BIRKENSTOCK earns strong reviews for comfort that improves as the contoured cork footbed molds to the foot and for durability that can span years, with icons like Arizona, Boston, Mayari, and EVA slides praised for everyday wear. Reviews also flag drawbacks: a painful break‑in for many, sizing confusion and wide fit, soles and cork that can crack or wear quickly (especially when wet), occasional odor and chafing in heat, and mixed experiences for flat or very high arches.

Just the most comfy.. and they last years. Favorite stat? The average berk customer owns 3.6 pairs. If that's not an endorsement, I don't know what is.
These take a bit to break in but once you break them, they are so comfortable. I suggest wearing them for ten mins max at a time until they feel comfortable.
I mean, c'mon. They're popular for a reason! I've had the Gizeh and suede Arizona sandals. The Gizeh held up through yearrrrs of torture to them, always extremely comfortable. I am due for a new pair. And the Arizona's are my summer go-to's (even fall!). So comfortable and look awesome, cute color and adjustable for when you want to slip some socks in those babies. Worth the money!!
I looove my Birkenstocks! I will admit that I had to "break them in" before they felt comfortable. They're so easy to slip on and one of my favorite summer shoes! Also, they feel so durable!
I love the shoes so much! I have the original Arizona sandal and even though it takes a while to break in it's so worth it. I would definitely recommend wear socks with them for the first few wears so you don't die with blisters. But I wear these things everywhere (Camping, grocery shopping, etc.).
I have been wearing Birkenstocks for over a decade and they still look and feel great. In fact, one of the pairs that I have I have had for 10 years and they are still kicking it.
Overall I love the shoe but they can definitely be a little pricey. I have only had the cork ones (not sure what they are actually made of) and so far they have held up pretty nicely. I do have friends that own the PVA ones and they say that they tend to break or rip pretty easily, but I’ve never personally had the. Overall good shoe just wish the price would come down.
Birkenstocks in general are just a great investment! I do have to say, as someone with wider flat feet, the break-in time can be really rough. I've had mine for about a year (2 summers) and I'm still working to break them in, particularly around the edges. Don't regret getting them because I know that they are going to LAST, but definitely something to think about if you have wider feet.
I grew up in Germany and this has always been the "comfy to go" shoes and this stuck with me. Birkens are comfortable, pratical and for any occasion, specially currently that they have so many different models. I have several, and love them.
I wore Birkenstocks years ago and am so glad they are back in style! They are the most comfortable sandals and now have so many fun options.
Wore these since I was a child and now I buy them for my whole family! Clogs for life!!!
My favorite shoe brand, They are built to last and extremely comfortable.

I love my birkenstocks. I have the Arizona slides. I know for plenty they are super comfortable -- but as someone who has *FLAT* feet I had to break them in for a while to get them too mold to my feet. The cork on the back has also worn down significantly after 2 years, make of that what you will. At the end of the day, I'm going too get them re-soled so I don't have to get another pair and restart the process to break them in. Other than that I'm obsessed with them. Because my feet are also wide the Arizonas are awesome because they are adjustable.

I live in my Birkenstocks! I have multiple pairs and styles, along with the insoles! They’re a bit rough until they’re broken in, but I highly recommend
One of the most comfiest pair of shoes I have, and my go-to for a quick run out the door or taking my dog fr a short walk. You kind of have to break them in in the beginning but it doesn't take long and it's so worth it. I truly have nothing but great things to say about this brand! The durability on these as well are impressive, they're built to last you years (depending on how much you wear them). Pro tip: get the soft footbed ones!!

My favorite brand of sandals. I've exclusively worn their sandals for the last decade and I keep coming back. Their comfortable soles and great styles are great for any occasion and give all day comfort.
Still one of the comfiest pair of shoes that easily match with 80% of my closet! Recently snatched the fuzzy Arizona's too and wish I could wear them all the time.
I live in my Birkenstocks! I love how the mold to my feet. Making my everyday walk very comfortable. The colors are beautiful!
The Boston Clogs are to die for. Comfiest footwear I own. I am dreading not being able to wear in the fall/winter here in Canada. High quality. Definitely worth the price.
I had never really liked the look of Birkenstocks. I honestly tried them because they are popular. At first, I didn’t really care for them. After wearing them a few times, they are my go to sandals. They are very supportive to my arch and I can wear them a long time without any foot pain.
