties as well. I use them every day and they keep my free dry and comfortable without getting scratched with my shoes. Last long and makes for good quality gift

  • These socks are great quality and very comfortable. I also love the mission that donates clothing to those in need for each purchase made. However, these socks are outrageously priced, making them more of a special treat than an every day staple.

  • Bombas socks have set the bar high for comfort, quality, and social responsibility. With their superior comfort, durability, and wide variety of styles, Bombas has earned its reputation as one of the best sock brands on the market. Plus, the brand’s commitment to helping those in need makes each purchase feel even better. If you’re looking for socks that combine style, performance, and philanthropy, Bombas is definitely worth the investment.

  • A soft curl protects the back of my heel from the rear lip of my shoe. In addition, the curl is just thick enough to discourage sand and pebbles from sneaking in during my trail walks. Nary a blister has ever appeared while hiking or walking through the streets of Denver in my Bombas.

  • These socks come is so many color ways and different styles. I like the ankle length socks as they are comfortable to walk in and stay in place as well. They look cute peeking out of my shoes with the pastel colors
